Hello and welcome. I've taken this story down to rewrite it, and here is the first chapter, written now with a little more experience. I've also noted that many new cards have come out, so the decks in this were getting out of date.

For those who sent in characters before, don't worry. I have them all saved, and will be using every one of them. I've hopefully gotten all of them.

I will not be taking any characters for this unless i need them, so don't bother sending them in, i'll let you all know if i need some.

Well, that's it. So, doing something i've wanted to do for a while, ON WITH THE SHOW!

Chapter 1- Introduction

It was a bright day at Domino High. We join a very familiar group sitting around a lunch table outside. Two of them are dueling. "Sorry about this Joey, but my Dark Magician will attack your life points directly." The short one with black, crimson, and yellow hair said.

"Aw man, this is the fifth time in a row!" Joey said, scratching his head.

"When are you gonna learn that you can't beat Yugi? He's way too good at duel monsters!" A dark haired boy with dark hair shaped to a point asked.

"OH YEAH?" Joey retorted, fixing to teach Tristan a lesson, when he stopped, suddenly in thought. "That reminds me! Any of you gonna watch the Duel Monsters World championship tonight?"

"Yeah, we can all go to my house to watch it. Tonight's the final match, and I want to see it." Yugi chimed in.

"Why didn't you go and enter Yugi?" Tea asked.

"The cost was too much for me to go, seeing as its being held in America" Yugi replied, hanging his head slightly

Joey-"Besides, we all know Yug can mop da floor with any of those guys!" Joey said, trying to cheer Yugi up.

Later at Yugi's house

The group was sitting around the TV, eyes glued to the current duel. They had watched it go on for a half hour, and it had been heating up. The duel was being held by Bandit Keith, who was in his usual outfit, and someone they hadn't seen or heard of before. His name was Derek Conklin (ME!) and he dueled ferociously with his deck.

Keith-100

Derek-500

Currently, Bandit Keith had a Launcher Spider (2200/2500) on the field, powered up by a Seven Completed (2900/3100), with 2 face down cards behind it. Derek had a Red-Eyes Black Dragon on the field, with a Swords of Revealing Light protecting it for 2 more turns. Derek drew his next card, and then smirked. He muttered something under his breath, and then ended his turn.

Swords of Revealing Light-1 turn left

Keith drew his next card and played a Guardian of the Throne Room (1650/1600), then ended his turn. The swords of light faded away, leaving Derek's Red-Eyes wide open. He looked at his deck, then reached his hand up, and slowly drew his card. He took one look at it, then smirked. He placed a Polymerization on the field, then fused his Red- Eyes Black Dragon on the field, with the Summoned Skull in his hand. The two monsters became one as they formed the Black Skull Dragon (3200/2500) The black dragon fired its attack on Keith's Guardian of the Throne Room ripping through it with ease.

Derek-500

The crowd erupted in applause as Keith's life points shot down to zero. Keith pounded hard on the pedestal in front of him. He started shouting out curses and threats at Derek, and had to be dragged off by security. Derek walked over to the judges table. The middle one met him halfway, carrying a wooden box. He shook hands with Derek, whose face now seemed a bit less harsh, and he seemed to shrink slightly. The judge held out the box and opened it, revealing the prize of the tournament.
