Episode 26: The Very Last Episode, Really!

Remaining Campers

Christian, Molly

"Ah, morning in Muskoka," Chris's voice said over a view of the dock from behind. "The bird's chirping," The camera cut to a couple of birds on a rock. "The loon calling," a bird was show calling. "The majestic sounds of beautiful Northern Ontario." A record scratch was heard and the host popped up on screen wearing a purple and green party hat. "Welcome," he said, "To the most thrilling episode yet!" He blew a noise maker.

The camera flashed to the totem pole. "It's been a long eight weeks at camp wakanaka," the host explained as he leaned against it, "and Total Drama Island is about to come to an end."

Another flash took the scene to Chris standing on top of the main lodge. "Today, two campers remain. By sundown, only one will be left standing."

The news flash took the shoot to the campfire pit. "That camper will go home with a check for a million dollars. Who will it be? Nice and Likeable goofball Molly? A Clip of Molly with a smile was shown. Or Sarcastic Bookworm Christian?" He was shown reading a book.

"Go, grab a snack," The host said as the camera flashed to him on the dock. "Have a pee if you have to, sit your butt down, and get ready for…The dramatic final conclusion of..Total Drama Island!"

"Welcome back," Chris said as the episode opened up to him at the campfire pit. "We asked out finalists to record their thoughts in our confessional booth before going to the final round."

Confessional

Christian - My time here was alright, (Clips of him being hit with a dodgeball and wedgied by the belay were shown) Though, it could've been better.

Molly - How have the last eight weeks been for me? Surprisingly not that bad, (Clips of her Kissing Garry, winning challenges, and talking to Ramona) Even though the hair dye from the last challenge didn't completely wash out, i kinda liked it.

Chef - You think it's easy cooking for 22 ungrateful teenagers? Man i've had better jobs in prison,"

Christian - The food? (Clips of him struggling in the Brunch of Disgustingness were shown.) From what Caleb told me, even prisons aren't that bad.

Chef - And not one bit of appreciation, working all day over a hot stove.

Molly - The food was pretty gross, Chef doesn't know how to cook.

Chef - Doesn't know how to cook?! This ain't a five star restaurant!

Christian - Yeah there were some cool people here, (Clips of him allying with Caleb and Lamar, Talking with Faith, and high fiving Molly were shown.)

Molly - and the people were Good! They were so strong (Lamar was shown during dodgeball) Friendly (Ramona was shown helping Allen) Swett, (Garry was shown walking with Molly.) Smart, "(Christian was show reading a book) Positive, (Louis was shown cheering about a challenge) Polite, (Faith was shown with Molly) Determined, (Erica was shown at the dodgeball game) and Talented, (Allen's love song during the contest was shown) Although there were some people i disliked (Nick, Jonathan, Shawn, Chelsea, Annie and Brenda were shown)

Christian - The one thing I'll be remembered for? (Clips of his sarcastic remarks were shown) My sense of humour.

Molly - What will I be remembered for? My underdog story.

The camera cut to a shot of a tree, before panning out to show Chris in between the two finalists. Christian on the left, Molly on the right. Behind them were a set of wooden bleachers, each with a flag of the finalis's faces.

"Now it's time to welcome the 20 campers who did not make it to the finals" Chris said and gestured to the right. The eliminated campers were shown walking in order of their final ranking, with Wanda coming in first and Nick, wearing a camo camp from the deer hunting episode, finishing up the rear. Molly's cheeks went red as Garry walked past her.

"Would everyone who's walked the dock of shame and left camp on the boat of losers kindly take a seat in the Peanut Gallery Of Failure," Chris instructed. "The side you choose should represent," he continued as the camera showed Evan, Wanda, Allen, Erica, Garry, Jasmine and Ramona sat on Molly's ide of the peanut gallery, "in today's final competition," he finished as the camera showed Louis, Jake, Shawn, Chelsea, Caroline, Faith, Lamar, Jonathan, Annie, Caleb, Donna, Nick and Brenda sitting on Christian's side.

"Nice hat baldie," Ramona snickered. Nick glared back.

Chelsea - There's no way that traitor's gonna win, not if i have anything to do with it

Wanda - I Hope both the finalists try they're best and have a wonderful time!

Nick - I don't want Molly to win, If Chirstian loses then the whole alliance will seem like a failure.

