Come on people, who am I writing to, ghosts? I want some feedback, man. Lack of audience and engagement = less motivation to continue. Though for those who have liked, followed, thank you kindly, though. :)

~Luna for the point of view!~

I was frozen in surprise, and overcome with disgust. Sam covered her mouth, and Lori immediately ran to turn the television off.

"What- the freak... Was that?" Lynn's called out, eyes wide open.

"So like... Does that mean we can't go to Flip's anymore?" Leni inquired, while Sam just remained frozen. "M-..." Lana teared up, terrified of what she'd seen, and attempted to call out for her mother.

I looked down at my younger siblings, with regret. They shouldn't have seen that...ugh, this day is ruined.

"Okay, kids! Let's all try to find something to do, maybe have a family game night later." Rita announced, but the expression of disturbance did not sweep off the Loud children.

I know mom. She herself, was trying to keep her emotions contained, as not to bring further panic into the house, with undisguised fear being expressed.

"Bobby boo-boo bear, things are not going great down here. Some crazy looters literally murdered Flip." Lori spoke to Bobby on her cell-phone in a panic, as the younger Loud children followed their mother into the kitchen.

"According to my analysis, I presume the simple looters were incapable of performing such a vile, engaging act of impersonal violence upon Flip, admidst a struggle for looting." Lisa explained to Lynn Sr, our father.

Lincoln stared at Lori with visible confusion. "Hey, uh- Lori..." he asked. Lori bore an annoyed expression. "Hang on boo-boo bear, Lincoln needs me."

As Lori lowered her phone, she let out a forced "What?" which took Lincoln back a little. "Lori, do you think we'll be safe?" Lincoln asked, with visible worry.

He knew what was going on, he wasn't dumb. I'm sure his biggest concern, was as to if his family were going to end up in a future news report.

Lori then lost her tone of disturbance, and bore a face of worry. I saw her get to her knees, and wrap her arms around my little bro, who just stood there, staring blankly at the wall now.

"Listen twerp. Nobody stands a chance against me and Lynn. That's if they make it past mom and dad first, besides the threat, we got no risk. What do we have, that a bunch of looters could possibly want?" Lori exclaimed, an obvious node to the fact our stuff is mostly cheap, and worn down.

I felt comforted myself. Then, it hit me. Oh Sammy! She's probably so terrified right now...

Forcing myself over to my girlfriend, I put a hand on her shoulder softly, noticing the expression of fear on her face, as she stared blankly at the television. "Sam..." I call out, barely above a whisper.

"L-Luna... I'm scared..." her voice cracked, as I throw myself into a hug with her. As I heard a sniffle, my heart began to race. She's so scared...

As Sam started to sniffle, I sat down on the couch with her. "If... If... If we were there any longer, we could've..." she was unable to finish, and a surge of panic hit me aswell.

"Never that, brah. I'd sway them with me mad screamin'." I tried to comfort her, which she looked up, eyes red with tears.

"And... What if someone hurt Simon... I can't... I won't... Not without my baby brother..." She quivered, and I spoke up. "I don't think anyone could bring themselves to hurt 'em, I mean- look at Sy, little bro is too adorable, be like punchin' a kitten." I insisted.

She wiped a tear, and took a deep breath. "Yeah, yeah you're right Luna." and before my eyes, her cute little half grin started to emerge again.

Oh my stars, she is hella cute...

Just as we locked eyes, I hear Luan. "I guess today, is my bi-weekly. Someone to introduce to El Casa De Loud." I saw a cackle creep onto her face.

Oh greaaat, a bisexual joke from Luan.

"Oh hello! You must be Luana!" Sam smiled, though still unnerved. "It's Luan, close but no cigar... Oh wait, I think now the term is, close but no vape".

She bore a huge, exaggerated grin, and reached her hand out, as if to shake Sam's hand. Sam reached her hand out, but instead of a handshake, felt an immediate ZAP.

She jumped slightly, and Luan was now holding her sides, choking with laughter. "Sorry, but that! I guess meeting me was a shocking introduction." She smirked, and Sam looked at her with confusion.

"Dude! The heck, don't pick on Sa-" I stopped myself, attempting to hide the fact this was the Sam I had a crush on, the one I wrote the love-letters for, and that I've been hanging around for some decent time.

Unfortunately for me, Luan was not an idiot. "Woah. That's the Sam I've heard about? Gee whiz, toots, never woulda seen 'at a comin'!" she palmed both of her hands on her cheeks, in an exaggerated shock.

Sam tilted her head in curiosity, before speaking up. "So...Luna never mentioned she was...gay?"

