I'm back! I know I've been gone for a long time but I'm back. Once again Yule has corrupted me. I decided to give an anime that she's talked about since we met a try because I was bored out of my mind and was instantly hooked so I'm back to cause chaos in the world of My Hero Academia! Please enjoy! Only going to say this once because you all know obviously that I don't own anything in BNHA. I only own the plot of this story, my oc and whatever other characters I create to make things more interesting! So now that's out of the way let's get on to the story! Enjoy!

I stole an apple some time after I was born. Do you think of me when you eat crumble?

I think God probably does.

It's quite funny, really. He had the perfect world and he let me and a snake and an apple uproot it in a single day.

I opened a box they'd told me not to.

To be fair to myself, they gave me to a man

I'd never met. I'd never really met myself. (My lungs and blood and hair were clay, once.)

That box was the only sort of history I had. Wouldn't you want to know your own story?

I abandoned a daughter and a kingdom and ran away with a Trojan man.

It has been decided that I wanted to go. Even I'm not sure if I did anymore.

They sent a thousand ships and said they were for me.

(Secret: Troy was the only woman they wanted.)

The moral they intend us to take away is that women are responsible for all the evils in the world.

I'd suggest you make your own moral instead.

Mine is that a single woman can uproot

an entire world of men with the simple act

of eating an apple, opening a box, loving a prince.

No wonder they use everything they've got

to keep us soft and pliant.

The wind blew in the early morning as the sun began to rise up into the sky, coloring it soft shades of yellow, orange, and pink. Yamamoto Akane yawned as she walked towards the cafe. She couldn't quite remember why she agreed to take the early shift. As she yawned again, unlocking the front door, unaware of the dark eyes watching her from the shadows, she began setting up the cafe for the day. Customers would be filtering in before she knew it, wanting their fill of caffeine before they went to their own jobs.

The bell at the top of the door chimed as the clock struck the hour, the glass door closed behind the person as they stepped in. Akane smiled as she turned and greeted them, "Good morning, how are you?" Dark eyes met her.

"Good morning, I'm good. How are you?"

"Good, how can I help you today?"

"Um, could I please have a large coffee with extra cream and a chocolate croissant?" Akane nodded, her bright red hair moving with the motion as she did so.

"Of course!" She chirped. She moved about making the coffee, aware of the woman's eyes on her the entire time. Once the coffee was ready and she had retrieved the croissant from the display case the woman thanked her then walked to the farthest table with a view of the entire cafe and sat down.

Another customer stepped in and she promptly forgot about her as the cafe began to fill up and even her coworkers joined her. When she looked again the woman was gone. She blinked as she looked around, swearing she could still feel those eyes on her but the woman was nowhere to be seen. Her eyebrows furrowed but she turned to the next customer instead, attempting to shrug it off.

Later when she was wiping off the unoccupied tables she noticed a piece of paper sitting abandoned on one of them. She picked it up, her eyes scanning across the lines as she tried to make sense of it.

"Hammer Space, Kitsune..." She trailed off, unable to read the scratched out scribbles. "What an odd list. It reads almost like a grocery list but..." Her train of thought changed abruptly as a customer called for her attention.

"Hey Akane," Chihiro, her coworker who had joined her a few hours after the strange woman had vanished, called out as she pulled on her coat, "could you please toss the garbage in the dumpster on your way out please?"

"Sure, I can do this one last thing!" Akane smiled cheerfully as she finished tying her belt, cinching her coat closed against the nippy spring air.

Akane exited through the back door, pausing to toss the bag into the dumpster before turning down the alleyway towards the main road.

"Excuse me" A vaguely familiar voice called out behind her. Akane turned, mouth opening to answer but never got the chance. Familiar dark eyes being the last thing she saw.

The girl shuddered for a moment as she settled in. Then slowly she reached inward. Her quirk popped up first. A hair quirk. Slowly she experimented, moving one pig tail at a time until she could move both at the same time independently of each other.

