My Legacy
Chapter 1
Severus finished tidying up, making quick work of it. He would be soon having guests in his home for the first time in a year. Talin could no longer be considered a 'guest' nor do his children. Sighing softly, Severus stood outside of his sons' bedroom, hand on the handle of the door deep in thought. He couldn't believe that Harry was already set to marry, it felt like only yesterday he was taking his first steps right here in this house. Where he had learned the truth of his past and not held it against him. Where here in St. Lucia where he had exposed Bathurst for the crooked old fool that he was.

"I should never have let them into my son's life," Severus stated firmly, lips pursed in frustration and anger. His self-recrimination leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. "I should have known they'd let him down." gritting his teeth in sheer agitation. He couldn't believe he'd had to lock up Lupin and Black's memories of their knowledge and his son. Harry had deserved better; he was bloody gutted over what those two had done. So much so that he'd had to give him a sleeping draught in his tea to let him rest on their return journey to St. Lucia.
Talin having heard every variation of this for the last ten hours, gave no indication of irritation or annoyance. He was merely a listening ear to Severus' anger. He felt quite befuddled himself, he hadn't expected them to take the ultimatum and practically spit in Harry's face. It was the first time Harry had suffered through such a horrid rejection. The nearly dying at the Dursley's was an abstract feeling, not a real one, it wasn't real. So yes, this was the first time he'd experienced such pain. "I cannot conceive doing the same thing, it's such a despicable thing to do." He'd heard a lot about Remus and Sirius, Severus had admitted to bad blood between them and him being slightly biased due to being childhood enemies. Now he believed the full extent of it.
"They've always been impulsive, correction Black always has, but to this extent with Lupin going along with it? Foolish idiots." Severus sneered, clenching his hands into fists, the urge to go back and beat some sense into them. Jarring a little when he felt his stomach swoop a little, as they begun to descend. "We're here already?" glancing at the time, mentally calculating how long they'd been in the air surprised.
"We are," Talin murmured, "Shall we remain in the cabin for the evening or shall we venture into the school?"
"Let them rest," Severus murmured, rubbing his face, tiredness and stress making him very out of sorts.
Talin moved to the window and glanced out, but could see nothing but light twinkling in the distance, "Ten minutes from the ground," he commented, flicking his wand, his magic waved over the entire cabin and its people. The magic making sure that nothing would fall or jar upon their descent. He sighed, as he moved to sit down, pouring them both a coffee, and handing one to Severus. He'd had two shots of Whiskey and he needed something to sober him up a bit.
"There's little doubt Jay at a few of their fellow classmates will be waiting on them," Severus said lips twitching into a fond smile. He'd made a very good decision to help Jay and his mother Rowena. He'd proved to be well worth the money he'd given the school for his education. He would naturally, help someone else – he had the money so why not help those in need? – once Jay has graduated this year. Not that Rowena needed help anymore but it didn't stop him giving it all the same. "And Tali." It was her entire family that had been gone, not just a son, or daughter.
"Oh, undoubtedly," Talin said fondly, "Oddly enough, when I attempted to call her, she didn't pick up." Not worried yet, but nonetheless found it a little peculiar. She was busy though, she had continued her education, higher education while he was away, and added to that working as well.
"Isn't she working on Monday's?" Severus queried, familiar with her schedule, not only had the two families basically combined into one big family, Severus had always been there when Talin spoke to his daughter.
"Her schedule changed last week, it's Wednesday, Thursday and Friday now," Talin replied, "I must admit I am happier to be home even if this entire year has been…educational." He'd missed his daughter something fierce, it just wasn't the same talking over the mirror, and yes, he knew she was an adult, and he'd likely see less of her when he was back here, that was life such as it is.
Severus nodded his understanding, recalling that conversation, he had quite forgotten that titbit.
"There's someone else more excited than us," Severus added smirking wryly, glancing at the empty dog bed, which Luna had used when they were eating. Naturally she wasn't there, she was as she often was, attached to Harry's side.