I groaned and shook my head, when she wasn't watching.

"Well, truth of fortune; I had a hunch for some time, since I been seein' ya with Luna. But I guess now, I'm staring at some Froot Loops! Haha! Get it?" she threw her hands out.

After me and Sam sighed, we looked at her, while I reluctantly took Sam's hand. "Yeah dude." I responded, pushing myself to continue. "I'm gay."

Sam blushed at the statement, and Luan seemed to smile a face of acceptance, something that calmed my nerves to know that, even in the worst case scenario, I've got atleast one family member to accept me.

"Anywaysss, I guess you're not expecting scissors from me, sooo... I'm just gonna head on." Luan nodded, and walked off.

"Eh, sorry about that." I apologized, rubbing the back of my head. "Things around here are, well..." I pointed out, which Sam rolled her eyes.

"Energetic, passionate?" Sam replied.

"Well yeah, but I was gonna point out, why do you think we got our last name?" This statement of my causes Sam to smile with humor. "That's funny, coming from you."

Sam pointed out the obvious; I am the Loudest Loud, after all.

"Nah, truth be that my family history go back, wayyy back. Back in Scotland, we got Royal heirs, our ancestors founded Loch Loud and had a huge family too, just a generation thing." I explained.

"You're definitely a dork, you know that." Sam replied, as we walk up to my bedroom.

"Yeah...hehe. I guess I am." I add, as Sam plops down on one of my beanbag chairs. "Ooo, comfy." she reacts, and I look down at her. "So, things with you and Lana going good, at the shelter?"

She nods, and looks back up at me, while she lays back in the chair.

"Oh, actually! She wow'd me with her maturity, when we decided to send the exotic selection to this place in Ohio!"

Hearing this, I felt a tingle of hope in my heart, noting that one of my sisters did a very mature action. "That's why she's been facetiming a penguin, and an um- flying squirrel! Man, the dude always making the fresh moves."

"Yeah Lunes, believe me, she's wayyy cool. But, not as cool as you!" she winked, as she booped my nose. Through this, she kept her signature half grin, and I embraced her, holding her tight and enjoying the warmth of her through our hug.

Unfortunately, our little flirt session was interrupted by a knock on my door. "Yo' it's chow time! Get on in here!" Called out the prideful Lynn Jr, eager to dine.

As I got up, and saw Sam standing up, I decided to snatch her up, and carry her like a bride. "Woah, okay now...!" she laughed, as I gently sat her down, not wanting to have to take her all the way downstairs.

We make our way to the dinner table, and see my father making... His casserole... I turn to Sam. "Dude... You're gonna want a trashbag beside of you." in response, she raises an eyebrow.

"Is... There something wrong with it?"

"Pshaaww. That is the understatement of the millennium." I then bursted into laughter, nearly falling out of my chair. This gathered some unpleasant stares from the kin.

"Oh, uh- hey dudes!" I innocently chirp, and Sam playfully facepalms herself. Dad brings the bowls of his casserole, and places one bowl at each of our spots.

He stops at Sam's, before facing her. "Pleasure's all mine, Ms. Sam!" he smiles, reaching a hand out to shake hers, which she reluctantly does so, fearing another zap, thankfully there was no danger.

After one bite, she immediately gags, but manages to chow down the casserole.

"Sooo, uh. Sam... You're a girl?" Chirped out Lola. Sam looked at the young, mischievous pageant queen.

"Y... Yeah?" she answered, confused. Oh boy. I knew I should've told them about my 'crush' being a girl ahead of time.

"And... You're the one my sis likes?" Lola stares, with a sign of (thankful) approval, yet curiosity.

"Lola! Honey, don't bother the guest with foolishness. Please eat your grub." Mom jumps in, not wanting Sam's first dinner at the Loud House to be overwhelming.

Lola rolls her eyes. This tagged in Lori, with her "She is literally just your type."

Sam and I began to blush. "Wow, that's... Thank ya!" Sam slowed her response, before speeding up the pace with a flashback.

"We um... Didn't think so at first, the Astonishing Quest? Had a pinch of salt in our eyes that day, and at the time, we weren't uh... Crushing, well I was, I don't know about *turns to face me* Lunes, but I was all goo-goo eyed."

Oh man, that day was- something else. I was definitely crushing my ass off, just didn't think we were perfect at the time...

After taking another bite, Sam continued. "Anyhoozerz. We tried laser tag, farming, rock climbing, dancing, sailing, so many things and one of us wouldn't like the other's hobby. Anddd, we were gonna call it quits, but ended up finding out we do not like baking."

