It's been all over the internet recently that Ash Ketchum finally became a Pokémon Master recently, and although I don't watch the Pokémon TV show anymore, I still think it's pretty cool, so I'm going to write this story about the future of the Pokémon world, and by the way, I haven't watched Pokémon in about three years so forgive me if I get some things wrong.

When this story takes place it's been 20 years since Ash became a Pokémon Master, and for everyone else everything only seemed to get better, his friend Brock turned out to be a professional heavyweight boxer, Gary took over his Grandfathers lab, Misty became an Olympic Swimmer, Max managed to make himself into a Pokémon Professor, his sister May and their friend Dawn ended up working in KFC, but they were still happy, and God knows what happened to everyone else. Ash however, had nothing to do with his life after he achieved his goal, and over time he turned into a depressed alcoholic, and was quickly forgotten by the world, not even his friends knew what had become of him. Oh, and one more thing, Pokémon battles have become illegal now due to "animal abuse" or something.

Ash lies in his bed after another uneventful day of drinking and eating, but despite being drunk and tired, he can't get to sleep. So, he gets up, turns on his TV and cracks open a bottle of Budeweiser so he can drink himself to sleep.

"Screw my life man." he says as he flicks through the channels seeing programmes where other people his age have happy families and great jobs.

That's when he sees one channel where activists are interviewing ex-Pokémon trainers about their past and seeing if they have changed their views on Pokémon, and the man they were interviewing was none other than the Samurai guy Ash met in Viridian Forest.

"Do you regret having enslaved Pokémon in your past?" The lady who was interviewing said.

"Of course, I do, I hated training Pokémon." Samurai said.

"If you hated it so much, why did you do it?" she asked.

"I was being attacked by those slavers every day, I had no choice. I would just be minding my own business in Viridian Forest when some chumps from Pallet town would force me to battle them. There was this one boy actually, I believe Ash was his name, he attacked me with his Metapod and when I easily defeated them, he left his Metapod for dead. I tried to save the poor creature but a swarm of Beedrill got to it first, I'll never understand how one boy could be filled with so much evil."

"Asshole!" Ash yelled as he smashed the TV with his bottle. Ash could handle his life falling apart, his friends ditching him and weighing 35 stone, but he would not stand for that man publicly ruining his already tarnished reputation.

"Come on Pikachu, lets show that guy who's boss."

Pikachu, however, was also morbidly obese and couldn't stand up.

"Not this shit again." Ash says as he tied a rope around Pikachu.

After finally squeezing out the front door, their journey to beat the living shit out of Samurai had begun.

It was only after Ash had walked 0.5km he had no idea where he was going, so he decided to go to the only place he knew Samurai could be, Viridian Forest. When he arrived, he noticed it was nothing like it used to be, it was filled with houses, play parks, and there was even a water park.

"What the hell." Ash said.

His disappointment was short-lived however as he could see that each house had a sign with the homeowner's name on it. He walked along the forest reading signs for about an hour before he found what he was looking for. "Jack "Samurai" Ash" the sign read.

"Poor guy, no wonder he doesn't like to be called by his real name." Ash said to himself.

Instead of chapping on the door Ash threw a stone through a window to make sure he would be answered.

"What the hell?" Ash heard from inside the house.

"Get out here!" Ash yelled. When the door opened Ash saw Samurai in bright red pyjamas with "BADASS" written on one of the legs.

"Who the hell are you?" He asked.

"The "slaver" you were talking about on TV earlier."

"Ash? God, you look different." Samurai said.

"You still look like shit." Ash said.

"Ok listen, you're mad about what I said on TV, that's fine, but you just smashed my window so that's us even ok?"Samurai said trying to avoid a fight.

"No, it's not." Ash bellowed as he punched Samurai square in the nose.

Samurai was about to hit back but a police officer came over and broke them up. That wasn't going to stop Ash though as he shoved the officer out of the way and lunged at Samurai, he was about to break his nose when he felt a horrible pain in his back. The police officer had tased him.

When he woke up, he was inside of a jail cell, it turns out he had been charged with assault and was sentenced to 90 days in prison. Now I know what you're thinking, "How could he be sentenced to 90 days if he hasn't been to court?" Because as far as I know, nobody in Pokémon ever went to court, and as unrealistic as it may be, I can't be bothered writing out a whole court case, and I'm sure you can't be bothered reading one.

On Ash's 50th day as a jailbird, an officer came up to him while he was having breakfast.

"You have a visitor." he said as he escorted Ash to the visitor's room.

When he walked into the room, he saw none other than Gary Oak, his old rival.

"Hey Ash, how you been." He spoke.

"Never been better." Ash joked. "What brings you here anyway?" He asked.

"Just came to see an old friend. Gary told him.

"Bullshit." Ash said.

"Ok yeah, it is bullshit, you want to know the real reason I'm here?" he asked.

"What's that?" Ash asked.

"Cyrus is back, and he's more insane than last time."

"Shit."