"Christian, Molly," Chris said as the camera cut back to the finale. "It's time to tell the peanut gallery of failure, what you would do with the money if you won, and why you deserve it."

Christian went first. "Honestly, I have thought about it. I don't really have any big plans for the money," He admitted. "So I guess I'll keep it and try to live off it for as long as I can, while also investing some. Try and make more, you know?"

"Way to plan ahead dude!" Louis cheered from the bleachers.

"A sensibile and impressive plan," Jonathan added.

"That's very smart Christian," Chris commented. "Boring, but smart. Molly?"

Molly thought for a moment and said, "I'd pay off my college and then throw a huge cast party!" Chelsea shrugged and she and Shawn walked over to Molly's side of the peanut gallery.

Chelsea - Opinions change.

"It's time for the final challenge," Chris announced. "The Rejected Olympic Relay Race!" The camera flashed to Chef, dressed weird and carrying a flaming punger, running through the woods. "Each of the three parts was pitched to the committee but sadly rejected as an Olympic sport." Chef raised the plunger and dunked it into a toilet on a platform.

The camera flashed back to Chris, holding a cow and chicken hat in each hand, and the Final Two. "First, each of you has to put one of these on," he tossed the cow to Christian and the chicken to Molly.

"You mean the committee wasn't dying to accept this?" Christian asked sarcastically.

Chris ignored him and continued, "Dressed as a cow and chicken, run to the first location," He pointed to the right and the camera quick panned to two flag poles with and orange and purple flag, "And shimmy up the flagpole to retrieve your flag," The camera cut back to the host."If you don't have the flag, don't bother coming off down that pole."

"Something tells me he's gonna have some trouble here," Ramona mused as the camera cut to them.

The shot cut to two planks suspended across two cliffs. "Next, you will cross a three hundred meter balance beam suspended above a massive gorge while carrying an eagle's eggs.

"Well, that sounds easy," Molly commented nervously as the camera cut to her and Chrsitian.

"You'd think," Chris's voice said as the shot cut back to the beans. "But below are your friends, the rare but real, man-eating freshwater sharks." The camera panned down to the bottom of the gorge to show two sharks, the left one licking its lips.

"You were saying?" Christian asked with a pointed look when the shot focused on him.

"The final leg of the race," Chris said, "Is a long distance run, ending at the finish line here. First camper to arrive wins."

Christian and Molly put on they're hats. "Good Luck," Molly said. "I hope i win, but i'd rather lose to you then Nick,"

Christian smiled back. "Same here,"

"Win this Molly!" Shawn yelled when the camera cut to her supporters. "We wanna party!"

"I'll try my best," she replied with a shy smile. They all cheered in response.

"Go Christian!" Faith cheered when the camera cut to Christian's supporters. "Kick her butt!"

"You've got our full support," Lamar added.

"Come on dude!" Louis cheered. "We're rooting for you!"

The camera cut back to the starting line. "On your marks." Chris said and the two finalists went into a running stance. "Get set," they gave each other a competitive smirk. "Go!" They took off on the first leg.

Molly pulled out an early lead, blushing slightly when Garry caught up to her and smiled. The camera panned back to show Christian, flanked by his three biggest supporters. "Go Christian!" Faith cheered. "Seriously, she's ahead of you. Run!" Christian gasped in surprise and ran faster.

Christian - I've never seen Faith act like that before..It's kinda hot.

The footage returned to Molly and Garry running to the flag poles. "You know you don't have to follow me right?" Molly asked him with nervousness.

"I Know," Garry answered. They arrived at the flagpole and Molly started climbing, but kept sliding back down as she climbed.

"Then why are you doing it?" She asked as she kept trying.

"I'm here to help," he explained. "I mean, i don't really trust some of the people here not to do something to sabotage you,"

"Me Either, especially with Nick and Brenda rooting against me, But i don't think they're spiteful enough to ruin my chances of winning," She slid down once more with a frustrated growl. "Why is this pole so slippery?!"

The shot quickly Cut to Nick, winking at the camera while holding a stick of butter.

Molly and Garry returned to focus. "Well if you're here to help-," she started.

"Way ahead of you," he interrupted and pulled a handkerchief from his pocket. He wiped the pole for a second and said, "Try that,"

Molly attempted to climb the pole again and actually made progress. "That is better," she commented as she climbed.