With that being said, everyone on the table started laughing. "Woah, wait! You guys don't like baking, that's the one thing?" Lynn Jr failed to contain her laughter.

"Uh-huh, say Lunes... Wanna explain how that went?" Sam winked, with a mischievous grin.

"Em- what?" I asked, only for Sam to wrap her arm around me, and bring me close, as she rubbed her cheek against mine. "A- Ayeee!" I called out, laughing.

"Alright, alright kids! That's enough comedy for one meal." Dad smiled, overjoyed at the close bond we shared.

Lincoln however, had already finished his meal, paying no mind to the tomfoolery we were up to, I noticed out the corner of my eye. Wanting to bring some fun to Lincoln, I called out to him.

"Hey Link, little bro! How was Clyde's last night?" after a small delay, he turned to face me.

"It was something, I guess. Didn't see much of Clyde that night, after I got done watching my show with him, I just got tired, couldn't do much because of the storm, and just sort of- passed out."

After taking a final bite of my casserole, I nod to him. "Did ya atleast have fun? All that matters is you enjoyed yourself." after what looked like Lincoln challenging himself to respond, to my liking, he quickly just acknowledged my question with a simple "sure".

Taking this as a notion to not continue, I carried on with the conversations at the table. "She's so pretty, sis!" called out Lola, who was taken back by how lucky I got to be, to have such a beautiful girlfriend.

"And, she's going to be my new guinea pig, I've got too much makeup to work with." she followed up, with a sneer, and Sam shrugged, and said "I'm not really that girly-" which prompted Lana to immediately jump in "Awwww yeahh, got us a mud-bud!"

"Guys, I'm a little bit in the middle." Sam pointed out, an ode that she's neither too feminine, nor tomboyish. "But, you're on the far left side?" Leni pointed out, mistaking Sam's statement on her feminine traits, as a misplacement at the table.

After finishing the dinner, everyone walked to the living room, as mom went to collect a board-game in the closet inside the stairs.

"Luna, this is so cool! I never thought your family would be so much fun!" Sam smiled, and looked on at Lucy, the Gothic and literature invested Loud.

"Fun? I sense little amusement, as a snooze to my motivation beckons my failure, yet I find myself lured back into the struggles of continuation." Lucy spoke out, with a slow, emotionless tone, as her usual.

Sam went wide-eyed, and slowly backed away from her.

"Typical Luce. She's tons of fun, just once ya get past the...whatever that is." I explained, as Lucy continued to stare into us, with her concealed eyes.

Mom brought out the game, and placed it on the table. "Monopoly!" called out the entire room, and a surge of joy filled me. I've always loved Monopoly, especially with my closest peeps.

"Woah, I haven't seen this since the dark ages!" Sam smiled, as Mom unboxed it. "Aww yeah, it's gonna be packin!" Lynn smirked, as she flexed her muscles out.

We each selected our tokens; I picked the cat, Sam picked the dog, Lincoln picked the battleship, and so forth.

"Ooo, community chest!" Cackled Lynn, as we'd been playing for some time now. "Go to jail, go directly to- DANG IT." she groaned, and we all laughed.

"Aha! Hope you drop the soap." Luan snickered, before blowing a kiss at her, and Lynn subtly flipped her off.

"Hm, Park Place. Does seem exquisite, furthermore, I shalt observe the-" Lisa was interrupted by Lola with an annoyed "Just buy it already!", and Lisa spited Lola by bidding the property instead.

Sam spoke out to me. "Hey! If I win this auction, I've already got Boardwalk, I just need this, and I'll be able to build houses!" she grinned, and I nudged her to carry forth.

"450!" Luan called out, sticking a tongue out at Lori. "455." Lori countered "20 dollars!" Leni pulled some money out of her purse, and Lynn corrected her. "No, no. It's the game's money, not your actual money."

"And, it's not permitted to bet any currency under the cap, including after it is raised, and in order to-" Lisa once again, was cut off, by Lincoln stating "Just bet 451." which obligated Leni to nod, and throw down 451 of the monopoly dollars.

Sam grinded her teeth, before realizing this was going on for too long; and I noticed her finally give in. "600!", Lisa responded with an "anything over? No? It now seems the deed to Park Place goes to Sam."

This victory lead Sam to throw out her rock pose in celebration.

After rolling a 9, Leni landed on 'Luxury Tax'. Excited, she called out "Oooo! What do I win?!" but her moment of joy shriveled, as Lori explained what it was. "I like, don't wanna buy that!"

