A/N: I should put a disclaimer that there is sex in this chapter. There are choking triggers too.
Jenny waited alone on the sidewalk, worrying her bottom lip. It was five to seven, and NNY still hadn't shown.
She was just being paranoid. He promised he would be here, and in the most sincere, heartfelt way.
Still, the hand on her watch was creeping closer to seven.
Jenny could trust NNY, right? After all, he put his trust in her by placing a knife in her hand and telling her to stab him.
It was completely insane!
Despite how reckless he had been, his trust in her had completely moved her, and how could she refuse his offer of a second date with such a bold gesture?
Maybe he really did want to make it up to her.
It just begged the question though. Why did he carry a knife on him? That was not something normal people did, right?
Jenny carried shears, but the shears were mostly used for pruning flowers (and sometimes her dates too).
When Jenny thought about it... she didn't really know Johnny at all.
What if he wasn't a normal guy? What if he was secretly a serial killer?
What if he was more insane than Jenny was?
Jenny could be dating a possible psychopath, and why on earth wasn't she afraid?
NNY could kill her...
But he promised he would never hurt her, and Jenny believed him. He seemed so genuine, and she couldn't help but see the good in him.
However, Jenny of all people should know that people can change like the wind. Maybe she shouldn't go through with this date after all, lest they ended up killing each other...
Now that would be catastrophic.
A grey car pulled up along the sidewalk, and Jenny's heart soared.
He was here...
Warmth trickled through her veins when he stepped out of the car, and she forgot all about him being a possible serial killer now.
Now all she felt was overwhelming happiness.
He stopped before her, an eager smile on his face. He had a lovely smile, Jenny had decided, and how could she ever think that he could kill her?
NNY was a big old sweetheart.
People passed on the street, yet Jenny could have sworn they were the only two souls left in the world.
She couldn't stop gazing into his dark eyes. They shone like oil as the light from the street reflected off his irises, and when she looked closely enough, she spied flecks of brown.
Her gaze fell to his lips, and she wanted to taste that sinful tongue of his again. It had felt so good in her mouth the other day.
NNY finally looked away, a blush tinting his cheeks. He was adorable when he was shy. "So... ready to go?"
Jenny peered at her boots, a small smile playing across her face. "You came... just like you said you would..."
He glanced back, surprised. "I said I would remember?"
She nodded, keeping her gaze on the floor. "I... I know... I'm just glad you're here..."
NNY blushed harder, opening the passenger side of his car for her. "It's no white horse, but it should get us to our destination."
That was a strange statement. Why would Jenny want a white horse?
All she wanted was NNY. Not some shining knight.
"That's okay. I don't mind."
The smile he gave her next could have melted the hardest of hearts, and he truly did seem grateful to be out with her tonight.
How could Jenny have ever doubted him?
They stepped into the car, and an awkward silence ensued.
NNY drummed his fingers against the steering wheel, and he seemed nervous.
Jenny was tempted to reach across to make him feel better, but she kept her hands to herself. Truth be told; she was just as nervous too.
This was their second date after all. That meant something.
NNY sucked in a breath. "By the way... you... look lovely tonight."
Jenny gazed down at her dress. She wore a flowery teal dress with pink silk ribbons, and she felt like a princess.
She didn't know how to take the compliment. So she blushed, playing with one of her hair ribbons. "Thank you. You... look lovely too."
NNY's eyes bulged. Then he coughed, facing the road as he started the engine. "I highly doubt that. But thank you, anyway, Jenny."
Jenny opened her mouth to protest, yet no sound came. She wanted to reassure him that he did look nice, but words failed her.
It was just as well. NNY finally pulled away.
Their date was about to begin.
"It's so beautiful..."
NNY glimpsed that distant city over the edge of the cliff, wanting to make a pretentious remark on how the view was nothing but an illusion...
But he didn't want to spoil the mood. Jenny seemed to be in good spirits, so he made no further comment.
She giggled. "I think I can see my shop from up here."
Piqued, NNY jumped off the hood of his car to join her at the fence. A sheer drop awaited them on the other side.