"Well that's nifty." She hummed to herself. Pulling her phone from her purse she reached into her mind for the pass code that was required as soon as she opened it. "4...9...9...1." She muttered as she punched it in. "Now to get down to business." Walking towards the main road she scrolled through the phone until she had added a dating app to it. The profile was easy enough to create, all the information she needed, in her head. She entered the information and then began swiping through the offered profiles. Finding the one she'd been searching for she opened up a chat. "Hi, I'm Yamamoto Akane! I like meeting new people, hearing stories, and talking about quirks and superheroes! I saw your profile and just had to message you. I'd love to meet up and get to know you!" After reading it once over she hit send.

Her phone dinged with a message not even ten minutes later. A grin split her face as she looked at it, almost laughing out loud. She waited a moment or two then sent her reply.

She straightened the skirt of the dress once more as best she could with one hand as they walked down the dimly illuminated street, her other arm wrapped around the man's as he guided her.

"Thank you so much, I had such a great time with you, Ito-san!" She giggled.

"Of course, Yamamoto-san," he smiled at her easily, "I did as well. I was delighted when you messaged me on the dating app. An exact match for what I was searching for. I was nervous at first, my job can attract some really odd people but you're wonderful."

"People will always be fascinated by quirks, that fact that you work for the government in its quirks department is really great. I think it's a fantastic way to help people even if you don't have the right quirk to be a superhero you're still a hero in my book!" The man blushed at her words, his smile growing wider.

"You truly are wonderful Yamamoto Akane. May I see you again?" He asked as they turned onto her street.

"Of course! I'd be heartbroken if we didn't! To be honest I was worried the dress was too much." She dropped her gaze to the ground as his eyes raked up and down her form, taking in the tight bright red dress that matched her hair.

"Not at all, I think it's lovely."

The two walked to Akane's apartment continuing to make small talk and plans for the next date. Akane kissed him goodbye at the door and stepped into her apartment.

Immediately kicking off her heels she went to the fridge and pulled out leftovers and popped them in the microwave. Going straight to her bedroom Akane fainted, falling face first into the bed.

"Sorry about hijacking you like that but like he said, you were perfect." The dark eyed girl spoke, the red fox ears atop her head twitched and she turned and walked out. Stopping the microwave before it beeped she grabbed the food and stepped out of the apartment, locking it behind her as she did so.

The girl moved down the street, chewing on the leftover takoyaki, her ears twitching as she listened in on the conversation going on just ahead of her as Ito Akihiko recounted the perfect date he'd just been on to somebody over the phone. She kept a steady pace, eyes searching around for any heroes who would pick up on her stalking her prey but saw none as she popped the last piece of the takoyaki in her mouth. She felt no shame licking her fingers when it was all gone. Her nose morphed, shaping itself more into a snout before sniffing the air but found no scents worthy of causing alarm.

A loud crash filled the air and two new scents entered her nose. One of which would be a problem. Ahead of her Ito Akihiko picked up his pace, running towards the sound. The dark eyed girl followed suit.

There in the middle of the street All Might trades blows with a villain that seemed to be able to dissipate their body at will. The Symbol of Peace seemed to be getting a bit frustrated but the villain also struggled to keep their newly acquired loot safe.

"Yeah it's All Might! He's fighting again!" Akihiko answered the question of whoever was on the phone. The girl frowned for a second, eyeing the hero as he shouted at the villain, demanding that they return the stolen goods and surrender. "I'll call you back later, it's too loud here and I can't miss this!" Akihiko hung up the phone, eyes glued to the fight. The girl inched closer to Akihiko as the fight progressed until she stood just behind him, watching All Might over his shoulder.

"Texas Smash!" The wind whipped around and clouds formed in the sky immediately. The girl stepped into Ito Akihiko. He shuddered for a moment then went still. Rain began to fall from the sky as All Might caught both the defeated villain and the bag of stolen goods. All around the civilians clapped except for one who began making their way in the opposite direction.

"Ito-san?" The security guard jumped to his feet, trying to pretend that he hadn't been slacking off. "What brings you back to the office so late? Is everything okay?"

"Of course," a pause, waiting for the man's name to filter in, then begins to dig for it till it appeared, "Haruno-san. I merely forgot to print a list that I'll need for later. I figured since I was out I might as well swing by and grab it rather than have to come in early tomorrow. It gives me time to familiarize myself with it. Thanks for all your hard work!" Akihiko smiled cheerfully and continued on to his office.