"You got to, Leni. Part of the game." Lincoln explained, and she groaned, but went along with it.

After some time, Sam had built multiple houses, Lynn, Lola, Lucy and Lana were chipped out from bankruptcy, Lori and Leni were struggling, Luan was in jail, and Lisa was dominating us. Me, Sam and Lincoln had to think practical.

"Don't land on any of the reds, please, please don't land on any of the reds." I called out to my dice, noticing the wicked smirk on Lisa, who had acquired all of the red's after dominating Lucy.

I rolled double 7's, and landed on Reading Railroad. "200$ to Lincoln, dang it!" I called out, with him failing to change his expression, even at the sight of his advantages growing.

After a hard game, Lori, Leni and Luan were out, and it was just me, Lincoln, Sam and Lisa. I landed on 'Chance', which I crossed my fingers. "Please be the collect money from players thing, please be a decent card bro..." As I lifted a card.

'Go straight to Boardwalk.' I immediately threw out a "Noooo!" As I'd already lost some money from income-tax, and now I landed on the Boardwalk, which has a hotel placed on it. At this point; I was done for, and rather than give up my last two properties and have no fighting chance, I declared bankruptcy.

Lisa managed to decimate nearly everyone in the game, and was nearly unstoppable, but after a 1v1 between her and Sam consistently hitting the respective's property, it was going close, and right now, Sam just needed a little bit more money.

She took an auction to collect my properties, as Lisa attempted to ration her funds, holding most of the upper right corners, between the 'Free Parking' space, wanting to collect anyone leaving the jail.

And Sam held most of the places on the bottom of the map, the green, blue and brown, while Lincoln held yellow and light blue.

However, Lincoln rolled doubles three times, landing him in jail. "Great, now I'm locked up, Lisa." Lincoln spat out with disgust, knowing he was pretty much screwed once he got out of jail, due to Lisa's conquest on that entire section of the board.

I watched as Sam rolled a five, and landed on Lincoln's 'Short Line' railroad, gifting him 200$ as he owned all railroads. "Alright, atleast I've got some money out of this."

Then, after Lisa rolled onto her own orange space, Lincoln rolled doubles. With a 3, he landed on State Ave, and replied to his previous statement of atleast having money out of the ordeal, with a "there it goes" in an emotionless sigh.

Lincoln lost a decent amount of his money, and in the turn following, he rolled a 5, landing on Tennessee Avenue, this time stripping him of his remaining funds. Rather than give up the few remaining properties he had, he declared bankruptcy, now leaving Sam against Lisa.

This drained Lisa and Sam out of a decent amount of their cash, during the bid for Lincoln's properties. After 8 minutes of turns, we began to dwindle near the conclusion.

"Hey Lisa... I'll trade you my Illinois Avenue, for 600$." Sam grinned suddenly. I gasped, and whispered to her.

"Dude, what are you doing?! You're gonna give her an entire side of the map... She just needs that one space, and she'll have hotels running all over the side..."

Sam simply turned and winked, with a 'trust me' expression.

As Lisa pondered the idea, she then adjusted her glasses, before calling out "deal".

She then began to use up almost all of her cash, placing hotels in a clear sense Sam was screwed. Lisa had all of the pieces on the right-side of the board owned, including the yellow, now owned after Lincoln's loss, however, Sam got ahold of the railroads.

All Lisa had to do, was roll once and she was pretty much set, Sam was almost guaranteed to land on one of Lisa's properties, leading to total bankruptcy.

Lisa rolled off the electric company space, into the Chance space. "Oh no, what is she gonna get..." I said quietly, facing Sam, who bit her lip, in the anxiety inducing grab of a card.

"No... That's... impossible..." Lisa froze, as the card she picked, sent her directly to boardwalk. A property owned by Sam, with a hotel placed on it.

And, because Lisa had been cocky, she used up all of her money on buying that property from Sam, and building hotels on all but one of the spaces, which had only two houses.

"You... Sam won..." Lori gasped, and we all stared at Lisa, frozen in fear. Lisa could have continued; losing most of her properties, mortgaging and no longer profiting, in a slow, painful trap until she had no choice but imminent loss. So, she surrendered immediately after the trap.

"Is... Is that a bad thing... Sorry guys, I-" Sam began to apologize, but was interrupted by all of the Loud sisters rushing past the bewildered Lisa, and hugging the teal-streaked rocker.

"Okay then!" Sam chuckled. "Babe, nobody has ever beaten Lisa at Monopoly!" I called out, and a warm blush crept her cheeks in pride. "She is totes one of us now!" Leni grinned.

