AN: Warning, this mentions shojo ai. And in case you didn't know, that means it deals with a girl/girl relationship. So don't flame me and say I didn't warn you.

Decisions, decisions…
It was a cloudy, sunless day. A cold breeze blew throughout the village, forcing people to pull their jackets closer. Leaves fluttered, hair was blown about, and warmth-seeking humans stayed indoors. Only those who had business stayed out, except for one.
A park bench had become her best friend recently. It was where she always went to brood on something. Sometimes, she mused about her forehead, a source of shame for her. Occasionally, it was her hatred of Naruto. But often, like this time, it was on love.
Sakura stared off into space, ignoring the unseasonable coolness. Her chin was rested in her hands, and her arms rested on her knees. She stooped forward, deep in thought. Otherwise, she was silent, with the silence only broken by the occasional sigh.
Her thoughts? Muddled, self-degrading, and lovelorn as always. Her thoughts kept shifting to the two people who held her heart.
Sasuke was probably the hottest teenage boy in all of Konohagakure. His messy, raven locks and deep, dark eyes had drawn nearly every girl in the village to him. He always brushed them off, though, and that only drew them to him even more. The girls loved it when he supposedly played hard to get. They drooled over him, stalked him, and threatened the lucky girl who got grouped with him in a cell upon graduation from the cadet school. There were plenty of times when Sasuke had saved her neck. She was grateful for that. Not to mention, the Uchiha heir was a lovely chunk of eye candy. Who couldn't love that cool, calm, aloof demeanor?
Ino, the sexy blonde. She was the first outside the Haruno family to show Sakura any kindness. Ino helped Sakura overcome the bullying, and showed her a true friendship. She was Sakura's first true friend. They spent years together in their little group, Sakura always wearing that bow that was given to her as a gift. It was broken up over a rivalry over Sasuke, but eventually came back together, somewhat. Ino could be insulting and sugary sweet at the same time.
She remembered all of the times her heart fluttered when looking at Sasuke. She remembered all of the times that she felt that her friendship with Ino could have been a bit more.
With every night passed, and she would face an inner battle. Who should she choose? Who was her heart to go to?
Chasing after Sasuke would mean being shot down time after time again. But still, if she succeeded, she could have children. Her parents would be proud to have a Uchiha in the family, and their combined blood in grandchildren. But she would be the target of death threats from the other girls in the village. That, and she would lose her best friend again.
Going after Ino meant happiness for her, but shame on the rest of the family. No grandchildren with the family blood. She would have somebody to talk to, a lover with whom she could reminisce with.
She had to choose now. Missions were becoming more and more dangerous for the students. She couldn't bear to see one die before she made her feelings known.
But who to pick? This could take a while…
AN: Review, flame, nothing,I don't care. I'm not exactly proud of this piece.