"Really? Where?!"
"I was just kidding."
NNY glanced at her next, and the little jokester was giggling at him. Her laugh sounded like a pealing bell, and NNY could listen to that pure sound all night.
It seemed she was coming out of her shell the more time she spent with NNY, and he liked it when she showed a little confidence.
He grinned. "Someone's having fun."
Jenny shrugged, gazing back at the city. "I guess I am. It's just good to get out of the shop and see the city for once. I haven't had a chance to get out much since I moved here."
NNY regarded her carefully, taking note of her sad, melancholy tone. He got the gist that she didn't have many friends.
Well, except for those flowers that she adored so much.
She seemed lonely. NNY knew loneliness.
It was debilitating...
He was struck by an overwhelming need to reach out to her next and tell her that she never had to be alone again.
The last thing he wanted was for her to feel the same way he had for his entire life.
All of NNY's friends were gone now. People had only ever disappointed him, but Jenny was different.
There was just something about her, and NNY couldn't quite place his finger on it. Maybe she came from the mystical mirror world.
NNY always wondered if he would meet people that he actually liked there, and he certainly liked Jenny.
She made his palms sweaty and his heartbeat that little bit faster. So he shoved his hands into his pockets, hoping she wouldn't notice the build-up of sweat. It was pretty hot out, even though it was night and the temperature had dropped.
At least the moon was full, basking them in a bluish glow.
"So, um... what made you move to the city? Other than to set up shop?"
Blasted small talk, but he was worried she may grow bored of him and want to go home, and then there was no telling what NNY would do.
She twirled her pink hair, taking a while to respond. "I was hoping to make some friends. It sounds foolish, but I try to be optimistic."
NNY cocked a brow. "Well, did you make friends?"
She sighed. "No."
He wasn't surprised. The people of the city were not very nice, to put it lightly...
NNY exhaled. "I'm sorry. I know first-hand how disappointing it can be when things don't work out the way you want them. I'm sure you will make friends in time. You've only been here a couple of weeks. You're a nice person, Jenny. Someone will gravitate to you eventually..."
Well, that wasn't entirely true. Someone already had gravitated towards her, and that person was standing right beside her.
But NNY didn't care to share that thought. Even though he had already kissed her, he was still pretty shy in her presence.
She made him feel things that he hadn't felt in a long while.
"Well... I guess I did make one friend..."
NNY's pulse stuttered. Then he cleared his throat. "W-who?"
Finally, she met his gaze, and all the air left his lungs when he found the moon inside her big eyes.
"You..." she whispered.
His heart skipped a beat. Then he looked away before he drowned inside the sea of her bright blue eyes.
That distant city didn't look so beautiful anymore. Jenny was way lovelier. She was beautiful up close and from a distance, while the city was just pretty far away.
He couldn't believe it. She called him her friend...
Fuck. NNY wanted to be more than her goddamn friend! He wanted to kiss her again, but he couldn't find the right moment. Before, he took her by surprise, so who knew how he'd go about kissing her the second time?
He was like a horny teenager when he was with her, and if only he had cut off his balls like he once promised Reverend Meat.
A strong wind blew their way. Jenny shivered, wrapping her arms around herself.
"It's getting cold. I think I will sit for a while."
She settled down on the hood of the car, and NNY followed her example. Now they watched the city in silence.
NNY drummed his fingers, wracking his brains for something to say. He thought about her shop again and all the artwork he saw on her walls.
After all, he once talked about art on this very same hill on a previous date, or a lack of art for that matter.
"So, you like to paint? I noticed all the artwork in your shop. They're good."
Her eyes lit up, and then she blushed bright pink. "Thank you. I... dabble here and there. Mostly just forests and country scenes. Nothing special."
Well, NNY highly doubted that. He wished he could paint something so pretty. Her pictures looked so lifelike; he felt as if he could walk inside them.
He grimaced. "I... used to paint..."
Jenny blinked. "You did? Why did you stop?"