Talin chuckled, "Indeed," he murmured, using Severus' preferred words back at him. His stomach swooping again as they dipped in altitude swiftly. Setting his coffee aside, deciding it was perhaps best not to drink at the moment. Between the alcohol and the coffee, his stomach was feeling a little delicate as it was without the altitude coming into it.
Talin, it turned out was wrong, it took fifteen minutes for them to land as gracefully as one could. The floodlights from the school were on full blast, they'd dismounted onto the Quidditch pitch. Talin and Severus listened, and they couldn't hear anything from the students. They must have slept through the landing. It was likely for the best, it was dark, and it would be bothersome getting them all back into the school for only a few hours. Best let them sleep here, "You should turn in." he should too, he thought, as he levitated the glasses and cups into the sink, and another spell later they began to wash themselves, before floating over to the rack to dry.
"Agreed," Severus yawned, tomorrow was going to be difficult, he had to be the grown up and couldn't call Black all the names under the sun. Which he dearly would like to do. Oh, well, no matter, he had likely annoyed Talin to no end with his complaining. "Good evening, sleep well." Severus was just standing when the door knocked, both turned to each other and smirked ruefully. "Jay?"
"Tali," Talin deduced, both of them curious to see which one was correct, Talin stood and moved to the door and opened it. His delight in being right, "Tali!" he made a move to hug her, but she brushed past him acting very frazzled.
"Bathurst has been working with Dumbledore to sabotage GRMS," she told them, arms full of information, which she dropped onto the table.
Severus' eyebrows rose, "Where would you get that idea? And why?" watching her intently, not doubting her word for a second. None of their children were liars or jokers, and this situation could have been firmly planted in either category.
"The boys didn't tell you?" Tali rolled her eyes, "Boys," she said in exasperation. Then again, they had just a hunch, it hadn't been a sure thing until she'd found the payload of documents in his office. "It was just a hunch for a while, a very strong suspicion, but this confirmed it all."
"Wait, stop, what did the boys ask you to do?" Talin asked overwhelmed, noticing the invisibility cloak under his daughter's arm and glancing up at Severus.
"When did you get that?" Severus questioned; he was pretty sure Harry had brought it with him…but perhaps not.
"Harry gave me it," Tali explained, "He thought perhaps the Durmstrang Headmaster was in on it, but if he was, I couldn't find anything but I did find information between him and Dumbledore." Well aware that Dumbledore had been killed, kidnapped and killed. Talin and Severus had discussed the going ons with her. Worried she might hear something from someone else and think the worst or get the wrong end of the stick. Both things were possible and Talin wished to curtail such assumptions.
Severus frowned, reclaiming a seat, he began to pick up the copied documents and look through them. It did not paint a pretty picture at all, Dumbledore – and he knew it was Dumbledore even after all these years he recognized the old fools handwriting – pretty sickened by what he was reading.
Inhaling sharply, "He was attempting to kill my son," Severus muttered, heart sinking as he read the missive. To read this was…just so horrendous really. Dumbledore had outright planned to end Harry's life, and Bathurst had actually known and done nothing. "I…am not sure if we should come forward with this information."
Talin looked outraged, "Why?" everyone deserved to know, this wizard nor Dumbledore – even posthumously – should get away with this.
"This one reveals a suspicion that Harrison Regis was the Dark Lord Voldemort's illegitimate son," Severus stated, sliding the particular letter over. "No, not suspicion the assumption, Merlin forbid that he ever consider the possibility of being wrong." An ugly sneer crossing his features, he hated Britain, he hated Dumbledore, he hated the idiotic wars. Without Dumbledore all he can do is hope that it didn't last long at all.
Talin's outrage turned into concern, as he accepted the parchment, "How often is it mentioned?"
