Hope you enjoy! Oh yeah, the only thing I own is what I made. I don't own HP or anything, J.K. does. Please review!

Two figures could be seen walking back to the school in the sun sets glow. Playful punches found their mark on a strong tan arm. The thrower of these blows soon found herself swept up off her feet. Soft giggles could be heard followed by a squeal, a soft moan and a sigh.

Hermione pulled her lips from Jason's. The tall Irish Italian boy held her, cradling her in his arms so her feet dangled off to one side. Closing her eyes, she put her head slightly under his chin, her bushy hair tickling his neck. Swaying her gently, she seemed to melt in his hard gray eyes.

Jason and much of his family had moved from the United States to, well, across the street from Hermione for reasons unknown. The two instantly became close and soon fell in love. She knew he had a dark past, but had learned not to pressure it from him. Strange things would happen to his mind. Bad memories and nightmares would haunt him.

Despite this, Hermione was still not sure what she fell in love with first. The perfect blend of an Americanized of an Irish Italian, his handsome face, or his unique personality. Jason could make friends just about anywhere. He was outspoken, always speaking his mind. But he also knew when to hold his tongue. Despite the rough exterior, he had a big heart in which Hermione had filled a big hole. Friends and family where everything to him, in which he would do anything to benefit them, even at his own expense. He had proven this on more than one occasion for Hermione. When ever she was feeling upset, he would always get her a single red rose. It was a small thing that he did for her that she loved.

Not before long, the two where in the common room. They had chosen their favorite comfy couch to rest. No one else was in the room. Hermione crawled, slightly seductively onto his lap, curling into a ball and wrapping her arms around his neck. Wrapping his arms around her small frame, he pressed his forehead against hers, smiling down at her. To see such a bookworm and roughneck like this was, well, not something seen everyday.

Kissing him softly, Hermione brushed her nose against his. "Today was simply amazing.." He smiled, rubbing his against hers. "Oh you know it was."

"Did you see the sunset? It was so gorgeous!"

"Yeah, it was pretty cool. I love sunsets."

"I know you do. It's kind of funny, if you think about it. Your so big, but so gentle. Like a big teddy bear!"

He laughed. Being called a teddy bear wasn't a common thing for him. Bear, maybe, Mafioso, most the time. Before Jason had met and fell in love with Hermione, he was a troubled youth. But her tenderness seemed to cool the fires inside him. His mind was brought back to reality by her yawning. Soon she was asleep in his arms. Her final words "I love you...teddy bear..." before she began to snore gently. He laughed a little "And I love my little bookworm..." Kissing her once again softly, he soon drifted off to sleep as well.
