Good day to all you readers out there. I have decided to write my own Honkai fanfic. I'm a really big Honkai fan and I just thought I would tell my own version of the story.

For those who don't already know this, Kiana will be slightly different from the manga and game storyline. Her character will lean more towards her mothers, and she will be much smarter and a bit OP as the story progresses.

If you dont like smart abd OP Kiana I suggest you look elsewhere for a story.

This fic will also be shipping Kiana x Fu Hua. To be honest even though I heavily support this shipping, and have planned out this story for a long time, I still havent decided how I'll put these two together.

We'll just have to see as we go along.

The only characters I own in this story are my own, but main characters are still the original ones.

The honkai has existed since the beginning of time, no one knows where it came from or how it came it be, but it's intentions were very clear. To destroy all human life. The Honkai had always held a great a great hatred for all human life on earth, and would attempt to destroy humanity at all costs. The Honkai was a phenomenon capable of corrupting humans and bringing about natural disasters. One of, if not it's most dangerous attempts at destroying herrschers came from the creation of herrschers, God like beings capable of controlling the elements and bending the laws of physics to their own liking. As a result, the Honkai and Humaity engaged in an inevitable war over their own ideals and existence.

In the first, the humans had built a highly advanced society with high advanced technology. This highly advanced era were able to fight the honkai and the god-like herrschers using their highly advanced technology that gave birth to powerful warriors, known as MANTIS. The strongest of the MANTIS, known as Kevin Kaslana, was able to combat and kill the 3rd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th herrschers on his own. However, despite his overwhelming strength, Kevin, and the rest of humanity could do nothing when the final herrscher came before them. It was known as "The Herrscher of the End", and she singlehandedly broke through all of earths defenses with ease before destroying all signs of life and civilisation. The few remaining humans sealed themselves into a deep state of hibernation, for a period of over fifty-thousand years and so came the End of the first era.

Fifty-thousand years after the destruction of the first era, the survivors of the previous era awoke from their previous slumber and began to once again rebuild civilization. The Honkai however did not stop in its pursuit, as it sought to end the lives of all humans on earth.

An organisation by the name of Schicksal was the first to rise against the honkai within the modern era. The organisation first rose to power in the 5th century, it spread all over Europe by offering its protection from the honkai, before eventually spreading world wide as time went on. In the countless war against the Honkai, Schicksal had sacrificed much in order to win every war against them. Resources and every manpower were thrown into the war to make sure that humanity would survive, no matter what the cost...

The most effective combatant forces against the honkai forces were known as Valkyries, women who adapted and attuned themselves with the power of Honkai energy in order to gain superhuman abilities and used that power in their fights. The Valkyries were humanity's best hope in order to fight the honkai creatures and as the days went by their numbers woild continue to grow with recruit who were more than eager to end the threat of the honkai.

While the earliest attack of the honkai occurred in the year 2717 BC of the second era, the awakening of the 1st herrscher would not come to pass until the year 1952 CE. This awakening, called the "First Honkai Impact" would give both to the 1st Herrscher known as the "Herrscher of Reason". Schicksal was able to capture the herrscher alive. Despite Humanity's the wish of Humanity to destroy the Honkai, Schicksal's leader, Otto Apocalypse, seemed hesitant to kill the 1st herrscher. This would cause a part of Schicksal to branch off and become an organisation know as "Anti-Entropy". Both had different ways of combating the honkai.

In the year 2000, Schicksal would perform inhumane experiments on children who were resistant to honkai energy. This would be the forest cause of the 2nd Honkai eruption as one of the children who was part of the experiment, Sirin, would awaken her herrscher powers and begin attacking earth. It would take all of Schicksal to defeat Sirin. While they were successful, they would lose many of their own valkyries, including Cecilia Schariac, who was Schicksal's strongest valkyrie at the time.

It took humanity many years to recover recover from the devastation caused by the second eruption . Many cities, once thriving, became lifeless. Filled with only zombies and Honkai beasts, and even now 15 years later, there were still cities filled with beats and zombies caused by the second eruption including the one where our story begins...

Ulan-Ude: 1 December 2015 22:39

Ulan-Ude was a once thriving city in the East of Siberia, that is until the day of the second eruption. All human life in the city was destroyed, as Schicksal was too occupied with the herrscher to assist, all that remained were honkai beasts and zombies...well until four years ago that is.

The night sky was dark with the endless sparkles of stars and the bright full moon being the only light available in the city, if one was to look closer however they would see there was more activity in the city than the occasional beasts and zombies roaming the streets.