"Oh, uh..." Sam tried to say, but Lisa interrupted. "Hold it."

Everyone stopped, and backed away from Sam, as Lisa approached her. Fear struck Sam, and my chest tightened up. She didn't cheat, did she? No, she couldn't have...

As Sam feared sore loss, she was met with a smile from Lisa, who put her hand out for Sam to shake. Reluctantly, the shy teen obliged.

"It would seem, I had underestimated your capabilities, adolescent. You have bested me, to which I am surely impressed, among the remainder of the family." A shallow, but noticeable smile rose from the intelligent girl's face.

Everyone, except Lincoln, who we didn't notice hadn't left the couch since losing, cheered on for Sam, though Lynn was the first to notice, and ran up to him.

"Yo', did you see that? The new girl just bashed Lisa in Monopoly!" Lynn cheered, trying to high-five Lincoln, who left her hanging.

"Go Sam." Lincoln bitterly and sarcastically mumbled. Lynn raised an eyebrow. "Alright, what's the fuss for? Atleast it wasn't Lisa punking you this time."

"Oh forgive me Lynn, for not leaping with excitement. My dignity runs thicker than mud." Lincoln mumbled, as he got up and left the living room, to get something from the kitchen.

Lynn was hurt by Lincoln's cold demeanor towards the guest, and Luna seemed to have taken notice, but was occupied with her sisters.

"We need her back every game night!" Lana jumped. "She'll be my partner in-!" Lola tried to argue over dibs on Sam, but couldn't think of a board-game with teams at the top of her head.

"Trivial pursuit, we play that with teams! I'm so calling her as my buddy!" Leni chirped. "Uh, dudes-" I tried to stop them from arguing, but they wouldn't listen.

"Eh-hem! You realize Leni is as dumb as a rock. You'll never win with her on your side, though I suppose Sam, you love to rock and rolllll!" Luan expressed, speeding up the insult, only to try to save herself by making an unplanned pun.

Sam now looked scared, and while everyone was arguing, I took her by the hand and snuck her out of the room, into the kitchen, noticing Lincoln feeding Lily banana-pudding.

"Yo', what's shakin' brojo!" I called out, approaching him. He didn't say anything, nor turn to face me, only beckoned me to approach him, so I did.

"Yeah?" I whispered to him, figuring he was going to tell me something quietly, which my suspicions were confirmed. "Let's talk in private, if you and the rest of you wanna talk so bad."

My heart felt a jab through it, with his bitter tone. "O-okay brah, message received." I walked up and gave Sam a strong kiss on her lips, before going outside to talk to Lincoln. I didn't notice his face of disgust, as I kissed her.

After stepping outside, I noticed he pulled out his vape, and took a hit, blowing off into the bitter outdoors. "Long day, huh." he asked, though it sounded more like a statement, slowly exhaled with the smoke he puffed.

I nodded, and tried to talk positively. "Sam man, isn't she the the coolest?"

After all, I wanted my brother to feel happy for me. This girl, she's my soulmate, she's my bestfriend, I want her to have a strong impression on him, maybe they can be friends, and she could help him, the way she's helped me. Okay, not 100% like me, but you get the picture.

"Oh, lovely girl huh. As if the new rave of the house will do me some good." He coldly responded. "Ouch dude. You know... She might be your sister-in-law one day, you should really give her a chance." I explained, as I kicked around a rock.

"All I see, is just another perfect somebody, for my gifted sisters, while nobody me! Gets the treatment of talking to the hand all day." I didn't exactly catch on 100% to what he was thinking at first, but then it hit me. Jealousy.

I put my hand on his shoulder, and he didn't flinch nor react, as he continued to puff his vape. "Nobody will ever take me away from you, Lincoln."

He looked up as I continued, as if he was trying to comprehend the situation from my point of view. "You're my little bro. Sam, she's everything to me, just like you are. And me and her... We promised together, to do whatever it takes for us all to be a big, happy family. Nobody left behind, that includes you."

The statement seemed to have taken Lincoln by surprise, and it seemed like he was finally starting to crack, with emotions emerging. It was then, that I saw a tear form out of his eyes.

"Oh no, no, no dude. Hey, look at me man, it's gonna be okay, nothing's changing, we've only been together for barely a day!" I express, now concerned that maybe what I said, was too much for him, and regret started to punch me.

"Nobody. Nobody will ever take my family from me..." Lincoln whimpered, as he fell to his knees. I then got on my knees, and wrapped my arms around him, comforting my little brother, whose clearly overwhelmed with the sensation of abandonment.

