"You sure it's okay to go during the dark?" Peanut asked as he and Tarot walked to the entrance of the forest.
"It's the only time the shard will be visible, you got the map?"
Peanut nodded pointing to his messenger bag, "Right here, I put the orb in here also."
Tarot's eyes glowed green, "Alright, let's do it."
As soon as they entered the forest the path lit up a soft green with the surrounding flora becoming bioluminescent.
"Whoa, this is cool!" Peanut yelled out in amazement.
Tarot lent out her hand to him, "Don't go off running Peanut."
"I won't." Peanut assured grabbing her hand.
"It might seem benign but trust me, there's danger much closer than it looks." Tarot warned.
"You said there's spirits and other animals, are they just going to attack us or something, like in a video game?" Peanut asked.
"Not necessarily, some will attempt to send us astray from the path and away from the shard."
Peanut nodded, "Like a siren."
"Exactly, they'll pull tricks to stop us from getting it."
The pointer looked around the glowing forest, "So wait, I'm confused now, are they defending the shard or looking for it?"
Tarot shrugged, "Depends on who we encounter."
The forest was unusually silent as the two dogs continued down the path, however both of them were on high alert in case of any unwanted attention.
"You know, it might sound corny but you look really pretty with the glowing lights." Peanut pointed out.
Tarot was surprised at his observation, "You really think so?"
He looked down at her infatuated with her appearance, "Yeah, I might even say you're the prettiest girl in the world right now."
Tarot blushed and looked away, "I-I'm not that pretty."
"You are though! If we do have puppies, I would be the luckiest dog in the world to have them with you." Peanut proclaimed.
Tarot smiled and held on tight to his arm, "I guess I'm a lucky gal myself to have you too."
"I know I'll probably jinx us, but it hasn't been bad at all." Peanut commented on their journey so far.
"Shh! You know how the universe likes to taunt us when we say things like that." Tarot replied half-jokingly.
"What? Can't I make an observation of what's around us?" Peanut joked back.
Tarot rolled her eyes, "You keep saying things like that and I'll have to keep that mouth shut."
Suddenly a shuffling sound in the bushes nearby alerted both dogs.
"Sounds like we got company." Peanut whispered.
Tarot nodded, "Stay close to me."
They continued to walk down the illuminated path with both their ears perked up for any more sounds.
"Over there!" Peanut pointed to yet more rustling to their left.
Tarot's eyes began to glow green, "Show yourself now before I use my eye lasers!"
"You have eye lasers?" Peanut asked in astonishment.
"Please don't shoot those at me!"
Peanut squinted towards the voice, "Wait, isn't that-"
A rabbit emerged from the bushes looking both confused and a little dazed, "Peanut?"
Tarot held onto Peanut closely, "Zach? What are you doing here?"
"Jessica said to meet her here in the forest, but I think I got lost here since I can't find her." Zach explained.
Peanut sympathized with the rabbit's predicament, "That doesn't sound good, it's not safe here."
Zach sighed, "That's what I told her, but she said it would be fine."
"So what are you doing here anyways?" Tarot then asked.
The rabbit leaned against a tree, "She said something about finding a cave and that the animals here having been talking about this shiny thing that might be worth a lot of money. Honestly though I don't really know how someone that lives here is going to find any use with money in the first place but I didn't question Jessica about that."
Peanut rubbed his chin, "Hmm, you don't think?"
"The shard? Good chance it is." Tarot finished his thought.
"Shard?" Zach questioned.
"It's likely that the 'shiny' object the animals living here talked about is that." Tarot speculated.
"Huh, maybe that's what Jessica was looking for."
"Was she going to sell it or something?" Peanut asked.
Zach shrugged, "I guess, she did say something about a getaway to Greece with me or something, honestly I would've been fine with a movie date at the theater."
Tarot crossed her arms, "No offense, but Jessica isn't the most aware person out there, if she's by herself in this place then there's a good chance she'll run into trouble."
"That's what I told her, but she didn't listen to me!" Zach said visibly frustrated.
"Don't worry, we'll find Jessica and that shard and make sure that both are safe from whatever's here." Peanut assured the rabbit.
"I hope so, I'm really worried that she'll get hurt or worse." Zach said grabbing his ear anxiously.
"Well being alone isn't going to help, you'll be safer coming with us." Tarot offered.
Zach appeared reluctant, "Wouldn't I just get in the way?"
"Listen, better come with us then explaining to your father that you disappeared here." Tarot warned.
"She's right, don't worry about us, worry about Jessica." Peanut added.
The rabbit shuffled over to them, "O-Okay."