The passwords and security questions were ridiculously easy, used everyday and hardly buried in everything else in the man's mind. Fingers flew across the keyboard, opening file after file in search of the quarry.

"Come on, come on, there's got to be some kind of list here. Nobody would be that disorganized." Eyes flicked to the small numbers in the bottom corner of the screen. Time was running out. Rubbing tired eyes, a new search item entered and then deleted when it yielded similar results as the last ones. Over and over, search after search, none of them yielding the wanted results. "Fine, we'll just do this the hard way."

Hours later Ito Akihiko walked out of his office, a huge stack of papers stuffed under his arm. He waved at the guard once more and then left the building. He made it all the way to the park before having to sit down on a bench. Setting the papers down he messaged his eyes.

"Damn it," the girl stepped out of his body and sunk to her knees, rubbing her fingers into the bridge of her human nose. "I need to get back." Above her the sky began to lighten and she knew the sun would not be far off. Forcing herself to her feet, she grabbed the stack of papers and ran.

Locked in the safety of her room, the dark eyed girl began to sort through the stack of papers now sitting on her desk with an array of different colored pens in different states of use spread out over it, trying to ignore the pain settling behind her eyes. Currently a red pen dangled between pale lithe fingers as she read through the pile, marking off each name after noting the quirk listed with it. Scratching the red pen through the name she tossed the paper into a growing pile of others also marked with red before turning her eyes to the next one. They flicked from the name to the address to the quirk. Healing. Her eyes returned to the address only to frown. Capping the red pen she traded it for the orange pen. She marked it with orange, circling the quirk but underlining the address before moving it to a different pile than all the red marked pages.

She pulled the next one over her eyes flitting across the name: Miyazaki Kazuki then jumped to the quirk: Soothsayer. Her eyes grew steadily wider as she read the information on the quirk. Her fingers snapped up the blue pen until she saw the address. She frowned and grabbed the purple pen instead. Scribbling under the name and quirk multiple times. She set the paper aside.

She picked up the next paper only to rub her eyes repeatedly when the words began to blur together. She tried again but gave up, resting her head against the desk, moaning slightly at the throbbing pain behind her eyes.

"I just need to get through these last ones. Come on, you can do it." She told herself picking up her pen again.

Her teal phone rang, the sound cutting through the quiet night. She scrambled for it before it wok the rest of the house occupants.

"Hello?"

"I've been calling you for hours! Did you get in trouble? I had to bail after dinner because I was running low." Her friend cried through the phone.

"Sorry I went from one body to another. Didn't stay on my own long enough to check my phone. Thanks for buying me time. I appreciate it. It took me longer than I thought."

"Well if she suspected anything she didn't say anything all day or at dinner. Your little brother definitely didn't."

"Yeah," she sighed, "he's kinda oblivious." The girl leaned back in her chair, "oh to be young again."

"You talk like we're old!"

"Sometimes I feel old."

"I can't wait to see what you're like when you're 40!" Snickered her friend.

"Puh-lease! Like either of us are going to live that long. You're gonna get in a knife fight and be stabbed to death well before you're 40. That whole stabbing people thing."

"I just want their pretty blood!" She whined. "Besides you keep mouthing off to everyone and one day you're gonna do it to the wrong person," she cackled.

"Like I said, neither of us will make it to 40 so why not enjoy it while we're here. Anyway I found something good," she picked up the single paper marked in purple.

"But..." Her friend prompted.

"But it's on the other side of Japan. Could you cover for me again?"

"Again?" Her friend complained.

"Please! This could change everything! Please! The things I could use with that quirk."

"You'd have to let me refill. I'm out. I used it all up covering for you today. You were gone all day."

"I know, trust me, I know." She massaged her aching head. "What time can you get here? I'll leave the window open." There was silence over the phone and she tried again, "Do you want to sleep here? Rather than wander around looking for somewhere to stay."

"What about your mom? How will you explain?"

"She leaves for work early in the morning, she doesn't check on me anymore. It's fine. Just circle back. I'll see you shortly." She hung up the phone and walked over to her window. She pushed it open, settling in the sill to enjoy the cooling air.