NNY's eyes widened as he drummed his fingers louder, chipping away at the shitty paintwork of his car.
It was best she didn't know the full details. He would just give her the short version.
"A creative rerouting..."
Jenny thought over his response, and to his relief, she didn't ask him to clarify.
Thank God. He didn't want to scare her away. It was probably a little too soon to tell her about his rich history with walls...
Yet he got the feeling she wouldn't be all that afraid if she knew some truths. In fact, he sometimes thought he saw...
No. She may be on the crazy side, but she was no homicidal maniac. Well, not quite in the same vein as NNY.
She had killed... what? One or two dates? Big deal.
NNY had killed thousands!
Simply put, Jenny was adorable. The girl talked to flowers for crying out loud, like some grownup version of Alice from Lewis Carrol's Adventures in Wonderland. And she certainly dressed like the fictional character too with her cute bows and poofy dresses.
NNY, on the other hand, was just plain old disturbed. His hallucinations were far from cute.
He would rather be stuck with Jenny's version of crazy any day.
Jenny had honestly believed that she could have hurt him of all people, but if only she knew the truth...
She shivered, and NNY glanced her way. "Are you still cold?"
Jenny nodded, running her hands up and down her arms. She didn't even have a jacket.
NNY's heart thumped as he couldn't believe what he was about to say. "You... can sit closer if you want. That way... you won't be so cold..."
What was he saying? No touching or being touched—that was the mantra.
But who was he kidding? That old vow of his went out the window from the moment he kissed her.
It went out the window from the moment he talked to her at the CD Cesspool.
Even then, he was smitten with her, but it wasn't as if she would be any warmer sitting next to him anyway.
NNY was pretty cold.
Jenny dipped her head, turning bright pink. "O-okay."
She sidled up close, and the warmth of her body seeped through NNY's coat.
Shit. This was a mistake, yet he couldn't help himself. When he saw her shivering, he had to intervene.
"Warm at last," she muttered.
NNY laughed nervously, and then an awkward silence ensued.
His mouth turned as dry as the Sahara desert, and he couldn't even think straight. He was too afraid to move.
She was quiet, and that wasn't good. They would never get anywhere if they continued like this.
Someone had to step up, but NNY didn't have the courage. Maybe he should start by thanking her for giving him a second chance.
Things had been dark for so long in NNY's life, yet Jenny had chased away the shadows.
When he'd first laid eyes on her, he thought she was just some other pastel-coloured Snow White wannabe with no depth.
But then she opened her mouth, and the rest was history...
He knew from the instant she talked about her flowers that she was crazy. And he had been besotted with her ever since.
"J-Jenny? I'm... really glad to be here with you tonight. I honestly thought I messed up the first time, but then you gave me another chance. I know I don't deserve it, but thank you for agreeing to go on a second date with me. I really was a fool. It's just... people have hurt me in the past, and I guess I just find it hard to let go..."
He finished with a nervous titter and nice. Very smooth.
Jenny froze, and he was worried she was still cold. But then she gave him a sweet smile, and something warmed inside NNY when he spied the dimples of her cheeks.
She was even prettier than the moon...
"I understand," she replied. "To be honest, I've never gone further than a first date. I was surprised you even wanted to go out with me in the first place. Guys find me weird."
He gave a short snort. "Trust me. I know weird, and you are far from weird, Jenny..."
She whipped her head around, staring at him like a haunted baby doll. That was when he spied the psychotic gleam in her eye, and it was the single most beautiful thing he had ever seen...
"My best friend is a talking rose, but don't tell Hyacinth I said that. She'd be crushed..."
NNY edged closer, and she even smelled better when she was crazy. He bet this was the part where most normal guys would run away (and then Jenny would commence with the killing of them).
Thank goodness NNY wasn't like all those boring guys.
"So... the flowers do actually talk to you?"
She gasped, shying away. "No. I... I was just blabbering. I don't really hear flowers talking to me in British accents. They don't even have accents. They're flowers, and they're not alive like you and—"
"Wait... your voices have British accents? Neat! Mine don't."
