Hi this is based off of my play-through of Stellaris with the United Nations Of Earth. During my research I realized how advanced Stellaris can truly get, so it might be a little bit of a steamroll but I find that we need a refresher on how strong we can become. My warhammer knowledge is not perfect so please correct me in the comments and I'll try to fix it.
"Do you think they're ready for this assignment? You're practically putting them up against genocidal toddlers"
"I understand you're doubts old friend but the call for assistance was put in a long time ago. This new development in their dimension has completely changed the playing field"
"And you think that we have the right to interfere! We took that promise for a reason!"
"The people we made that promise to died because of our inaction. If we don't interfere now we'll open the gates for someone else to do it on their own terms"
"And that gives us the right to curse the so called helpers! you'd be condemning them to help a dimension no one cares about!"
"There are multiple gods in that dimension that will soon become enlightened of our order and given an offer to join us. Imagine what they'll do when we must pass on. It'll be like when I first joined the order!"
"Truthfully?... then there is no choice... do as you must Erebos and may the council approve of our action"

Sarah Briggs stared into the wormhole hoping that if she looked intensely enough it would real it's answers. She hoped that they could eventually do more than look at the damn thing, for three months the UNE had its best and brightest look at it's sudden appearance next to the cradle of mankind herself.
Her brow furrowed on the thought of what unknown threats lay on the other side. Countless battles have taught her to always be on guard when protecting something vital, from when it was the Elusien gateway on the Zaanami border to when she was escorting refugees from Europa 7 after the Commonwealth's attack.
Her mind drifted back to the present though, for her communication panel had lit up on her chair.
"What I'm saying Mr. president is that you haven't even let us scout it out with probes yet, and you want us to send in the whole damn fleet?!" The president was fully exhausted at this point from having to deal with both the eggheads and the senate at each other's throats, now he was trying to explain the situation to not only the best damn admiral in his fleet but also the people's hero
"Briggs we couldn't send in probes due to the fluctuations in the stability of the wormhole, I can't even consider a science ship. The only way we can get there is by tethering smaller ships to the Vancouver, by using some tachyon tether doodad". Even He had to admit that sending in one of the superheavy juggernauts was a pretty outlandish plan though
"Mr. president can I ask if the senate has approved of this decision? We're sending in the entirety of the first fleet and the Vancouver"
"It wasn't my decision. But the UNE can't have an unexplored wormhole next to it's homeworld, and the alliance can't let it's capital be in danger."
"With all due respect Mr. President can't we let sleeping dogs lie? We have the biggest defense fleet in the galaxy whoever comes out on the other side would have a tough time breaking us". The president's face tightened upon hearing that statement
"It doesn't end in our galaxy" he heard the general noise from the Vancouver bridge crew die down and the silence remained for a few seconds until Briggs responded.
"Understood I'll make preparations for a full-scale expedition"
Dimension 004a Segmentum Obscurus sector, Concanid system 400,000,000km from the port side of the Kaelor craft world
"Retrieve The Food For Us". The hive mind gave it's singular order and throughout the fleet, it locked on to the craft world preparing to fully devour everything it had to offer. The shadow in the warp had mutated even further to prevent the elder from fleeing.
Soon brilliant blue flashes and pulses began to emit from the beautiful ships as lances of blue light struck the first incoming wave shattering the initial assault force, but as the burning wrecks of the biomass ships began to be consumed by other ships the volley continued.
The impact began to lessen as the tidal wave of Tyranid ships began to spread out, the weapons from the defense fleet soon followed after, but the Tyranid hive fleet began to get closer every minute
Swarms thicker than smoke began to stream out of the living ships, they started to intercept shots meant for the warships making a living shield around them. With this new development the escort fleet began to send out fighters to clear a path for the barrage, this plan had been prepared for this very moment for this had been seen inevitable.
The Seers of Kaelor had foretold that they would win this battle, but how they would conquer this fleet was not revealed. Though at what cost was not revealed
War room of the Kaelor craft world
"I'm beginning to doubt your confidence in this battle Seer" Ela'Ashbel turned to face the fleet admiral who was still focused outside the window
"You would insult my powers of foresight?"
"Of course not but I worry for what cost would we win this battle, you know we cannot fight in a head-on confrontation with these beasts if your plan fails we could be cut down to handful"
"My plan is flawless all that remains of concern is your pilots abilities to complete their task". The admiral turned towards Ela'Ashbel his face still covered by his mask but his posture slightly haunched over
"While I have no doubt in your plan I still worry for all those that are lost. I don't want to know what happens if our kin's souls fall to these beasts" Ela'Ashbel decided to leave the admiral to his needless worry, The plan would work... It'd have to.