"We care dude. You saw the other night, the things we did for ya. Got you that Flippee, she gave you a jacket, we made sure you got to Clyde's safely and without freezing." I explained.

"We care, bro. Every little thing, is gonna be alright." I smiled, and noticed his tears started to dry, and he looked stiff, still trying to sink in the reality of the situation, before getting up silently, and going back into the house.

As I entered, I saw him slowly walk towards Sam. "Oh man! Maybe things are gonna be fixed!" sadly, disappointment hit instead. He turned, and went back into the living room, clearly going back into his bedroom.

I then walked up to Sam, and kissed her forehead. "I luv ya, so much."

She then responded by kissing my wrist, and looking into my eyes. "I love ya more, Lunes!" and we soon got up, and walked into the living room. Everything had cooled, and then they saw Sam, and went back to trying to speak to her.

Instead, I called out to halt them. "Everyone, dudes and dudettes! I have an announcement." everyone soon quieted, and listened in.

"Sam, there's something I've been wanting to ask you for a while now, and- after tonight, the impression you've made on all of us, my family." I gulped, anxiety soaring and trying to finish my conversation. Come on Luna, don't wuss out. You've come so damn long to just bail on now, it's the perfect chance...

"Will you go on a date with me, tomorrow?" I notice the initial look of confusion, turn into a massive smile, as she immediately cupped my cheeks, and kissed me passionately in front of everyone. 'Awws' surrounded the room, and she looked at me through the eyes.

"Yes, yes I will."

I then explained the 'date' was gonna be a big, family event, and there was a surprise at the end of it. I didn't notice Lincoln peering in through the staircase, a look of surprise, but also of pure disgust.

Sam agreed to it once again, and that made tonight, so damn special.

~Last Night, with Lincoln~

The rainfall was unforgiving. Topping that, with being flung into a ditch filled with water was just as nice. I wasn't in the 'best part of town' so I couldn't exactly just knock on someone's door, and ask to take shelter.

No old boy; you're gonna have to walk. Just make it to Clyde's house, or just anywhere you can chill for until it blows over. You're not your sisters, you're a man, so be like it, before Lynn and Lana put you to more shame than already performed.

The rain soaring into me at the ridiculous speeds, made it feel like bits of glass slapping into my face, the agony was so bad, that I settled with crawling on my knees, and holding the bookbag over my head, collecting mud, rubbing my kneecaps raw with asphalt, and the grass becoming stuck.

I continued the hustle for... Hell knows how long, until I finally saw 'Flip's Food 'n Fuel' in the background. I noticed the ridiculous amount of traffic, as the storm was finally seizing, so I took the safer, longer way, going through the Royal Woods Forest.

Crossing through the brambles was a godforsaken nightmare; as the treelimbs continued to slap back at me, wet leaves giving me even more chills on the back of my neck.

"Ugh..stupid nature..." I grumbled, trying to navigate my way to the store. "God, I hate the fucking forests, Rip Hardcore is probably laughing at me right now."

As I continue to trek through the unforgiving wilderness, I see it dead ahead; Flip's Food 'n Fuel. With no surge of motivation, I didn't jump with joy, nor congratulate myself. I began to approach the store head on, when I heard something in the forests.

Curiosity overwhelmed me, so I turned to my right, and peered through the bushes. I then saw Morag, the psychotic hell-bent who nearly massacred my entire family in Scotland.

Rather than gasp, I looked in confusion. "What could she be doing here? I- I'm certain that's her, I can't be miraging in the rain..."

Morag was shoveling into a large, suspicious hole, when she glanced up, and could see Lincoln, given away by his distinctive white hair, and obvious facial features.

"Oi say, that's Lincoln Loud!" Morag gasped to herself, before letting out an enthusiastic "Hellllo, lad!" which prompted Lincoln to dive into the bushes, focusing on a clean getthehelloutofthere.

"Ah, jus' a bit shy, cuz oi tryda kill 'em so many times." Morag sighed to herself, as she continued shoveling.

I finally made it to the Food 'n Fuel. "Might as well get some Flippee's for me and Clyde." I told myself, as I'd head straight to his place after here.

My feet were raw, every breath I took, I could feel a sharp pain, my chest was strained, and I was barely full of any energy to move, I was pretty sure I'd finally die today, as I entered the store.

Flip, the unruly shopkeeper sternly demanded payment for the mud I brought into his store, great there goes my fucking day. I'll just run out this store, before he makes me do a damn thing about it."