The alarm went off before either girl was ready. It blared loudly promoting one to jab the other in the side. The dark eyed girl groaned but her friend merely did it again.

"Your alarm is going off. Fix it."

"If the alarm is going off that means we need to get up."

"But I don't want to." She whined.

"I don't either but we can't get caught or we'll both be in trouble. That whole illegal quirk use."

"Who's idea was that?"

"Beats me." The dark eyed girl crawled out of bed, dragging the blonde with her to turn the blaring alarm off, paying little mind to her friend hanging off her waist complaining about it being too early.

The two girls got ready for the day but neither changed out of their pajamas.

"Are you ready?" The dark eyed girl asked, turning to the blonde.

"Yeah, you sure you can handle giving me more? I don't wanna kill you unless it's on purpose!"

"Gee, thanks. Feeling the love." She deadpanned at her friend before pulling her long hair over her shoulder, exposing her neck.

"Happy to give it." She threw her arms around her friend's neck and pulled her close, sinking her teeth into the pulsing vein. The dark eyed girl winced slightly as the teeth punctured her skin but held still as the blood spilled into the blonde's mouth.

Soon two identical dark eyed girls stood in the room, only differentiated by the clothes they wore. Quickly they dressed and one jumped out the window and the other went to wake the little boy and get him ready for school.

With the paper scribbled on in purple tucked safely in her pocket the dark eyed girl hopped onto the train, her ticket in hand. She settled in for the long ride across Japan.

A crowd gathered around the TV as the newscaster spoke, "In other news Miyazaki Kazuki, 28 years old, was found today unconscious in her own home. Miyazaki-san lived alone and although her medical records indicate a quirk from the time she was five years old she claims that she's never had a quirk and after attempting to use it to prove so nothing happened. Doctors and quirk specialists alike are baffled at how not only could a quirk disappear but for the owner to not even know that they had one. Police have opened a tip line and encouraged anyone who has any information regarding these bizarre events to come forward." The newscaster set his papers down and turned to his co-host. "I tell you what, I've never heard of anything like it! What about you Tsumi-san?"

"Neither I! To be honest it frightens me that something as personal as our quirk could be taken from us and we'd never know. I can't imagine any single woman feels safe at the moment."

"Exactly!" The male newscaster smacked the table causing Tsumi to jump slightly. "And where were all of our heroes? They're paid obscene amounts of money by the government to protect us but nobody was protecting Miyazaki-san and now her quirk could be gone forever."

At the back of the crowd a tall man with wild blond hair swept back except for two loose strands hanging in his face. He watched the news with a frown. His phone dinged and he pulled it out. His eyes narrowed at the message and continued on his way. It couldn't be him...right? No. That was impossible.

The girl climbed back in through her window. Smiled at the text from her blonde friend and sent one back. Plugging her phone in, she walked over to the small black cat curled up on the bed, still messy from when the two had climbed out, neither bothering to make it before they left, scratching the cat behind her ear. The cat opened one eye, purred and then went back to sleep.

"Hey, Doom Kitty, move over and let me have some of the bed." The cat meowed, the golden bell attached to its red collar catching the dim light of the moonlight drifting in through the open window. The cat ignored her so she simply kicked off her shoes, picked up the cat, moving her over and curled up in bed. "We're running low on groceries and could use some cold hard cash. What do you think Doom Kitty, tomorrow should we hit the casinos?" She pet the cat sleepily as her eyes closed.

"Breaking news the Yamanaka Casino is closing for good after a customer put the casino in debt with an extraordinary string of good luck!" A man with messy dark hair stopped and turned to the TV. He arched an eyebrow at it.

"Well that's interesting. Perhaps somebody should look into that."

"Somebody should look into what?" A voice called from the other room.

"A customer put a casino out of business after they won everything I guess." The dark haired man answered as his cellphone rang. "Good evening, Detective Tsukauchi, how can I help you?" He paused to listen for a moment. "Something going on with the casinos? Sure, I'll look into it tomorrow."

Well that's all for this chapter! I hope you like it! Let me know what you think has happened and what will come next! I'll update as soon as I have the next chapter done! Shouldn't be too long but who knows! Cheshire out~!
