(A/N – omg this is so awesome. The idea for this chapter came to me while I was sleeping, so I had to get up in the middle of the night and type it so I wouldn't forget about it. I know it's short, but there's nothing more I could really say after, so bear with me while I write the next chapter.)

It was dark. Pitch black. "Shit," he said. "I fell asleep." He felt around beside the bed for his wand. "Lumos," he whispered. His underage magic would not be detected; the Dark Lord had made sure of that. He rose from the bed, already dressed in the black cloak of a death eater. With the hood raised over his head, he would not be recognized by any who saw him.

He found his way to the door, opened it, and glided slowly down the hall. He reached a staircase, which he followed down into a large room. He looked around quickly to be sure the room was not occupied. He decided it was safe to cross the room. He opened the door at the other side and stepped out into a dark hallway. It appeared as if the torches on the walls had already gone out for the night. He found his way through the winding maze of hallways, his wand casting only enough light to prevent him from running into walls, finally reaching the one door he was looking for. He pulled the small, silver key he had been given out of his pocket, and slid it into the keyhole. He opened the door, and found himself in a fairly large dark room, which was also empty of occupants.

He closed the door behind him. He knew that this was where he was in most danger of being caught; he had to move quickly. He walked across the room as quickly and quietly as he could, listening for sounds in the hallway before him. When he was sure that there was no one there, he quickly ran through the hallway, and up the stairs. He once again used the key he had been given to open the third door on the left at the top of the stairs, and slipped in quietly, pulling his hood off as he crossed the threshold.

Finally, he had reached his destination.

A young girl was sitting cross-legged on the bed, head bent over a book which she was reading by light of a lamp on her bedside table. When she heard him enter, she looked up. A look of huge relief crossed her face.

"Thank Merlin!" she said quietly. "I thought you'd been caught or something. What took you so long?" the girls flaming red hair was practically glowing in the lamplight.

"I was waiting for your stupid brother to get out of the fucking common room, and then I fell asleep. What time is it anyway?"

"It's almost 3. what was he doing there?" she asked.

"Nothing! He was just sitting there doing absolutely nothing."

"Oh. Well…Charlie does that a lot," she said.

"Well," he whispered quietly, crossing the room to sit on the bed next to her. "I made it."

She quickly pushed her book onto the floor before pressed his lips against hers. "Draco…" she whispered as he slid his hand under her shirt.

"I love you, Ginny." Draco Malfoy said, glad to finally be here with her.
