"Harry come down here right now." Aunt Petunia yelled harshly up the stairs.
"I'm coming" Harry said walking down the stairs.
"Harry, we are going to be enjoying ourselves on one of the most expensive cruise ships that have ever been made for Dudley's birthday. While we are gone you will be staying with Mrs. Figg." Uncle Vernon said with a grin.
"Fine" Harry said in a "whatever" tone and went upstairs to pack his trunk for Hogwarts the following week.
"Harry I am so glad you are staying a whole week with me." Said Mrs. Figg.
"Me too," Harry said with a weak smile trying to hide the fact that her cabbage smelling living room was giving him a headache. All in all though a week with Mrs. Figg was far better than a week stuck on a cruise ship with the Dursleys.
After an interesting week with Mrs. Figg, her cats, and all her stories, and of course, lots of aspirin to help the headaches from the cabbage smell, Harry looked forward to going to Diagon Alley. He was extremely glad that it was finally time to get to Hogwarts.
Once Harry got on the train he found Ron and Hermione.
"Hey, did you here?" Ron asked.
"Here what " asked Hermione.
" There are going to be three orphans that will come to Hogwarts. They are going to be in Snape's care." Ron said.
" Don't listen to him Harry he is just making up stories again." Hermione said in a preppy voice.
" Ron how do you know this?" Harry asked ignoring Hermione.
"I overheard dad telling mum that Snape told the ministry that the secret of Hogwarts would not be found out about by muggles through the orphans." Ron said in an I told you so kind of voice.
"Those poor orphans in Snape's care. Why Snape anyway?" Harry asked
"I guess Snape is their only living relative." Ron said.
"Yes those poor orphans. Who do you think our new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be? Asked Hermione changing the subject.
"I don't know. I just hope whoever it is isn't like Snape." Ron said.
"Look we are almost at Hogwarts" Hermione said.