900,000,000km from the current engagement
Sarah Briggs's head hurt. It was a gnawing pain resonating in the back of her skull. Opening her eyes revealed the bridge she had been seated in before the trip.
However, the quick rest she had been given came to a screeching halt when her brain decided to stop whining and work again. As she began to assess her officers her mind kicked into gear when she saw the display in front of her.
The scene seemed painfully familiar, millions of organic ships were attacking a smaller but more standard metal fleet. The star of the show, however, was a giant bone white with red highlights ship in the vanguard of the metal fleet, it had fins? Very bulbous though with what looked to be habitats inside them.
The ship was about the size of 3-4 habitats made by the UNE but more... organic. Their enemies though made her involuntarily shiver, it was almost like looking at a cousin of the prethoryn scourge.
The scourge was one of many crises that the UNE had to face, in fact, it was the first of far too many. It had swept it's way through the covenant of Ulfram to the UNE border.
The following engagements with the vanguard fleets of the scourge were both dangerous and risky. While the UNE had pride in it's ability to handle the problem their allies were struggling, so they appointed Sarah Briggs to lead the 1st fleet to assist at the heart of the problem.
"Ma'am about the wormhole?" Sarah was brought out of her thoughts, her attention returned to the officer in front of her. He was one of the few non-organic non constructed officers in the fleet, due to the Reluctance of the Lithoid species to leave their borders.
"Report" the officer paused for a moment, confirming his calculations he turned to Sarah
"I've analyzed the wormhole and it appears to have become completely stable. It seems when the Vancouver went through the wormhole the tachyon tethers had some kind of stability effect" Sarah looked at the officer processing the information for a bit biting her lower lip in thought
"Would we be able to call for supplies and reinforcements?" The officer paused for a moment looked at his tablet
"Theoretically, but I'm unsure if we would have to tether the smaller ships to the Vancouver."
"Have a message be sent to th-" herder was caught short her tactical officer nearly shouting his report in alarm
"Multiple contacts incoming!". Sarah's eyes immediately got drawn to the holographic display, it showed what appeared to be millions of enemy fighters and boarding craft to be changing course on direct impact with the UNE fleet.
"Have the Malta and Cairo battlegroups form a vanguard around the Vancouver! I want everyone else to form a firing line, walking fortress formation!" Sarah's orders bellowed throughout the bridge with commanders and officers running about.
"Time till intercept is 47 seconds!" A Zanaami officer reported his gill flaps fluttering in panic
"Point defense and shields are up and running calculating trajectories now" the calm voice stood out to Sarah as she recognized who was speaking. Her eyes went to the edge of the holographic table with blue dots and lines moving slowly.
Before her was PAU the shipboard AI for the Vancouver. He had an orange tint to his body, With a UNE navy uniform on and his hair slightly messy she could tell PAU was stressed. "Are you able to handle it?" He scoffed
"These posers? Don't worry, they're dumb enough to run directly into a wall with their evasion skills" the admiral narrowed her eyes at him
"No joking around we want to give a good impression" in response he smirked and snapped his fingers, his calculations reaching their defences
Within moments the AA guns on every ship began to move into position as both the automated and hand-guided defensive guns on every ship pointed directly into the swarm.
The time till interception ticked down 3... 2... 1... it was a few milliseconds after that the cacophony of guns would deafen anyone who could hear in space.
Kinetic batteries hammered away salvo after salvo death into the tide with the smallest parts of the shrapnel taking out clumps of the living fighters, it's counterpart the laser point defence peppered the tide of ships and began dancing cutting away swathes like ugly lines of grass.
Within 1 minute and 27 seconds, the suicidal rush of the swarm was decimated and retreated to the other battle they would win.
Sarah was debating whether she should contact the other fleet fighting the scourge when her communications officer spoke up. "Ma'am we're being hailed by the neutral fleet" her debate was put down in favor of helping them
"Answer it" she looked down at her tablet running calculations in her head before responding to the admiral
"Well that's the problem admiral, I can't. Whatever attempt of communication they gave can't interface with ours which is a feat by itself"
"Then what do you propose we do? Ignore them?"
"Well I could rig up a holographic display on the main table, but I don't know what that could do to the operating system and it would take an hour or two" Sarah studied the battle before them. Whatever the neutral fleet was doing they were stalling, trying to buy more time with countless retreats and consolidation of forces, they needed help.