The camera cut to Christian arriving at his flagpole and begging to climb. Louis, Lamar, and Faith tried to push him up to get him to keep up. Louis grunted and fell to the ground. The shot focused on the top of the pole, with Christian coming into view and grabbing the flag. "Ha, i got it!"

"Now jump!" Faith called up, "We'll catch you,"

Christian shrugged and jumped down. The camera cut to the base of the pole where Louis had just gotten back up…Only for Christian to land on him, knocking him down. "I did it!" Christian cheered. "Let's go!"

"Yes, we're all proud of you," Faith said calmly. "But Molly's in the lead, so you need to stop cheering and START RUNNING!"

The camera showed Garry, Molly and Chrsitian running across an open field.

Christian - Seriously..what's her deal?

Faith - I bet Jasmine 100 dollars that Chrsitian will win, that's like a bunch of Lip gloss.

The camera cut to Chris and an unseen white boy dressed for a casual day at the beach at the second leg of the race. "Okay, new intern," the host said. "I know it's a little weird that you're starting on our last show, but all of the other interns are in the hospital" The intern's response was most likely edited out. "All you have to do is test this challenge and see if it's moderately safe,"

The intern looked down and the camera panned to show one of the sharks making a "come here" gesture with its fin. The intern gulped and started across the beam. Chris yelled out, "Don't look down dude!" and the boy fell off into the water. The host winced at the chomping sounds and said, "That looks safe enough."

The scene flashed to Molly and Garry. "I don't think I thanked you for helping me back there," Molly said.

Garry shrugged. "It's alright. you got bigger things on your mind," He pointed ahead and said, "Like that," The camera panned ahead to the start of the second leg. The two walked on screen. "I'll see you on the other side. You got this." He said encouragingly before running off.

Molly looked down into the gorge, the camera inverting to show her face. "This is it," she said. "This is how I die."

(Commercial Break)

The episode returned to a shot of the sharks swimming in the gorge, then it cut to the other side where Garry, Chef and Chris were waiting. Molly was shown grabbing an eagle's egg and started walking across the beam while Chris narrated, "Okay, Molly has her eagle's egg and is starting the second challenge,"

"What's the egg for?" Garry asked when the shot cut back to him.

"Oh, you'll find out," Chef said deviously and chuckled.

The shut cut back to the start of the challenge, where Christian and his entourage had just made it. "So," Faith started, "We can't help you any more from here."

"That was help?" Christian asked.

Faith scowled. "As I was saying, it's all you from here. And we're all rooting for you."

"But don't feel pressured," Lamar said. "We're all you're friend even if you lose,"

"Not helping dude," Louis scolded. All three looked in surprise to find Christian already walking across the beam. A screech grabbed both they're attention and they looked up to see two eagles glaring at them and starting to dive.

"Angry eagle parents?" Chris asked as the camera cut to him, Jonathan and Brenda.

"Are they gonna be okay?" Brenda asked nervously.

"They've made Chris a lot of money," Jonathan answered. "I'm sure he wouldn't let them die, right?" The host just shrugged.

XXXXXXX

Confessional

Jonathan - at first, I was upset when the Gophers voted me off. Now I feel it was a blessing in disguise.

XXXXXXX

"Duck!" Christian yelled as the eagles made another dive at them. "We gotta go!" He yelled.

"Gym class, don't fail me now" Molly whispered to herself as she speed walked down the beam.

The camera cut to the other side, where Nick had just arrived. "Hey man," he said to Garry. "I need something from you." Before Garry could respond, Nick tore his shirt off, leaving him awkwardly standing there.

Molly stopped in her tracks with an almost lustful smile, giving Chrstian time to catch up. The camera panned up to an eagle watching the scene in confusion, and its mate crashing into it with a screech. This was enough to snap Molly out of her trance and keep along the beam.

The camera cut to the empty nest, where each finalist deposited their egg and took off over the finish line.

Chelsea - It looks like I'm gonna have to personally make sure that Christian loses.

Nick - There's no way Molly's gonna win this, I am gonna stop her.

The shot cut to the finish line, panning around to show all the former campers, except for Chelsea and Nick. "Whose in the lead?" Caroline asked.

Caleb who had a spyglass, answered, "Looks like they're still neck and neck,"

"Hey where'd everyone go?" Molly asked her fellow finalist when the camera cut to them.