A snow haired girl could be seen leaping across the city rooftops of tall buildings, and not too far behind her a couple or zombies and archangles could be seen following not too far behind. The girl looked to be no older than 16 (turning 17 in a few days) , wore a striped blue and white t-shirt with short sleeves and a skirt that went slightly above her knees. Around her waist was a utility belt that was equipped with her basic needs and a gun holster on each side of waist, and fastened to her back was a decent sized baseball bat. This was a normal routine for the young Kaslana, after all she had been following it for about four to five years...

Ever since her father had abandoned her...

For as far back as she could remember remember, which was since the age of 11, Kiana had always grown up alone with her father, Seigfried Kaslana, in the Northern areas of Siberia. While at first their relationship was not that strong and they weren't close, he still trained her in the family kata and provided and even spoiled her but still didn't have a father-daughter bond with her, things changed when she was 10, after certain events, and her father actually began to try being...well a farther. Unfortunately about a year later or so, something happened that Kiana couldn't recall, the end result being her father abandoning her at the age of 12. She had no idea where he went or why he left her, the only thing she could remember was seeing their cabin in splinters and up in flames, her farther missing an arm and his last words to her before she lost consiousness on the day he disappeared...

"Don't worry baby doll, you aren't to blame for any of this."

The way he said those words still haunted Kiana up until this day, he had been trying to reassure her. Whatever the case, it was a dead giveaway that Kiana had been involved one way or the other. The young Kaslana had not bothered to think too much about what happened on that day, she would only further confuse herself if she began to make assumptions.

Lost on what to do, the girl had been tempted to look for her farther, but decided against it knowing that the 'old man' was pretty good at hiding when he didn't want to be found, and so she decided to travel East. A few months of traveling across land and a few cities, Kiana eventually came across the city of Chita.

The young Kaslana had hit a stroke of bad luck, as she had was running out of food and had no money to buy more food or for a place to stay for the night. While wondering the streets Kiana came across a woman and her child who were walking in the opposite direction from her, an orphanage owner commonly known as Mrs Ryuuki and her daughter Kasumi. Seeing Kiana's plight the middle aged woman offered Kiana a place to stay and food to eat, which Kiana hesitantly accepted, after all, when living the life of a wanderer you learn not to be too trusting of strangers. And so for two months the young Kaslana stayed at the orphanage, she grew close to the people there and even made some friends and had numerous admirers among the younger kids who looked up to her, but the ones she grew most attached to were none other than Kasumi, whom she saw as a sister, and Mrs Ryuuki, the closest thing Kiana had to a mother as far back as she remembered.

Alas, the time came when she decided to leave and continue her travels, it was a rather emotional goodbye considering the attachments she had made to the children and people at the orphanage. It wasn't until about five days later that Kiana came across Ulan-Ude, an abandoned city infested with honkai beasts and zombies from every corner.

Kiana had no idea where she was going at the time, but one thing she knew was that she wanted to be a valkyrie like her mother before her, and protect all that was beautiful in this world as she had promised her farther. To do that though meant she had to be strong enough to fight the honkai, she had no idea where to find the organisation named Schicksal that her father had vaguely spoke about whenever he mention her mother just as rarely, and so the only way she could grow strong was to train herself.

And so, four years ago Kiana Kalsana began to use the city of Ulan-Ude as her own personal training ground.

She would stay in the city for a period of three months, before going back to Chita for a one month period to visit the orphanage she grew to call home and restock her supplies. Overall that meant she would spend nine months in Ulan-Ude, training and strengthening herself, and spend three months in Chita each year. That was the routine that the young Kaslana had been following for the past four years, and personally she felt she had made great strides in her development. The main areas she felt her growth was her strength and speed, however she still didn't know how well she faired against other valkyries, especially in the skills department. Her farther had only taught her the basics of the Kaslana gun Kata, so the snow haired girl had to learn how to improvise and adapt using what she knew.

Today was the 1st of December, tomorrow Kiana would be making her way back to Chita for the rest of the month. It was a five day trip by foot, meaning that Kiana would get there by the 6th, a day before her birthday. As she usually did the girl was testing how far she had progressed over the passed three months, hence the horde of beasts behind her.

Coming to a halt Kiana stopped and drew her pistols as she turned to face the group of six zombies and four radicals. Stomping the roof surface with enough pressure to create spiderwebbed cracks the girl dashed towards her opponents with blinding speed. The archangels were quick to spread out as the Kaslana came in, two of the zombies each wielding a bow aimed at the Kaslana began firing flaming arrows at her, but Kiana was not slowed down one bit and fluidly dodged each areow by swaying from side to side.