Before I planned my move, I didn't notice that my sister, and her three obnoxious friends were in the store with me, until I hear a familiar voice call out "Lunes!" in a worrisome manner.

I then saw Mazzy, Luna's short, quiet man-in-the-back bandmate rush towards me frantic.

"Linco! Jesus Christ dude, you alright?" Mazzy freaked out, as she approached me. Luna's best-friend, Sam, removed her jacket, and reached out to me with it.

Does she wanna give me her jacket, or something?

"You poor thing! You must be freezing, little buddy." she called out, with worry on her voice all over. I then saw Luna approach me, looking about to pass out with fright.

"Brah, what are you doing here? You look like you just fell into the Mississippi River." Luna inquiried, worrisome for my wellbeing, as always. Pft, drama queen.

"Just... Got out of school early, stuff with Chandler that I won't get into. I came for a Flippee, but... I won't have enough, now that I just wasted it all on- whatever Flip is demanding." I tried explaining to her, and noticed she pulled out a decent amount of cash to spot me.

"Here bro, this is-" Luna was interrupted by Flip. "And that's an extra 40, we have a sharer's fee." He snickered, trying to lure us back in. Defeated, I saw poor Luna about to put her money back, but then Sam, Mazz and Sully scrapped together their funds.

"There. Now can my brother have his Flippee?" I heard her bitterly spit out. Flip unrolled the money, and just let out a mocking "pleasure doing business with you."

What the hell? They didn't need to do all of this...now they won't get their own Flippee's... I can't just let 'em do this, I don't deserve kindness.

I noticed Mazzy walk up to me, and gave my cheeks a gentle pinch, after she slightly leaned over. She's barley taller than me, anyways. "Aww, you're so adorable in this jacket, little rocker!" She smiled. The hell is you saying? Okay, but this jacket is cool, I won't lie. Just a little big on me.

"I know, it fits him so well! Okay, not literally but you know what I mean..." I heard Sam add.

"Why did you guys... Buy that Flippee for me? You didn't have enough to get your own. " I asked. "Ah, don't worry about that buddy." Sully, I think his name is, patted my head, before finishing up. "Luna is everything to us, and you're everything to her. And you've been feeling icky, so, it was our pleasure."

"Yeah. I've gotta go, I'm going over to Clyde's to watch some Arghh." I explained, as I felt I'd already taken enough time of them tonight. However, I noticed Sam run up in front of me, blocking me from walking.

"Woah woah, Lincoln! You can't walk home in this weather, you'll catch your death out here!" Sam explained, noting my current condition from being caught in the storm.

"It's fine, I-" I tried to say, but was was cut off, by Sully. "Look Lincoln, I have no problem driving you to your friend's crib." Sully explained. "Yeah dude! Does the C-Train have some duds? You're gonna need to shower, and change brah." My sister, Luna asked.

"Yeah." Was all I said. Didn't feel like explaining my life story out here, and noticed as Luna wrapped her arms around me, not caring about getting soaked, or muddy. Then, she gave me a quick kiss on the forehead. "I love ya, little bro. We all do."

You might love me, but I don't love me. I had a dream, and it died when we left Scotland, the one place I felt I mattered.

I then heard Flip barge outside, and shout out "Alright now, you can all get lost! I'm closing shop, and I don't want the cops out this joint again, thinking I have a homeless infestation." He grumbled out.

Sully gave Flip the bird. "Fuck yourself, dude!" he spat out, and Flip returned the bird, as Sully walked with us to the car. I kept my eye on the the asshole, infuriated by his disrespect to my sister.

"Eh, and the hell are you staring at, little boy? Mommy didn't feed ya enough tonight? You can feel free, to eat out my dumpster." He cackled, before slamming the door shut, and locking it.

Go ahead and talk shit, man. Not like I haven't heard worse than that, for my entire day. And this is just the cherry on top, compared to what I've been through for months now.

Sulking wouldn't change anything, so I just got in the car, and rode to Clyde's place with Luna and her crew, trying to pretend everything was alright, but I didn't drink the Flippee, as I questioned; if I should save it to share with Clyde, since I'd rather him be happy for his efforts in trying to help me, or drink it, since Luna's crew all chipped in their money for me to be happy.

I soon decided to just drink it, as we made it to Clyde's place just in time. "Alright. This is me.. Oh Sam... You want your jacket back?" I asked.

"No way, it looks way cooler on you!" She smiled, smiling at me. "Thank you all, for everything. I mean it." I softly replied, before slumping out the car. "Be safe, brah! Love you!" Luna called out the rolled-down window. Instead of a response, I just threw my thumbs up.