Jenny's jaw hung loose. "You... hear voices?!"
NNY grinned, and he was pretty sure his mouth curved at the corners like the Grinch's when he was about to steal Christmas. "Many, many voices... I once talked to the head of a floating rabbit. He was my favourite..."
He sniggered like a psychotic clown, and her skin turned five shades lighter.
Maybe NNY should tone it down a notch, but it was already too late. She may as well see the real him.
At least then he would know she was a keeper...
Her mouth parted, and then her pupils grew twice their size. She gasped, and NNY thought she was having a panic attack.
Then suddenly, she pounced on him, kissing him like there was no tomorrow. She even straddled his hips, sucking the breath from his lungs like a succubus demon.
What in the...?
It was the last thing NNY expected, and he had no idea what to do.
She continued to suck on his face, taking full control, and she definitely wasn't shy anymore...
The blood rushed through his head when her sweet taste exploded inside his mouth, and then his mind spun out of control.
NNY's heart pounded through his body, his mind transporting him back to that dark place where fantasy meets reality.
The shadows beckoned him, calling out his name, and then he flipped her around onto her back, pinning her arms down.
Won't kill her won't kill her!
Jenny's face flushed bright red as she gazed up in horror. "NNY! I'm... I'm so sorry! I... I don't know..."
Her voice was cut off next when he wrapped his fingers around her throat, applying just the slightest pressure.
All he could think about was squeezing her windpipe, yet he resisted.
But he wouldn't be able to resist for much longer.
His demon was relentless today.
It just wanted to kill indiscriminately.
Won't kill won't kill...
"NNY..." she whispered.
NNY froze.
Her soft voice slipped through the cracks of his mind, bringing him back to reality, and then he remembered where he was.
He was at Lovers' Hill, gazing out at the city that he despised so much.
And he had his hand wrapped around Jenny's throat.
Fuck!
NNY jumped off the vehicle, backing away to the fence. He couldn't take his horrified gaze off her.
There were red pressure marks around her neck. Marks shaped like his fingers...
Shit. He'd hurt her.
She had only kissed him, but he paid her back by almost strangling her.
It seemed he hadn't changed at all; he was still the same murderous piece of shit.
Once again, history was repeating itself.
NNY had almost killed another date.
It all started with the kiss—that beautiful, spontaneous kiss that came out of nowhere.
Who knew such a soft-spoken creature could have so much fire? Jenny had taken full control, and it flicked a switch in his brain.
He felt happy but also aroused.
When NNY's happy, well, he murders. And when he's aroused...
He was alerted to a swelling sensation inside his pants next, and he squeezed his eyes, wishing he had just cut off his genitals all along.
It looked like Jenny still wasn't any safer around him. It was best he just took her home and didn't call her again for two years.
NNY had some detoxing to do. The moment he got home, he would strap himself to the most terrifying contraption he could find in his basement, and not come out for a week.
It was what he deserved.
Jenny finally found the courage to speak. "NNY?"
He covered his face. How could he look at her now after what he had just done to her? He bet her throat hurt.
"NNY... say something..."
He tried to speak, yet words failed him. Everything was just so messed up.
"Was it something I did?"
He could hear the anxiety bleeding into her voice, and if only he could tell her that she was the least to blame.
It was all NNY; she had done nothing wrong. She was perfect, and she really needed to stop doubting herself.
All those guys that came before NNY really were pricks. Who wouldn't want to date her?
NNY sighed, finding his voice again. "N-no. You've done nothing wrong, Jenny. It... was me..."
A moment of silence. Then she slid off the car, coming to stand beside him. She took his hand, and an electrical pulse shot up his arm.
"Tell me what's bothering you..."
NNY bit his lip. "It's... not pretty... The last thing I want to do is scare you, Jenny..."
She bowed her head, running her fingers over his knuckles. "You... won't scare me. Whatever it was, don't worry. I'm here for you. We all have our flaws..."
He looked at her in disbelief. She really was considerate, and how could he even think about taking her life?
Let alone touch her with his... ugh...