Peanut gave an assuring pat to his back, "We'll find her, don't worry."
Now a trio, the group continued down the path, now determined to both find Jessica and the shard.
"So Zach, what have you've been up to lately?" Peanut asked the rabbit.
"What do you mean?"
The pointer smiled, "I haven't seen you in a while, last I heard apparently some of the forest animals took a liking to you and started following you."
Zach groaned, "Don't remind me, last night one of them spied on me while I was playing Clue with Tiger and Marvin."
Tarot stopped them both with her arms, "Wait."
"What is it?"
Tarot sniffed the air, "They're here."
Zach quickly looked around, "W-Where?"
The Pomeranian looked straight ahead, "The Agitator."
"The what?" Both Peanut and Zach asked.
Tarot growled, "Too late to outrun it."
The rabbit made out a figure emerging from the darkness ahead of them, "Wait, it's Jessica!"
She stumbled onto view, groaning in a distressed tone, "Z-Zach..."
"Thank goodness you're okay! We need to get you out of here and-" Zach said before being halted by Tarot.
"She's being possessed by the Agitator spirit!" Tarot alerted noticing the possum's bright pink pupils.
Jessica slowly treaded towards the rabbit, "Zach...I-I want you."
The rabbit took a step back, "Okay, she's definitely out of it, can't you guys do something?"
"Only way to stop the possession it to overwhelm it." Tarot replied.
"What does that mean?" Zach shouted feeling fearful for Jessica.
A scent came across Peanut's nose, a familiar one, "Wait, she's in heat?"
Tarot nodded, "That's what the Agitator does, it possess mortals to achieve something it couldn't do itself."
Zach looked at Tarot panicked, "You're telling me that to stop this thing I have to-"
"Snuggle her!" Peanut answered.
The rabbit blushed vividly through his fur, "I-I..."
"It's the only way, unless you want Peanut to do it for you!" Tarot urged.
The pointer smiled awkwardly, "If it's to save Jessica."
Zach shook his head, "I'll do it, she's my girlfriend after all."
The rabbit ran up to the possum and hugged her to keep her from falling, "I don't why you chose to possess her, but if its true then I guess this is really what you want!"
Zach looked at the dogs looking a little embarrassed, "Uh, do you mind giving us some privacy?"
"No problem, just let us know when you're done." Peanut said grabbing Tarot's hand to guide her out of view.
For a while Tarot and Peanut sat down together hearing Zach working to satisfy the spirit that possessed Jessica.
"I know it might sound weird to say, but hearing them makes me feel kind of...needy." Tarot told Peanut.
Peanut tugged at his collar, "I mean, Zach might need some extra time to know for sure if Jessica's free from the spirit right?"
Tarot sat on top of Peanut's lap, "Don't forget that I'm still in heat too, and I told you that to keep me sane I'm going to need you around."
Peanut gulped seeing Tarot's expression become lustful, "Y-Yes ma'am."
Soon Zach cried out in pleasure as he came inside the possum, "O-Oh god!"
"Z-Zach!" Jessica yelled as her body reverberated from her own orgasm.
The rabbit huffed as he opened his eyes again, "A-Are you okay now?"
Zach felt a gust of foreign energy rush right past him leaving Jessica behind panting on the ground, "Z-Zach?"
She looked up to see his exhausted face, "What...is going on?"
Zach quietly chuckled, "Uh, long story, but man am I glad to see you're okay now."
Jessica felt the rabbit's erection residing in her, "Well, this is quite the welcome."
"Just please don't go running off on me again." Zach pleaded.
The possum licked her lips, "If doing that means you being inside me more, then I'll stay glued to you."
She then picked up the sounds of Peanut and Tarot loudly moaning in the background, "Geez, did I stumble upon some orgy that I wasn't invited into or something?"
Zach smiled wryly, "No, I think they just were passing the time while I uh...helped you."
"Tarot!" Peanut yelled out.
Jessica lustfully giggled, "Sounds like he's done at least."
Tarot held onto Peanut's shoulder to prevent accidentally getting knotted as he pumped himself dry into the Pomeranian.
"T-That's it, give me more, I want your puppies so bad!" Tarot moaned out as Peanut held onto her.
The pointer gritted his teeth as he tried his best not to slip his knot into her, "It's so good..."
"Ahem."
Both dogs suddenly looked to their side to see a smirking Jessica with Zach's cum dripping out of her pussy, "Hate to break up the lovefest but we still have a special item we're on the hunt for right?"
Tarot and Peanut both blushed, "Y-Yeah."
