THIS IS MY HOME

A.N.: this is an AU ( Alternet Universe ) fic. So it is not held within the limitations of the book or movie plot lines.

Disclaimer: I do not own the lord of the rings, J. R. R. Tolkin does. I do not own Van Helsing, Steven Sommers does. I am not stealing the character of Lestat from Anne Rice! My Lestat and her Lestat are completely different. I just like the name. I don't own Dracula, he's so cool he owns himself.

Summary: What would happen if the fellowship of the ring, minus Boromir, Sam, Frodo, and plus Arwen and Eowyn, were as children flung into our world and raised by Gandalf. They will make some life long friends like, the descendants of Dracula?

Long ago in a different land…

In the elven realm of Rivendale a great feast was being held to honor the new year. People of all races journeyed great distances to take part in the festivities. Everyone was happy, but a plot was underway a plot to steal … the chocolate cake. 0.o . A small band of three year olds crept towards the dessert table. It was a pretty well thought out plan… for a bunch of three year olds that is. Half of the children went to distract the adults while the others crept over and grabbed the cake before diving under the table. Now six children sat under the table eating chocolate cake. When they had almost finished the cake they wiped the crumbs and frosting on the underside of the table cloth. It was the perfect crime…or so they thought. "So that is what happened to the cake." The children all jumped and turned around to face the voice. There sat the wizard Gandalf, peering at them from under the table cloth. He smiled and looked down at the children. Under the table sat Arwen undominel princess of Rivendale, Aragorn son of Arathorn, Legolas Greenleaf prince of Mirkwood, Eowyn daughter of Eowmund princess of Rohan, Merriadock Brandybuck, and Perigrin Tooke of The Shire. The children of the most important families in middle earth.

"You're not going to tell on us are you Gandalf?" asked Eowyn.

"And why would I lie to your parents?" asked the wizard. In response to this question Perigrin, more commonly known as Pipin or Pip, placed the last piece of chocolate cake in Gandalf's hand. He smiled at the young hobbit and ate the cake. "Don't let them catch you." He advised before letting the table cloth drop back into place. The party continued long into the night and one by one the children fell asleep. They were not the only ones. Not far away Gandalf had fallen asleep in a chair. It was almost midnight and the peoples of middle earth began to count down to the new year. At the stroke of midnight the light breezes, that had jostled the bells that hung from the trees, became gale force winds. Then there was a loud crash and a great flash of light and in the blink of an eye the children and Gandalf were gone with out a trace.