"Only once," Tali explained, shrugging her shoulders, "I'm not sure I copied everything but all things relevant to the sabotage is mentioned." She'd been over everything, and put them into three separate bundles, which her father and Septimus had sort of ruined, but luckily, she'd also put a blue dot, green dots and red dots for each category. She was very organized; she didn't need anyone to tell her as such.
"How could anyone be stupid enough to leave this lying around where it can be found?" Talin asked incredulously. His daughter wasn't someone who could get into places that were locked down after all.
"Where did you find it?" Severus asked, his tone pensive.
"Bathurst's desk," Tali confessed, brow wrinkling, "The fire alarm went off." She added innocently, too innocent as a matter of fact.
"Which would disable all spells except the ones vital to protecting everything in the building," Severus commented, "I must admit, I am deeply impressed, Tali." He was a Slytherin so it was no surprise really to admire someone's craftiness.
"Septimus!" Talin groaned dramatically, "She does not need any encouragement. If you were caught it would have cost you everything, your career, possibly even your freedom. Darling, please promise me you won't do anything like this again." Thinking only of what could have happened.
"Well, there is that," Severus replied, "Nobody saw or heard you?"
"No, I had the cloak on." Tali reassured them.
"Yes, and we'd need a way to explain how we got our hands on these," Severus commented, tapping at the paperwork. "Anonymous owl? Or shall we send it to them anonymously?"
"If we send it in, we risk them doing nothing." Talin stated after a few seconds' pause.
"True," Severus agreed, "Then from now on, it was on your desk when we returned." It wasn't as if they would be interrogated, and if they were, they didn't have probable cause to force it with Veritaserum.
"I'll put it on your desk then, shall I?" Tali commented with a wicked grin, delighting in the adventure she'd just had. "But I do want to see Ale and Jaden!" she'd missed her younger brothers something fierce, and boy was that weird to say. They were her annoying younger brothers; she'd always been there throughout their lives. This was the first time she'd been away from them so long, and that time was nearly a whole year!
Severus laughed, "Do try not to give your father any grey hairs, you've enjoyed yourself far too much for his taste." He whispered to her, before squeezing her shoulder.
Tali threw back her head and laughed, delighting in it, and yes, too much for her father likely. "I'll try," she said dryly, "I'll have the House-elves bring you something to eat." She added, taking all the documents from the table, and flouncing off dramatically.
"Did that just happen?" he asked Severus, still reeling, how could this man, this once-headmaster attempt to kill a child? It was behind Talin's comprehension, and to think there were others in on it? "How many others are in on this, Septimus? What if someone comes after him and we are blindsided?" Harry was like a third son to him, he'd grown up alongside his boys and Harry thought of Tali and the boys as siblings, the ribbing and teasing and care they cared for one another.
Severus felt his stomach shrink, the urge to take Harry and run, to protect him from every possible threat. He'd already done that, he thought. It might make him wrong or bad but he'd been so relieved when he heard Dumbledore was killed. He would certainly do far worse to protect his child. "I am not sure." He confessed, he really wasn't sure, and his son would not wish to run away not from everything he'd ever known.
"We'll give these to the Aurors, they will do their job unlike the British counter-parts, a single simple blood test would reveal that he isn't the Dark Lord's son if it comes to it. We can even ask for their silence on the matter." Talin mused thoughtfully, anything to get this situation sorted. "I can take it to Kane, he knows us well, he wouldn't even question Harry's paternity."
Severus straightened, "That is a good idea," Kane had been in charge of the case that seen his son nearly kidnapped with his friend. Thank Merlin for Luna, although between Harry's magic acting up, he had stood no chance. He'd coordinated everything, and kept him up to date, very professional. Better yet he wasn't a gossip, if anyone attempted to get information from him would have better luck talking to a brick wall. The journalists knew better than to even try.
"We will have to wait, I believe he's working day shift," Talin stated, far clearer headed than Septimus, who had gone through several small traumas in the past few days. Whether he liked Black or Lupin was redundant, having to lock their memories will have been difficult. "For now, rest, you need it." They both did for tomorrow was going to be far busier than either had anticipated, between the parents collecting their kids, and him getting the Aurors involved and making sure the school had been looked after adequately.