The other four zombies continues their pursuit in order to clash with the girl, three of them being short with white hair and elongated claws that glowed orange, and the last zombie being rather tall with horns going up it head, a tail, wore a black outfit and had two long katana as weapons. The clawed zombies dashed ahead of the duel wielding one, with one aiming to clash with the Kaslana head on while the other two flanked from the sides. Kiana however saw this coming and as the Razor Claw in front of her raised its right claw to strike her down, the young Kaslana kept into the air successfully evading the attack. While in mid air she swiftly shot down each of the Razor Claws before they could react, it was fast and instant, they died before they even knew what hit them.

Landing on the ground a second later the Kaslana had no time to rest as the Ninja like zombie appeared before her crouched form with its blade raised high, as the blade begun it's rapid decent Kiana rolled to the right leaving the blade to strike the ground, sensing an attack from her right Kiana swiftly leapt back in time to see a archangel crashing into the spot she had previously been. Before it could pull back and recover, she swiftly put a bullet through its centre, where it's core was located.

She fired two gunshots at the zombie in front of her, but said zombie would vanish with each shot, getting closer to her everytime. As it closed into her personal space, Kiana shot forward and engaged it head on, the three archangels however zoomed in forcing Kiana to leap back once again to avoid getting pierced or slashed by their rather sharp wings. The zombie however did not stop it's assault and pressed forward, Kiana retaliated likewise. Swinging it's left blade in a diagonal strike, Kiana was quick to intercept it's arm with her right fore arm before shooting a bullet through its skull with her left hand gun. From there she made quick work of the archangels, as alone they weren't much of a threat.

However, her victory was short lived. The sounds of conflict had brought the attention of more uninvited guests, and these guys could be considered more hard core. Said company came in the form of two large honkai beasts, a Chariot and a templar, but Kiana couldn't help but smirk at the increased workout.

'I'll give myself two minutes.' The young Kaslana thought challenging herself, she set a timer on her wristwatch quickly.

The beasts landed on the rooftop of a building that was across the street from the one she was currently on, but such a distance was nothing to the Chariots. The first one unleashed a loud roar as it leapt towards Kiana's position. Kiana leapt into the air as it's large arms crashed onto the rooftop, she put her right hand gun back in its holster and grabbed the baseball bat strapped to her back. Shifting the weight of her body to speed up her descent, Kiana spiralled clockwise with her right arm out stretched and bat in hand, and with great force struck the beast directly on the head.

The force of the attack was enough to cause the Chariots legs to give away to the sudden pressure causing it to crash directly onto the surface. Some cracks formed on the spot Kiana struck, exposing the core of the beast to the Kaslana. Without a moment to waste the snow haired girl shot the exposed core with her left hand gun, killing the beast instantly.

However she had no time to rest, the only warning she received was a loud roar from above, before her entire figure was consumed in a large shadow. Instinct was the only thing that drove her to leap back a large distance as the white lance of the templar came crashing down on her previous position.

As the templar attempted to lift the lance which had lodged itself into the concrete below, Kiana ran up towards it and up the lodged lance. Once the was eye to eye with the large beast the Kaslana struck the beast with a horizontal swing to the right. Losing balance the beast toppled over in said direction with Kiana still on top of it, once it crashed into the ground the Kaslana shot a bullet right through the single eye on its head, killing it instantly. The Kaslana checked her wrist watch and was pleased with the results.

...49seconds...

It was an improvement to the one and a half minutes that she had the last time. It showed that she was improving, like she had hoped.

This was the everyday life that she had whilst in Ulan-Ude, survival and a whole lot of training. She had lost track of how many beasts she had slayed over the years, how many times she got injured while training and fighting, and how many times she had come close to never seeing the light of day. But such was the profession that she had chosen. She only hoped that one day, when she felt she was strong enough, she could find and join schicksal and truly make a difference in the war against the Honkai like her parents before her.

After all she had made a promise to her father that She would fight for all that was beautiful in this world, and even more for the people loved. She wanted her father to acknowledge her as a true Kaslana who lived up to her oath and promise, to make him proud of her.

The Kalsana turned in for the night, tomorrow she would be leaving for Chita.

And that's it for the first chapter. I know that it was a bit short...okay very short but it's the prologue what did you expect a 10k chapter. This was just meant to serve as a background story for Kiana and the whole Honkai war in case you didn't notice....so yeah Kiana didn't travel all the way down to Nagazora like in the Canon, and as a result wasn't there for the third eruption. Let's see how this affects the story in the long run. But don't worry the next chapter will be released within a week...two at most if I'm late