"Could we teleport aboard their ship?" This time her Tactical officer spoke up, killing the idea
"They could see that as a hostile action and capture whoever we send over," Sarah thought about both options, whatever she chose could influence how they would be perceived by this galaxy.
"Let's show them we're here to help, power up main weapons, and move to engage enemy capital ships"
War room of the Kaelor craft world
"The unknown fleet is on the move!"
"We've taken heavy casualties the fighters are pulling back"
"The Will of Khaine has been boarded!". The elder admiral was close to pulling out his hair at this point whether he had a helmet on would not stop him.
They had done damage and destroyed every major threat so far, but with every ship destroyed a hundred more takes it's place. He felt like he throwing rocks into a lake, trying to fill it up.
He spun to his port side window to see the armada of ships approaching the engagement "Farseer what do you think about our predicament" he whispered in a slightly desperate tone
"They remain silent about the fleet if that's what you're asking" the admiral whipped around to see Ela'Ashbel holding her staff tightly.
"We're taking too many losses to properly protect the craft world and our hails are being ignored" the farseer doubted for the first time in her life the accuracy of her abilities, she had been so sure of victory but in the face of the shadow of the warp her predictions turned to assumptions.
She turned to the light that produced from the advancing newcomers, every ship had a golden light that illuminated the outline that protruded through her long dead eyes. the wormhole hid behind a ship that dwarfed her craft world many times over.
She saw a small portion of the fleet break off of the main attack force and form a defensive line between the Tyranids and themselves. They don't understand what they're dealing with, she thought but unbeknownst to her, that claim would be disproven many times over.
She recognized the ships of Mon-keigh design they're blocky design remain stripped of all ornateness and curvature though, but the blue lines they traced behind them would have blinded her again with the pure density of ships.
She thought their numbers couldn't help with battle... until they fired their weapons that thought remained
If the automated defences were a cacophony of weaponry what followed was an orchestra of firepower.
The main weapons fired first. The tachyon lances excelled at destroying unshielded targets, so the Tyranid fleet was no match.
The lances simply burnt holes through the hive fleet melting any ship that was near it, the direct hits left nothing but space, they began to dance and twirl through the hive fleet dissecting and chopping them into manageable chunks for her brother.
The Giga cannons fired tungsten shells the size of Texas into the cubes that had been prepared for them, the shells plowed through ship after ship it's pure kinetic force smashing the enemy to pieces.
The following detonation of the warheads inside of them created a painting of plasma and antimatter with the swirls of color being consumed and exploded by the antimatter, this, in turn, created a typhoon of energy that reduced the hive fleet to mere splinters of its former self.
The secondary weapons pumped a wave of death into said splinters before any kind of retaliation could be mustered with both lasers and kinetic batteries blasting any ships into organic chunks in space.
The missiles had been traveling during this time and now had detonated, the black holes began to suck in entire splinters before releasing the energy in another explosion.
It was a crippling blow for the hive fleet which had begun to direct all forces to the aggressors, it was only after it realized that the main weapons had recharged that it realized it's mistake.
Hive fleet mammoth had been completely destroyed in 4:39 minutes, a new record in this galaxy.
The elder admiral and his entire retinue had not moved or said anything for a few minutes now, no one could fathom a response.
What they thought was an Imperium fleet turned into an assumption of it being a fleet from humanity's golden age, but now they thought they had seen Khaine himself leading the weaponry to their targets.
The giant flagship began to approach the craft world which in turn began to frantically bombard them with hails which remained unresponsive.
The noble asuryani were running around the bridge trying to find a way to escape, to flee from impending doom. It was only when the farseer boomed her staff against the floor silencing the room did the panic stop.
"If they wanted to capture us they would have shot our engines by now, calm yourselves" Ela'Ashbel looked at the flagship and into the winds of fate searching for answers. She saw something vague, the light emanating from the ship. It was golden and faint, with every pulse it spoke of hope and defiance in a galaxy of despair.
The farseer's mind was struck by a voice. It echoed around in her skull with the power of a hammer, and a prophecy was spoken by her goddess Isha.
"The hand that reaches out will change our fate. They have become what others have failed, and so they shall save us from the thirsting gods. Help others as they will help you and they shall welcome you into their home. A place of freedom and safety, but they are inexperienced in this place. Show them our ways, and their freedom shall bridge across dimensions"
It was only then that the glow from her eyes died down and she floated back to the ground on her knees. She felt the blood gush out of eyes, like a squished tomato.