Severus nodded wordlessly in agreement.
"Don't worry, nobody can get into the cabin anymore than they could while it was at Hogwarts." He added in reassurance as Severus moved towards his and his sons' room within the cabin. The children were all sleeping through their arrival, no doubt they'd be rather disappointed but it was best for them to get some rest.
Severus' shoulders relaxed at that proclamation, it meant for tonight at least they were safe. Merlin only knows who was out there with a desire to kill his son because of Dumbledore's mistaken impression that he was the Dark Lord's son. He'd been foolish not to realize Dumbledore still had his connections, foolish not to think for a second he'd confide in someone.
12.35 PM St. Lucia the next day
Knock, knock.
"Ah, Kane, please, come in, oh I do apologise Auror Smith do come in," Talin said, giving Kane an apologetic smile, happy to see him nonetheless. "I'm assuming the gift I have for you will need to wait for later?" he added in a teasing voice, he'd bought little gifts for those he cared about while in Diagon Alley.
"It will," Kane said smiling in gratitude that Talin was keeping it formal, he much appreciated it. "Now, how can I help you?"
"Have you heard about Albus Dumbledore's death?" Talin asked, preparing himself for what was to come.
A befuddled but contemplative look appeared on his face at that, "I've heard, yes, one of my Aurors have cousins in Britain." A lot of families had fled Britain when faced with another war so soon after Gellert Grindelwald reign of terror. "They seem rather relieved that he has died." Not his men, no, his men's cousin, his family living in Britain.
"We feel much the same, we believe Dumbledore had attempted to kill Harry, no proof unfortunately, but we do have proof he attempted to make it so that Harry couldn't have children with a rather painful spell aimed at him during one of the tournament trials." Talin explained to the straightening Auror.
"Is he alright?" Kane asked, aghast. This Dumbledore was what? Over a hundred years old, why on earth would he be attempting to kill a child? And yes, he was a child, at least until he reached his birthday at any rate.
"He's fine, thank you," Severus revealed.
Kane sighed in relief, "That's good to hear, Septimus, the spell did not connect against Harrison?"
"It did not, thankfully, my son has expressed a desire to have a family." Severus answered, it was just abstractly at the moment, but still, it meant a lot.
"Since he's dead I suspect that it's not the reason I am here today," Kane said, giving both of them pensive glances.
"In conjuncture with it," Severus replied, "I'll let Talin reveal it since he was the one who got the missives to begin with." which was true, Tali had come to her father and him.
Talin glanced up at Severus unamused, arching a brow, "Thank you," sarcasm oozed from the word.
Severus merely smirked, both knew each other so well, all their secrets, neither were truly upset.
"After I had handed off my students to their parents or guardians, I returned to my office, and found this bundle on top of my correspondence pile." Talin said, pressing his hand down on it. "It appears to be letters between Albus Dumbledore and Bathurst, a British wizard in the International Confederation of Wizards."
Kane narrowed his eyes, "And this Bathurst is a danger I assume?" writing everything down that might be pertinent to the case.
"He may well be, unfortunately, I don't know." Severus spoke this time, "Dumbledore believed my son to be the son of the former Dark Lord Voldemort who was vanquished before being resurrected…I am unsure if you're aware…"
"I am aware, my Auror likes to talk about everything." His tone dry and amused. "The resurrection ritual?"
"Indeed," Severus replied, pinching the bridge of his nose. "We have no idea how many people Dumbledore may have revealed his stupid idea to. I have no idea who may be coming after my son on the mistaken impression he's Voldemort's child." Nostril flaring and teeth grinding painfully.
"That's not all," Talin commented, "There's information pertaining to sabotage,"
"Sabotage what?" Kane enquired.
