Hermione was smiling widely when Harry reached the ground. "Feel better?' she asked.
"Why?" Harry asked.
"I know you haven't flown in forever. And you look pretty happy," Hermione replied.
Harry hopped down from his broom and kissed her. "Feeling much better," he said, before kissing her again. Before he could pull away, she reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer. He couldn't hold in his moan as his entire body pressed against hers. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer still, if at all possible.
"Hey!" Ginny called from the air, about 20 feet above them. "I wouldn't exactly call that flying!"
Harry pulled away from his girlfriend, took her hand, and pulled her towards her broom. She sat on it, and he sat behind her, securing his hands tightly to the handle in front of her. He pulled slowly off the ground, rising higher and higher. "Harry," Hermione hissed.
"Mione, trust me. I won't let anything happen to you."
"Gin!" Harry called across the entrance hall. Ginny, who was heading through the door into the hall leading to the stairs, stopped and turned around. Harry waved her towards the dining hall. "I'll meet you in the common room in a few minutes," He said to Hermione. He then headed into the dining hall after Ginny.
"What is actually going on between you two?" Harry asked, after quickly checking to be sure that the room was empty.
"Nothing…" replied Ginny quietly.
"Gin, you came outside looking for him, and I saw him looking for you. What's going on?"
Ginny looked down at the floor. "You can't tell anyone."
"You can trust me."
"Um…we've been seeing each other for about 6 months." (A/N – Told ya!) Harry's jaw hit the floor. "Shhhh!" said Ginny quickly.
Harry took a deep breath. "It's ok. I guess it had to happen…destiny and prophesies and all. You really like him?" Harry asked, genuinely interested.
Ginny smiled and nodded. "Thanks Harry, I guess I should have know I could tell you."
"You're like a sister to me, you know that right?"
"Yeah, I know." Ginny stepped forward and hugged him.
Just then Malfoy came walking onto the dining hall. He pulled his hood from his head, eyebrows raised at seeing Ginny hugging Harry. "He knows," she blurted out quickly.
"What!?" Malfoy replied. Harry looked worried.
"It's ok, he won't tell anyone," Ginny said quietly, looking worried.
Malfoy stepped closer to her. "Are you sure?" he asked quietly.
Ginny nodded. Malfoy looked up at Harry, as if trying to determine for himself if she was right.
"Gin, have you told him about the prophesy?" Harry asked.
Ginny shook her head. She turned to Malfoy and said, "Draco, there was a prophesy made that says we're supposed to join together to help Harry defeat You-Know-Who."
"Um…" Malfoy didn't seem to know what to say.
"Don't worry about it," said Harry. "Just trust me, I won't tell anyone."
"How can I trust you?"
"Draco, I trust him," Ginny whispered. "Can't you trust me?"
"Yeah, I trust you."
"I'm going to go. See you at dinner." Harry left the dining hall and headed upstairs.
Ginny walked into Draco's arms, and he pulled her into a hug to comfort her. "I was so scare you were going to be mad at me for telling him," she whispered quietly.
"It's impossible to be mad at you," he replied softly, kissing her hair. "But don't tell anyone else."
"I wont. There is no one else I can trust."
She tilted her head up towards him and pressed her lips against his. He ran his right hand down to rest at the small of her back, and cupped her cheek with his left. She wrapped both arms around his neck, and the world dissolved around them.
