Patronus Potter

The Patronus charm is a very advanced, powerful defence against the menace that is Dementors. It is fuelled by a singular happy memory and the incantation Expecto Patronum. It's effective but hard to cast. Many qualified wizards have difficulty with it.
"You're not thinking happy enough!" James insisted.
Sirius glared at him. "I'm telling you it was bloody happy enough!"
"It's got to be something really amazing. If you're not thinking happy enough it won't work. Try choosing another memory."
"I am thinking bloody happy enough!" Sirius snarled. "And if you say that one. More. Time James Potter you'll not be getting happy for a very long time!"
"Okay, okay." James muttered, he stepped behind Sirius and rubbed his shoulders soothingly with one hand. "I believe you, Padfoot."
"It's this sodding wand, Prongs." said Sirius, shaking said wand and causing blue and black sparks to spit from the tip. "It's been a total crackpot since the hols."
"Lemme have a go." James took the wand from Sirius's long, limp fingers. Brushed his thumb against the smudged dark wood, concentrated and yelled, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!"
The silvery form of Prongs blossomed from the tip and began a light canter around their dorm.
"See. Wand's fine." James said smugly.
"You've done that before." Sirius accused, though he was captivated by the beautiful, translucent stag. "You used my wand and there's no way you haven't done that before."
"I swear to you, Padfoot." James said seriously, "This is the first time I, James Neville Potter, have ever cast that spell."
Sirius shook his head and hesitantly reached out to touch the stag, his hand hovered above it for fear it would disappear. "He's incredible." Sirius whispered, in a louder voice he asked, "Oi, how come he looks like Prongs?"
James shrugged, "Dunno. He's always been like that."
"Always been like that? What happened to 'I swear to you, Sirius, this is the first time I've cast this spell in my life'?"
"It is!" James retorted indignantly. He took a fistful of his t-shirt and started cleaning Sirius's crackling wand so as not to look at him. "I, erh, mate, listen, I can't helped if I'm naturally talented and happy person. What were you thinking about anyway? I told you it wasn't happy enough."
Sirius rolled his eyes and snatched his wand back. He twirled it in between his fingers and said, "You're right, mate. You're completely right. Snogging you for the first time was just a run of the mill experience. Now, snogging Evans for the first time is completely different story."
James spluttered. "What - you - when?" Sirius burst into his bark-like laughter and James realised he was kidding. "Shut it, Padfoot you sick prat! It was a different story because it's completely fantasy and give us your wand back, there's something wrong with it."
It's a little known fact that a wizard's Patronus is an extension of their soul, like the animagus transformation is. Thus is has become common practice for a wizard to perform the Patronus spell before attempting to become an animagus so as to get a better idea of the animal they will become. Each Patronus is unique to the person who casts them. There are no exceptions to this rule.
You tell me what you think this means and I'll tell you if you're right. And I might have some cookies around here somewhere but I'm not promising anything.