"The Quadwizard tournament, they didn't want my son winning for GRMS," Severus said bitterly, "We didn't see any other sign of someone's involvement but we believe that Karkaroff was involved as well but in a much smaller extent. Unfortunately, he's on the run, he left his students stranded in Britain but the Aurors ensured their safe trip home."
Kane stepped forward, "May I?" removing an evidence bag, he used his magic – once he had their approval – to place the evidence inside and seal it closed. Nobody that wasn't him would be able to open it.
"You say he was attempting to sabotage the tournament?" Kane said thoughtfully, as he put the bag away in his pocket, easily fitting as if it were the right size. "Magic may well be punishing him itself."
"I hope not, at least not in any fatal way," Severus confessed quietly, "Since we would have no way of knowing any possible contacts that Dumbledore might have told."
"No, the usual punishment is losing one's magic, it's ancient magic, powerful, I would honestly say it's magic that the gods would wonder at." Kane said reverentially. "I'll get through this, talk to Bathurst."
"They are clearly copies, the real ones…well, one would keep them in the most secure place one could think." Severus manipulated the Auror, it was a shame, he didn't like doing it, but to protect them all he would. He was not going to see Tali getting in trouble for breaking and entering an international confederation owned building. "ICW building right here in St. Lucia."
"Or his home," Talin nodded.
Kane stared at them both, "One just might," giving them a look that suggested he wasn't buying their innocence, the suggestion was definitely meant to make him want to check there. Considering neither of them had been here for it to happen, it was clear they hadn't done it but they were protecting the perpetrator. "Make sure it never happens again." He added, serious and grim. He didn't want to know more, and they wouldn't tell him, they knew him well enough to know he'd bring them in regardless of who they were.
Talin gave a very subtle incline of his head, Severus merely blinked as he stared at the Auror.
There was nothing Severus wouldn't do for his son.
"I'll keep you updated." Kane stated firmly.
"Thank you, Auror Smith, you have my thanks." Talin replied, "Come by after your shift, I'll have your favourite Whiskey on hand."
"Bet on it," Auror Smith agreed, and with that he walked out of the door leaving Severus and Talin in silence.
Both were worried when they should be celebrating, and many of the professors at the school were hosting a celebration this evening in honour of Harry.
Win or lose, he'd competed, and came second, it meant something.
Auror Smith did not show up that night, he didn't make an appearance for two days.
"Morning, Miss. Addison, may I speak to your father?" Kane asked of Talin's eldest, his tone grim but polite when the door was opened.
Tali blinked, staring owlishly at the Auror, before talking, "Sure, he's having breakfast, Septimus and Harry are here." Along with her brothers naturally, although Harry would be gone soon to take the beginning of his exams. She wished him luck, they were very hard, she could recall her own and her brother's exhaustion by the time they were over with. Harrison had stayed over and Severus had come by for breakfast.
Kane smiled, removing his hat as he brushed his feet on the mat before entering Talin's home.
"Dad, Auror Smith is here!" she called out but instead of going into the living room she grabbed her small sparkly bag from the hook, "Bye!" and with that she was gone, Auror Smith had been in the Addison residence many times, not for official purposes unless it was regarding one of his students.
"Good morning, have you had breakfast yet?" Talin asked, eyeing the Auror with concern, he looked as if he'd gone months without sleeping properly in just a few days.
Kane looked at the food and his stomach growled something fiercely. "No thank you," he said despite every protest in his body.
"Sit down, and have some breakfast, and tell us why you're here, no bribery, just good manners." Talin stated, summoning a plate for the wizard, setting it at the other side from them. Giving a look to his sons to go do whatever they wished but leave them to it.
"Do you wish for me to accompany you to the school?" Severus asked his son.
"No, thank you, I'll go on my own," Harry said, "I'm ready!" picking up his plate he put it in the sink and called a quick goodbye. He grabbed his bookbag which he had been using last night to get some last-minute revisions done with the help of Ale and Jaden. His other friends were spending much needed time with their family after being gone nearly a year so he hadn't had a chance to meet up with them yet. It had only been two full days after all, he'd seen them the morning they all left the cabin.
