"And yet…the world keeps spinning," Heero Yuy says to himself as he watches the many televisions in front of an electronics store. Film of the earth revolving was plastered on their gleaming screens. "It's like…they forgot about five years ago."
Of course they'd forget, he thinks, of course they'd want to. Although, could they really forget all the lives lost…all the trouble and hurt that he and his allies had gone through to give these people this freedom?
He exhales and with it comes smoke. He looks at the cigarette and throws it in the snow. He really wanted to quit. 'How can I stand here and not care that nobody appreciates what I've done? I've set them free." He shakes his head. What was he thinking? This isn't the Heero he knew. It sounds like something Quatre would say, the poor thing.
"Maybe," he thinks, "I'll just forget about it too…."
Ok I know this is really short. I was just trying to right a little point on what's happening with the USA. It's like everyone's forgetting the Twin Towers and the war in Iraq and stuff. Ah well, at least I tried right? Plz?