Jenny was so innocent and trusting. And judging by her words earlier: inexperienced.
She had never gone further than a first date.
"I... I can't..." he muttered.
Jenny stepped closer, and now they were inches apart.
The moment her eyes turned up, he completely froze. She really did have the most beautiful pair of eyes.
So kind, yet so full of pain.
If only he could take her pain away. But he would only end up causing more.
Carefully, she placed her hand on his chest.
NNY shuddered. Her touch was like fire, leaving scorch marks on his soul. She just made it too goddamn hard to resist.
She was shy yet eager, and it drove him fucking wild.
Jenny brushed her fingers gently over his chest, and just that mere touch alone was enough to undo him.
Her fingers left a burning path down his shirt.
The bulge in his pants made an appearance again, and it looked as if NNY had become a slave to his body...
Sigh.
Her fingers stopped just above his erection, and his eyes shuttered closed. Heat dripped down his arms and legs, and then his muscles turned to putty.
Lights flashed, and this couldn't be happening to NNY. He was a well-oiled machine. One that was free from want and desire.
Her breath blew softly against his neck, and it took everything in him to hold back.
He would not hurt her again...
"NNY...?"
He shivered, pinching his eyes tight shut. Beads of sweat dripped down his face. and he was losing the battle.
When he didn't respond, she reached her arms around his neck, and her breath was shaky.
She was just as terrified as NNY, yet she was still eager to see this through.
Jenny brushed her mouth against his lips, and any last shred of sanity he had left was hanging by a delicate thread.
If only someone would come along and cut him loose.
"NNY? I won't ever judge you. I want every little part of you... demons and all..."
His eyes snapped back open.
Well, when she put it like that...
He scooped her up without warning, throwing her down onto the hood of his car, and now they kissed like it was their last day on earth.
She wrapped her legs around his waist to bring him closer, and NNY groaned into her open mouth. She returned a similar sound as they devoured each other's faces, and there was definitely no going back.
NNY had jumped right off the edge and into the abyss.
He had become the thing he despised most—a basic male who sought out the flesh of a beautiful woman.
Whether he liked it or not, he was stuck inside the body of a twenty-three-year-old man, and if only he had been born an insect...
Jenny bucked her hips. NNY responded in kind, rubbing his erection between her legs. She gasped, and the sound drove him crazy. Well, crazier.
NNY was already unhinged. A true maniac and he couldn't wait to impale her.
Was he really going through with this?
One look at Jenny's flushed face, and yeah, he was going through with this...
His body felt like gelatine as he unzipped his pants, setting himself free. That's when his blood ran cold.
He didn't have any protection.
For the love of mighty Christ!
Jenny waited patiently. Her pink hair pooled around her face like a halo, and life was so unfair.
Why did she have to be so beautiful? And why did NNY have to be so fucking stupid?!
Who doesn't pack a condom on a date? Even teenagers were better prepared than NNY was.
"It's... all okay, NNY. I'm on the pill. You... don't have to worry about... you know..."
Their eyes met, and the tension left his shoulders.
Thank God for her foresight.
"Are you still sure? Your first time is painful. It... may hurt..."
Since when did NNY care about inflicting pain? It was usually the other way around.
Fear flashed through her eyes, and it was enough to stop NNY in his tracks.
Just as he was about to zip his pants back up, she grabbed his hands, bringing him closer.
"No."
He looked at her in disbelief. She really wanted to go through with this.
If only they had found a more romantic location. She deserved better than the hood of his car.
Hell, she deserved better than NNY...
Yet it was the best he could offer her right now. They didn't have a fancy hotel room with rose petals and incense and candles.
"It's fine," she reassured, reading his mind. "I would prefer it this way. I was never the rebel in high school. In fact... I didn't even go to high school. So... I guess I'm living my teenage dream."
She giggled shyly.
NNY regarded her sadly. Despite the sappy sentiment, she just wanted to experience what normal people did, and that was reckless sex on the hood of a boy's car.
Some boy, hey...