Kane gratefully sat and ate his first full – home cooked – meal since Septimus and Talin had given him that information three days ago. Talin ate with him, but Severus stood and put his own plate in the sink on top of his sons. He was rather concerned, by the Aurors appearance, it didn't bode well at all. Kane had always been very dedicated at his job, to see him like this meant it was a bigger case than he had fathomed.
"Do I need to get protection for my son?" Severus asked with a worried frown upon his features.
Kane swallowed the bite of food, wiping his face with a paper napkin, "I honestly, don't know." He confessed, and it was important to know that if he believed for a moment then he would have agreed. Especially knowing that Regis had more money than he'd ever need, the books he'd brought out, the potions, he was well off.
Severus sat back down, the urge to demand more was strong, but he was not going to antagonise Kane. Hopefully they'd know soon enough, and luckily, he was almost through his food. He reached out and poured them all a coffee, only half was left in one cup and Severus had that one, the full ones he gave to Talin and Kane.
Once Kane was finished and had wiped himself of any grease, he pulled the cup towards him and inhaled softly. "I received a search warrant for both the ICW property and his home address. We found a lot more correspondence than what was sent to you." He informed them, drinking deeply from the coffee delighting in the taste. He'd been drinking disgusting coffee in the auror department it was better than nothing though. "You were quite right, Karkaroff was part of it, he will be arrested for his part in it."
"So, Bathurst has been arrested?" Severus deduced.
"He has, with more reasons becoming apparent the further we dig into his actions." Kane grimaced.
"And my son?" Severus asked, stomach twisting uncomfortably. It had been difficult to stay away from him even knowing he was with Talin and he'd protect him. He had managed to get some rest, before coming here this morning but not as much as he'd have liked.
"He isn't a threat to your son judging by the letters, it was more about sabotaging him to prevent him from winning. If it became a fatal accident, this is a direct quote, he wouldn't mind at all." Kane replied, "I am going to try and see to it that he's remanded until his trial, but I am not sure whether I'll succeed." He explained to the pair trying to remain professional. Rushing to add, "If he is let out, I will make sure that an Auror is assigned to your son for protection."
"Thank you," Severus answered relief apparent on his features.
"You're most welcome, Mr. Regis," Kane replied, "I have a brother the same age, and despite their age I do consider them still children."
Severus chuckled, nodding in confirmation, "Same."
A clatter sound caused all of them to startle to a certain degree.
"That must be the newspaper, it's rather late today, by at least an hour or so," Talin said in surprise, flicking his wand he summoned the paper from the flute.
"Thank you for the wonderful meal, but I do need to return to work, please excuse me," he said, standing up, inclining his head in thanks.
"Would you like some coffee to take with you?" Talin asked, "I have a travel mug." Which remains hot for up to twelve hours, giving the wizard something decent to drink.
"I wouldn't mind at all," Kane confessed.
"I'll be just a moment," Talin answered hastily making his way to the coffee machine, it took all of a minute at most to have the water scalding and the freshly ground coffee into the mixture. "It's black, Kane, hopefully you have some fresh milk in the office." Handing over the travel mug, "There's at least five mugs worth in there, perhaps a little more."
"Thank you," Kane said, raising it in thanks before he left the property.
"The newspapers have reported what's going on," Severus murmured, lips twitching, disliking the term 'hero' being used in conjuncture with his son. It reminded him too much of what fate would have happened to his son if things had not worked out the way they had. Even though, he knew it was meant to be, everything that happened led up to it.
ICW Bathurst and his attempts to sabotage our Hero, Harrison Regis!
"Nothing more than what was likely reported," Talin sighed, as he and Severus read the paper that had been delayed by over an hour. "Ah, the commissioner made the announcement this morning, it is a targeted audience. The journalists will have been spreading outrageous rumours if they hadn't revealed something."
