Neku-chan: OK, this is just one very pointless fic of Yami and Bakura stuck inside, and Yami being an ass. One-shot for now, but I might continue.

Yami's POV

I hate the cold. There's absolutely nothing right about having your whole body trembling like you're having a seizure just because of this Ra-damned weather! Aibou doesn't seem to have a problem with it, for some reason. Neither do his friends, for that matter. Jou least of all. Must be some sort of built-up immunity from living here. Perhaps an ice age is coming. … images of a giant furry elephant with a baby, and what looks like a primitive ferret slide across a glacier through my mind. That was weird.

But, moving back to the weather… Strange white stuff is falling from the sky, and as I sit here in the warmth of the Game Shop, watching aibou and his friends prancing through it like they were children, I can't help but feel a slight pang of… curiosity! Aah! No! Baaaddd Atem! Bad! No messing with things you don't understand! Remember LAST time? Well, actually, no I don't. But the white crystal rain is so intriguing; I've never seen anything like it before! It looks safe enough; It can't be TOO cold outside if that stuff is falling without freezing! Maybe I'll join them?

"Where are YOU going, Pharaoh?" comes a sudden voice from beneath a large pile of blankets. Eep! It's alive! ..Oh, wait no. It's Bakura. … Eep! It's Bakura! That's worse!

"I happen to be going outside, I'll have you know," I snap. I can just make out his brown eyes peering at me through the thick woolen afghans. It must be very warm under there; probably TOO warm, seeing as he's under about 15 blankets AND next to the fireplace. Heh, hope he burns! That would really make my day… or month… Hells, it would make me happy enough to smile all year!

"What's so damn funny?" he snapped. I stopped laughing for a second. He poked his head out from a particularly disgusting orange blanket and stared at me, the glow of the fire blazing behind him. His normally milk-pale face was splotched with pink and scarlet, and bore the imprint of the blankets' textures, and his thick white hair was messier than usual. He sounded tired; It was likely he had been asleep a minute or two ago. Dare I say it?

"Nothing… you're just like a kitten when you sleep, you know?" I bit back a laugh when Bakura's eyes sparked in an imitation of the fireplace behind him. A low attempt at a growl sounded in his throat… well, more of a purr, actually. I did laugh this time, having completely forgotten about the strange white rain outside. I had found my entertainment for today!