If only she got the jock, but instead, she got stuck with the school psychopath.
"O-okay..." he whispered.
He braced himself, keeping his gaze on her the whole time. Her eyes never left him, and his heart wouldn't stop thumping.
He bet she could feel it. He could certainly feel hers...
Slowly, he pressed his length to her entrance, and she was so freaking hot. She shuddered, and it only spurred him on.
What had he been so worried about? Nothing had ever felt more right. Jenny was offering herself to him wholly, and her trust in him completely moved him.
She was so precious, and he may even be falling...
Nope! There were many things NNY was prepared to explore tonight, but not that.
NNY may as well be playing with fire.
He edged further inside her, lights sparking behind his eyes. She bit her lip, and he could only imagine the pain she was going through.
It had to hurt. He could even feel how tight she was as he eased back a little.
She circled her legs around his waist to lock him in place, and her intent was all too clear.
NNY climbed up onto his knees to get a better angle, and now the car shifted beneath their combined weights of 115 pounds and 90 pounds, respectively.
He granted her wish, pushing in further until he was buried to the hilt.
Now they were directly facing each other.
Jenny gazed into his eyes, and holy stars and moons...
They really were close. Their souls seemed to merge and twine and NNY never wanted it to end.
They were destined for each other...
What was the moon without his stars after all?
A shooting star streaked across the night sky, reflecting off her big eyes, and screw it. He really had fallen for her.
NNY planted a kiss on her lips. She reached her arms around his neck, running her fingers over the shaved part of his head, and her touch was like electricity.
He pulled back out of her carefully, his body shivering in anticipation. Then he dove in, making her gasp in delight.
NNY swallowed the sound straight from her lips, and it gave him the kick he needed.
Not too rough, though. She was still tender after all.
NNY jerked his hips over and over, building up a gentle rhythm, and Jenny closed her eyes. She looked even lovelier when she was being fucked by him, and he couldn't help but bare his teeth with a grin.
One day when she wasn't so tender... he would fuck her into oblivion...
But for now, he would go slow and gentle.
His fucking pushed her up against the car, and soon they stopped at the windshield. The glass steamed, adding to the effect, and NNY could feel it...
His climax.
He was going to make this special.
Bracing himself, he thrust his hands against the windshield to get a better aim.
Jenny whimpered as he built her up to her release.
"Oh... oh my..." she gasped.
NNY's grin stretched as he was about to make her come.
His palms left handprints on the glass as he pushed her closer to the edge.
Jenny was about to shatter.
A crazed laugh tickled the back of his throat, and he swallowed. Now wasn't the time for being crazy; he had to make this special.
Even when NNY was fucking, he was deranged. The adrenaline rush he felt was exactly the same, so he was going to enjoy this in the only way he knew how.
Besides, Jenny was just as crazy.
What would her psychotic laugh sound like?
NNY finally flew off the edge.
Jenny followed, clenching around his cock, and the lights sparked in NNY's eyes.
The blood rushed through his head as she locked him in place, squeezing every last drop of cum from his balls.
Holy... holy fuck!
His hips seemed to move of their own accord now as he continued to pound her pussy, back and forth, over and over.
She was soaked with his cum but he didn't stop. It's like his body had a mind of its own.
Jenny screamed as she came again and again, and the sound echoed across the hilltop.
It sounded like she was being murdered...
When his body was done fucking her brains out, he flopped down on top of her, crushing her under his weight.
She didn't seem to mind though as she wrapped her arms around him to keep him close, and he could feel her heart pounding.
Holy fuck.
There was no going back from this. NNY had only gone and surrendered to his body's urges in the end.
Yet he was happy.
Granted, the extra dopamine boost had helped, but he was genuinely happy. Terrified too, but in a good kind of way...
Things would definitely never be the same again.
A/N: there you have it. NNY's first fuck in fuck knows how long.
But it was fun. I loved how he lost complete control. He's quite the animal in bed.
His almost killing her is based on some fan art on Tumblr. Search for pragmaticinsanity. They do some amazing JtHM art.