"I have every right to curse him for naming my son," Severus grumbled, but he knew he was being unfair, after the Quadwizard tournament there was no privacy for Harry now. Although, he'd hoped it would die down, especially since he came second. However, that didn't look like it would happen now, this case was going to go on for months if not years depending how long it took. The ICW were going to be furious over this. They weren't used to this sort of negative press.
"Morning Headmaster Addison!" chirped many of the students, likely having had too much coffee, as they made their way to their exam room.
"Good morning, Callum, Charis and Craig," Talin said, smiling at them, they all had the same last name, so he used their first name.
"Morning Talin," one of his potion's professors said, "I've locked up the potions classrooms for the summer holidays, here is a copy of my schedule for next year."
"Thank you," Talin said, putting the paperwork on top of the pile he already had. Believe it or not, the few weeks before the end of term was the most chaotic. The paperwork he had to do was astronomical, but it ensured smooth sailing for the rest of the year which was a very good thing. It helps that he has had the same professors for many years, and all very good at their job. "I'm assuming you're off to the potions conference?"
"I am," Wren confirmed, "Is Septimus alright?" he normally came with them, there was nothing he liked more than the conferences. He'd read the newspaper and wasn't surprised he'd elected not to come today. He did however, want to make sure his friend was alright, he'd written to him but hadn't heard back quite yet.
"Yes, bring him back anything you think he might like," Talin added, flicking his finger and Wandlessly opening his office door. "He could do with some cheering up. Don't worry about the cost, I'll pay for it."
"Sure, see you boss," Wren said wryly, before he continued on, robes billowing out behind him much like Septimus. Honestly, they two acted like a couple, they did everything together. Although, to be fair, Talin likely had needed someone after his wife passed away, and he'd ended up close with the Regis family.
Talin kept his door open as he moved around his desk and sat down, setting aside the files pertaining to everyone's schedule. It would need checked over and a master one created, as usual, every year, hoping to make it good enough to satisfy everyone. Shifting everything around until he was happy, he froze when he noticed a parcel from ICW, it was clearly stamped on it.
Ignoring all else, he opened the parcel and blinked in astonishment, the commemoration clearly written out.
Grande Rivière Magical School
Ranked #4 In the world
ICW
Talin gaped, before setting the sign aside he read the missive that that had come with him.
Headmaster, Talin Addison,
Please accept this as a token of our esteemed and our deepest and most respected apologies.
The commemoration will take place on the 20th September and I, the supreme Mugwump,
Andrew Richards will be personally overseeing the unveiling of it. It is very much a pleasure
to oversee it.
The fact that Mr. Harrison Regis came second, with such a severe case of sabotage renders me speechless.
I would very much like to meet this young man, who fought diligently for a good cause. Your school should have
already been ranked, consider the mistake rectified.
Please, reply with confirmation on the date in question or propose another.
With greatest of respect
Supreme Mugwump of the International Confederation of wizards
Andrew Richard
Talin pinched his hand, "Bloody hell," he muttered, and clasped his hand over his mouth, oh, no, he'd been Britishised, Merlin, help 'd well and truly spent too much time around Severus, Minerva and Filius. He was glad his children weren't here or they would be calling him out for all things. Then likely found the whole thing hilarious really.
A/N – Yes, I'm far more satisfied with this chapter, although the only thing is the fact Severus wasn't in the headmaster's office so the 'flashback' couldn't pertain to him there. However, regardless of that, I hope you're enjoying it. Now this was the only thing that was voted on my facebook group! You wanted to see what became of Bathurst and not much else…now if there is anything more you want to see before I really begin this with Harry's wedding now is the time to tell me like seriously so I can add it and not find out in about twenty chapters that you'd like to see something and I cannot put it in so yeah, if you can think of something, please, feel free to add it, if it's thought of later I can just write it into one of the scenes perhaps a think about so remember to review and let me know! R&R please and take care everyone and stay warm xx
