'I suppose I have to, don't I?' he said, smiling once more. 'Er…what about Ron and Hermione?'

'Well, Fred and George have Joined Already. I'm trying to convince Molly about Ronald and Virginia and I'm going to tea with the Grangers this afternoon to discuss the dangers and such.' Harry nodded. 'Well, I must go. Good bye, Harry.'

He turned and closed the door behind him.

Harry took off up the stairs at top speed. When he reached his bedroom door he couldn't turn the doorknob fast enough for the speed his body was moving and he ran straight into the door. He let out a loud yelp.

'Traitors! Children of filth. Mudbloods and half breeds! Stains of dishonour! Abominations! All in MY house!' Silence.

'Sorry!' Harry called down the stairs. He managed to open the door and went inside. 'Ron!' he said excitedly. Ron was lying sprawled out on top of his sheets. He groaned and rolled over so he was facing away from Harry. 'Ron! Wake up! I've got to tell you something!'

'No, no,' mumbled Ron. 'I don't know where your puffskin is, Fred'

'RON! GET UP,' Harry ran over and poked Ron in the back of the head.

'Alright, alright. I'm up.' Ron rolled off the bed to his feet. 'What is it?'

'Follow me,' said Harry. He marched out the door and down the hall to Hermione and Ginny's room. He reached for the doorknob but hesitated, and instead, reached up and knocked on the door lightly.

There was a quick scrambling noise before… 'Come in,' came Hermione's voice. Harry turned the doorknob and pushed the door open. Ron followed him through the door. 'Hey Harry,' said Hermione.

'Hi,' Harry said. 'I've got a few bits of good news; I thought I'd share them with you.' Hermione smiled.

'What's the good news, Harry?' she asked.

'Well, you know how Mr. Weasley is running for minister?' Hermione nodded and Ron and Ginny's eyes widened expectantly. 'Well, in a poll he seems to have 93% of the votes,' Harry finished with a smile.

Ron's jaw dropped and Ginny gasped loudly. Hermione smiled. 'I thought he had a pretty good chance,' she said assuredly.

'The next bit is that we've received a grant from the ministry for three million galleons for a new headquarters!' Harry said, sounding excited.

'Wow! That's excellent!' said Hermione.

'Unbelievable,' said Ron. 'Went from nobody believing a word we say to having them hand over all this money to us just because.'

'Be grateful' said Ginny. 'Three million galleons. Never thought I'd ever even be able to say that,' she whispered happily. She looked as if she were about to burst into tears. A single tear ran down her cheek. 'Happy tears,' she whispered, seeing her brother's concerned expression.

'The next thing,' said Harry 'is that I am now allowed to join the Order of the Phoenix. Dumbledore's speaking with your mother about the two of you, and, Hermione, he's visiting your parents this afternoon to speak with them about it.'

Ron smiled. 'She'll do anything Dumbledore tells her to,' he laughed.

Ginny nodded in agreement and smiled.

Hermione looked surprised. 'I think my parents will let me,' she said. 'Not sure though.'

'Percy's made up with your Mum and Dad,' Harry said to Ron and Ginny. 'And, I've been made Gryffindor's third 6th year prefect,' Harry finished with a huge grin.

'Oh, I've been made a Prefect too!' said Ginny. 'Congratulations, Harry!'

'You too, Gin!' Replied Harry.

'Well this is certainly a day of happy announcements,' said Hermione. 'What time is it?'

Ron looked at his watch. 'Half 5,' he said. 'I'm going back to sleep, if you don't mind,' he said, obviously directing his words at Harry. He got up and walked out of the room.

Ginny yawned widely and flopped over onto her pillow, closing her eyes.

'D'you want to go down for breakfast, Harry?' Hermione asked.

'Yeah, sure,' he said.