The admiral was at her side in an instant "What did you see?" Ela'Ashbel panting from the vision looked up at him.
"When they come here, whatever you do. Help them, for it is our mother's will" and with that she drifted into unconsciousness
"We've rescued a fighter pilot from their ship, it was hit by some bioweapon that began to dissolve their left appendages. PAU is trying to analyze the anatomy of the pilot to develop a counter to the toxins it's secreting but the pilot's thrashing and panicked screams are accelerating the spread"
Both Doctor Webly and councilor H'aras ran into the medical ward to the flurry of activity in the one occupied medical bed. Surrounding him were scavenged Jas'gavas from different parts of the ship.
The reptiles were trying to use their telepathic abilities to calm down the guest, but from this distance, he could feel the strength and panic coming from the patient. He spoke in the clicks and hisses of his native tongue
"I'll handle this one, return to your posts" the assorted entourage of Jas'gavaz consisted of four marines, two workers in the hydroponic bays and an extremely panicked teacher.
As the many-limbed reptilians filed out the hold on the guest began to slip and H'aras began to focus his abilities
He began to sift through the consciousness of the patient passing by strands of memories, every one of the strands was miles long indicating a long lifespan of the creature.
He finally found the end of the most recent strand, he began to meet resistance as he tried to soothe the strand into slumber. The creature put up psychic walls and labyrinths to slow down the 1,378-year-old creature, but experience was H'aras old friend as he easily bypassed the defences of the guest.
The telepathic battle ended there as the recovered pilot was put to sleep. "I've developed a serum that should stop the spread of the- oh hello councilor" H'aras turned to face the orange hologram of PAU
"Greetings my friend, I've calmed your patient for treatment hopefully they'll refrain from waking up" PAU beamed up at H'aras who in turn simply nodded and walked off to his next appointment
Sarah stood in sickbay thirteen at the foot of her guest's bed examining him. It was shocking when they pulled off the armor to reveal something akin to elves from ancient earth mythology, the physical appearance of the pilot was stunning to say the least.
He was slender but still had some muscle on him, with long hair that was tied into a man bun. By human standards, though he had to be the most elegant and beautiful person, Sarah had ever seen. "How is he doctor?" The young doctor was sweating bullets with his glasses almost falling off his face.
Sarah smirked, she always enjoyed seeing young officers try and compose themselves around her. "The toxins h-have been removed ma-ma'am, the accelerated growth of the damaged limbs is almost finished. We're ready to w-wake him up if you wish"
PAU's orange body appeared out of the Doctor's tablet who nearly dropped it in surprise. "I've analyzed the battle net recording that we intercepted, and I believe the translator should work" and as soon as he appeared PAU left.
She nodded, and the doctor began to punch buttons into his tablet. Soon a syringe filled with a clear white liquid was procured from the wall. the doctor readjusted his glasses three times before injecting the liquid into the patient.
Almost immediately the patient's eyes opened and he sat up in the bed looking around wildly. When his eyes settled on Sarah though she saw his pupils retract to a third of their size.
"I'm Sarah Briggs, the admiral of the 1st fleet and captain of the superheavy juggernaut Vancouver. I'm representing the United Nations of Earth from the Milky Way galaxy, now I need two things from you and then I can let you go. Where are we and who did we just obliterate?"

The superheavyjuggernaut class is the apex of space. The mammoth of engineering took decades for the scientists of the UNE to even conceive the blueprints.
The original blueprints were 2 kilometers long. It's development began in 3065 with Gal'nae spearheading the project, and it was completed in 3128 with the final blueprints being given a grant and construction beginning.
The first of it's kind the Moscow was deployed for active service in 3123. The size of the ship is 40,000km around the same size of Earth but stretched out. The ship boasts over 1,200,000,000 subsystem rooms ranging from hydroponic bays to marketplaces.
The design was created to be a fully functioning society with an armament to match.
Boasting over 4,000 mega weapons and 3,500,000,000. secondary weapons it can tear through fleet after fleet if it wishes. It's minimum crew requirement is around 700,000 but can hold up to 3 billion.
Due to it's size and optimal crew requirements their numbers are in the end of the single digits within the known universe.
Currently, 8 superheavy juggernauts exist 7 of which are in possession of the cosmic alliance with 1 MIA.
"Today mortals can make planets for themselves, and make those planets sail the stars into the vast unknown" Gal'nae
