SUMMERY: Ten years after the death of Mithos, two mourners are brought together. By chance, or is something more at work? Gesea

"Hello, Mithos," A silver-haired man who looked to be in his early twenties knelt at a gravestone, placing a bouquet of daisies next to it. Genis Sage, now at the age of twenty-two, ran his fingers over the words craved into the headstone. "Mithos Yggdrasil," The mage read to himself, for the hundredth or so time in ten years, "A friend, and a foe. He changed the world..."

"And for that he must be remembered." Genis turned. A young woman who appeared his own age, with rose-colored tresses and dull blue eyes, stood next to him. She leaned down and placed a spring of white flowers on the ground, next to Genis' daises. He smiled weakly.

"P-Presea! It-It's been a while," The half-elf stuttered, blushing. Presea Combatir looked at him and nodded.

"Too long," The taciturn girl informed him. Genis kept his eyes on the flowers and nodded. They stood in silence for a moment.

"Presea flowers."

"Hmm?" Genis looked up.

"They are Presea flowers."

"T-They're beautiful."

"Thank you."

"I'm sure Mithos likes them..."

Presea sank down and sat on the ground. Genis plopped down next to her. She smiled weakly. She reached at touched the grave.

"I made this, you know," The axe fighter said quietly. Genis nodded. He was aware of this.

"And I wrote the words, remember?"

Presea laughed gently. "Yes. And Lloyd wanted to put something about how he killed people on it..."

"And I said, 'No! We don't want to remember that Mithos...'" Genis continued the story sadly. Presea nodded. "And then you said, 'I will carve them...'"

She smiled. Genis looked only mildly surprised. "And Colette. Remember, she fell and cracked the first one!"

Genis laughed. "And Ranie got really angry!"

The youngest members of the former group giggled.

"Do any of the others ever come?" Presea asked suddenly. Genis looked at her.

"I haven't seen any of them in..."

"...Ten years?" Presea finished. Genis nodded silently.

"Colette and Lloyd are getting married," Presea up-dated him.

"They are?" She nodded. He shrugged. "They'll be happy, then."

"Until death do them part," At Presea's remark, they both looked quickly back at the grave. Presea hugged her knees.

"I was foolish back then, I suppose," Genis looked at her, confused. She smiled. "Mithos was my friend, too, Genis. I...Well, I thought that...Since he thought we were alike we were good friends...Remember, he said, 'You and I are alike, Presea. We're both alone...'"

"And then I said, 'No! Neither of you are alone! You've got me!'" Genis added. "We were both foolish."

"Well, we were fools together!" Presea said boldly, grabbing Genis' hand. He flushed.

"Yeah...Together..."

Four years later...

"I do," Genis, now at the age of twenty-seven, burst out as they finished stating the vows.

"Kiss her!" The Hero of the Worlds, Lloyd Irving cried. Colette Irving grabbed her husband and pulled him into his seat. Sheena Wilder, chief of Mizuho, laughed. The king's advisor and her husband, Zelos Wilder, snickered silently. Professor Ranie sent them all exasperated glances. Linar grasped her shoulder.

Genis complied, and kissed Presea, the love of his life. Together, they turned from the ceremony and stared behind it.

"Until death do us part, right, Genis?"

Genis laughed. "Yes." Again together, they knelt down and placed two flowers next to a grave.

"Nice wedding, huh, Mithos?"