As I walked up to Clyde's door, it had already swung open, with Clyde's father, Howie, proud to see me. His other father, Harold, sat on the couch, playing with Cleopawtra.

"Lincoln, my goodness, are you alright?!" Howie freaked, nearly fainting. "Yeah, I'm just- I caught a bad end of a storm." I explained.

Howie immediately ran into Clyde's bedroom, and Harold walked up to see me, after I shut the door.

"Lincoln, we're gonna have to make you some soup, little buddy." Harold calmly explained, as he put both hands on my shoulder. "I'm- sorry about the mud..." I whispered out, apologetic, but he wasn't upset at all.

"No no, it's no worry, we'll have it cleaned in no time." Harold finished, while Howie walked in. "Hare Bear, I've got some of Clyde's old clothes in the bathroom, Lincoln, you should shower, get some hot water before you get..."

Howie was unable to finish, as he fainted, unable to process the chance of me getting sick. With a slow, unmotivated force of action, I walked to the bathroom, and the first thing I took off, were my shoes and socks.

Holy... These blisters...

My feet were swollen, and completely numb, and I eventually stripped until I was naked, and turned on the hot water, warming up the shower. "Bah. I can still smell the piss and sweat." I grumbled, as I tested the temperature, before getting into the shower.

I almost passed out in relief, as I felt the nice, warm jets fall onto me, though it took a solid for me to even feel anything, as the freezing, numbing sensation of my body, but once I did, I almost didn't wanna leave the shower. I poured the shampoo into my hands, and made sure to smear it all in my hair.

I then continuously scrubbed all over my body, getting soap all over me with the squeegee. After my entire body was cleaned, I walked into the shower stream, finally rinsing myself of all the soap and shampoo, having let it settle for a good three minutes prior.

"Phew, much better." I told myself, as I exited the shower, and began using the towel, and picking up Clyde's unopened pair of boxers, and old pajamas, sliding it all on and exiting the bathroom.

I then notice Clyde, who carried a "hey buddy!" and handed me a hot chocolate. "Oh, uh-thanks!" I smile, even though I had a Flippee which I finished in the car, I still could go for another drink.

I then sit down, and Clyde sits down next to me. "Here you go, my rangers!" Howie smiled, and handed both of us blankets, and I laid back into the seat, enjoying a sip of hot chocolate. Apparently, they didn't have any soup, but it was really no big deal to me.

Howie then sobbed, before facing Harold. "Their.. Their friendship is just so beautiful..." and Harold comforted him. "Now now, Howie. Those two always have been the best of pals." Harold looked on with a smile, as he approached the recliner, exposing the legs so he could lay back and watch 'Arghhh' with his husband, son, son's best friend and the two adorable fur babies.

Nepurrriti hopped into my lap, and I was amazed by the little Kitty's beauty. Cats are my softest spot, and everything about them tends to calm my nerves, dark places, and thoughts of self-harm.

I gently stroke the feline, as Howie walks in with some popcorn. "Ooo, yes! Butter popcorn, my favorite!" Clyde cheers, as he takes a handful.

After the fourth episode we watched, I heard a loud 'boom' outside. "Hm. I suppose the storm has resumed." Harold scratched his chin, and noticed Howie passed out on the couch from fear.

"Aw darn, the lightning always gets him, before the thunder." Harold chuckled with Clyde, and I looked on, as Harold gets up to stare outside at the storm.

Man, I would hate to be caught in that just about now. Oh waittt a minute, I must have forgot...

I continue to lay back, sipping my hot chocolate without a care in the world, as thunder erupts the neighborhood, and the wind whistles loudly.

"Hey buddy, you ready to watch some more Argh?!" Clyde jumped with joy, and I nodded, as we stream the next episode with Netflix. However, as it's buffering to load in, we heard a loud 'pop' and all of the lights went out, including the TV. This sent shivers down my spine, as it was unexpected.

"Yagh!" Clyde jumped, and I looked at him. "I wish Lori were here right now, man would she know what to do." although, the thought of my bestfriend fascinating about Lori made me roll my eyes, as I navigated to the bedroom.

I heard wind scream, and tree branches smack into the house, as I found Clyde's bedroom. "After all the times I've been over here, I feel like I would've noted the layout." I grumble, as I climb into bed, next to Clyde.

"Goodnight." I tell him, as I turn to my side and end up fast asleep.

Thank you all so much for reading. :) We've got plenty of chapters to go, so stick around, leave some feedback and smack that follow so you're always up to date with the novel. Anyways, see you soon!