"Probably back at the finish line," Christian answered. "They wanna see the look on my face when I win." he added with a smirk.

"Hah!" Molly laughed cheerfully. "You Wish!"

"They they are," Chris's voice narrated as seven different angles of the campers race was shown before cutting briefly to him and then back to the race. "Two real competitors, and if i may say, truly personifying the spirit of the Reject Olympics.

Christian and Molly's supporters were shown cheering, except for those to subdued or spiteful to join in.

Confessional

Chelsea - This is my last chance…I really want that party.

The finalists returned to focus, though they were running slower than before.

"I think we may have overdone it on the running," Molly said.

"I think you're right," Christian agreed. The sound of leaves rustling caught their attention and they turned around, the camera switching positions to show they're faces.

The camera cut to the path behind them, and Chelsea and Nick jumping out of bushes on opposite sides. "What are you doing here?" They asked at the same time.

"I'm here to make sure Molly loses," Nick said.

"Well, I'm here to make sure Christian loses," Chelsea answered.

"Not on my watch!" Nick said and kissed her on the lips where she kissed him camera cut back to the confused faces of Christian and Molly before they gave each other a competitive smirk and started running at a normal speed.

The camera returned to the normal side view as the two teens ran towards the finish line. Molly pulled out ahead of Christian, then Christian caught up with and passed Molly, then Molly pulled out ahead and ran off screen.

Christian narrowed his eyes in determination and dove to the ground. The camera followed as he slid and passed Molly, and all the way to the finish line.

Christian's supporters all cheered and crowded the boy as they offered their congratulations. Molly was shown watching the scene with a sad look.

The shot returned to Christian. He let out a dry laugh, then another, then slowly dissolved into hysterical laughter. "I won! I won!"

Allen was shown walking to Molly. "You okay?" he asked his friend.

"Surprisingly," she answered, "yes."

"But what about the million?" he asked.

Christian was shown jumping around in joy, joined by his three friends.

"Money isn't everything," she admitted.

"And the party's dead," Allen added.

"Well, let's go congratulate him." Molly said and walked off screen.

Allen smiled in the direction his friend left, and Christian was heard saying "I have a million dollars! I did It! I did it!" as the scene faded to black.

The shot resumed to a night time shot of the whole island before zooming in on, and switching to, the campfire. The camera panned across the pit, showing all the former campers before switching to Chris.

"Here we are," the host said. "At the last bonfire ceremony ev-er. After eight brutal weeks, it is my pleasure to announce the winner of Total Drama Island, Christian!" He ran up to the host with a huge smile, and the campers were shown cheering for him, except for Chelsea.

"I still can't believe this, I won!" He cheered looking happier then he ever did on camera.

"Oh come on," Molly said with a smile, "You earned it!"

He smiled even wider. "Heck yeah i did," he admitted. "And you know what, i'm throwing a party!" This was met by even more cheers, this time even from Chelsea.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Allen asked Molly.

"I only signed up for this show to get the money," she told him. "Now I know that wasn't the most important thing, it was the people i met and the experiences i had. So I may not have won, but I'm content with everything.

"Christian," Chris said while holding a marshmallow. "At this time, I give you the ultimate symbol of survival," he handed the treat to him and said, "the final marshmallow.

He popped it in his mouth and said, "Tastes like victory."

"So you know what we have to do now right?" Garry asked with a smirk.

"No, Guys," Chris complained as the camera flashed to him being carried down the dock by Garry, Lamar, and Caleb. "My hair."

"One," they said, "two, three!" The boys threw the host of the dock and flailed before falling into the lake. The campers and Chef laughed as he surfaced and spat some water out of his mouth.

"I've been wanting to do that all summer!" Chef taunted. "How do you like that pretty boy?" He said as the camera panned out to show the boys looking at him with smirks.

"Oh Ch-ef," Garry sang.

"You're next dude," Lamar commented. The camera cut to Christian and Molly watching as Chef was chased around the island.

"So looks like it's over," Molly said to Christian.

"Yeah, sorry for beating you," he told her.

She smiled. "No worries."

The final shot of the season was a long distance shot of the island as Garry, Lamar, and Caleb chased Chef around the campground.

Author's Note: And finally it's over, Christian is the winner of Total Drama OC Island. Christian was always planned as the winner and he has to win for his story to transition as well as Molly's.
