Wonders never cease. Lennie Briscoe thinks he's seen it all – decapitations, castrations, fathers killing their sons for sleeping with their mother's boyfriend's gardeners. He's seen petty thieves and mafia dons; upper class dope addicts and working class heroes. He's been from L.A. to Baltimore to Washington (and that's only on the job).
Never ever has he seen Thelma and Louise.
(He's only watching it now because he's trying to connect with Julia. He's already lost one daughter; figures he should try with the other).
Only… he's watching the movie and that's all very well except he's certain he's seen it someplace before and it's driving him crazy— that's it, down at the three-eight. Two women were attacked by some rat's ass and ended up on the run after one of them smacked him over the head with a brick.
(Lennie wonders if they were ever caught. Shakes his head. He's been at this too long if he can't even enjoy a movie).
In that respect, he really has seen it all.
