Something Pink
Part 2: Fall of Syaoran Li
"Tomoyo! Where is she?!" A mad man yelled through her door, while banging on it.
Tomoyo threw the door open and stared at a disheveled Syaoran in surprise. "Syaoran! Quiet down, will you?"
"Where is she?" He asked again, walking into her house without her permission.
Tomoyo crossed her arms and tapped her foot, staring at him impatiently. "I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Stop hiding her!"
"What are you talking about?"
Syaoran started looking into the rooms. When he finished, he looked at Tomoyo desperately, "Where is she?"
"Gone."
"Where?"
"She's not in this state anymore. You won't find her here."
"What are you saying?" Syaoran murmured incredibly.
"She doesn't want to be found by you after what you did."
"But I--"
"You won't find her, Syaoran Li. She can't be found if she doesn't want to be."
"But--"
"Oh, yeah, she left something for me to give to you." Tomoyo left him there, to get whatever it was she had to give him. She returned with a small box and a yellow envelope. "Now, you better go before I call the authorities. I know you do not want to tarnish the good Li name."
"But, I need to talk to her, please. Tell me. Where can I find her?"
"I'm sorry, Syaoran. I can't help you. She is as dear to me as a sister, and I promised her that no matter what, I will not tell you. I can't let you hurt her a second time. She wants to start over. Maybe you should do the same."
"But if you would just let me explain…"
"Even if you do, I won't tell you anything!" With that said Tomoyo slammed the door shut in his face.
Drained, Tomoyo sat down on the couch and whispered quietly to herself, "Good luck, Syaoran…"
Syaoran Li went home, alone. Once home, he went to their room, and sat at the desk. He opened the small box that Tomoyo had given him. It revealed a ring, its diamond shaped like a cherry blossom. Seeing this, he quickly seized the papers in the envelope. His eyes widened as he scanned the papers. As he suspected, Sakura wanted a divorce. In anger, Syaoran flung the papers up and buried his face in his hands. What was he supposed to do now? She could be anywhere in the United States. How could he convince her that he needed her?
It was his fault. She warned him, and tried to keep him safe, but he neglected her. The divorce papers rained down on him as he thought. There was only one way to find her and tell her. He would hire the best detectives of the country and have them search for her. He would try that and not give in to the divorce papers.

A.N. Sorry, it's so short. There wasn't really much to write about. The next chapter is going to be longer because that's where I really want to start the story. Review, and have a nice day. ^_^ Bye
