Autor's Note

So I ended up going a little overboard and I wrote the longest chapter yet.

I don't really know if a chapter this long is gonna be as good as the previous, but I hope you still enjoy.

-MisterStevenson

It opened on Chris combing his hair at near lightning speed. He flashed the camera a smile before giving a thumbs up to the cameraman.

(Narrated by Chris McLean)

Last time on Total Drama Island! Things got a bit "chilling", as The Frogs of Death and the Ferocious Trout competed in a no-holds-barred…Hockey game! The Ferocious Trout were completely killing the challenge, but The Frogs of Death got their act together, and started to make a comeback.

But in the most anticlimactic finish ever, the Ferocious Trout took home another victory. And another boost to their already huge egos. For his sheer laziness and the fact he lost them the challenge, Zee was the unlucky camper who went home, tough break kid.

Who will be the next camper to be sent packing? Find out in the most dramatic episode yet! Of Total…Drama…Island!

"Cue the music!" Chris exclaimed.

(Fade to Opening and Back Again)

It faded into The Frogs of Death's cabin at nighttime. It showed both the Boy's and Girl's sides, everyone was in a deep sleep. Except for one person. "Ugh…What in the…?" Ripper slowly opened his eyes to the sound of creaking floorboards.

Ripper's eyes shot open when he saw the source of the noise. A dark figure was in the middle of the room, and it was staring straight at him. "What the hell!?" Ripper shouted. This caused Damien to wake up.

"*growl* I swear if you had a bad dr- What the f*bleep* is that!?" Damien nearly jumped out of his bed. The figure quickly ran to the door and slammed it open. Ripper and Damien ran outside to see it disappearing into the forest.

Suddenly, the door to the Girl's side swung open, and Priya, Millie, and Scary Girl ran out. "What is going on?" Priya asked. "Yeah, it's the middle of the night! Y'all better have a good reason for screamin' like that!" Millie added.

"There was this guy just standing in the middle of our room!" Ripper exclaimed. "Bro, you sure that was a person? Didn't look like no man I ever seen." Damien said. "Nu-uh, it was a man! I couldn't make it out completely, but by the little I could see, he was wearing some kind of fur coat, some boots, and maybe a hat?" Ripper recounted.

"That IS weird. Do you think it was Chris scaring us or something?" Scary Girl asked. "Coulda been…Ugh, it's too late to be debating like this, i'm going back to bed." Ripper said. "Woah woah woah, for real!? After what we just saw you're just gonna sleep!?" Damien exclaimed.

"Yeah, tomorrow's the challenge day after all." Ripper said before going back inside. Shortly after that, the girls went back inside too, leaving Damien. "Damn fools, I can't believe Hollywood says we die first in horror situations." Damien grumbled to himself before going back into the Boy's side.

It panned over to the forest to show the figure, leaning against a tree and panting. It looked back at the cabins, then ran offscreen. It then time skipped over to the Mess Hall at breakfast. Both teams were eating some kind of…Another substance for breakfast.

"It looks like pudding…But why is it crunchy?" Scary Girl asked with a grossed-out expression. "I'll bet prison food from America is better than this crap!" Millie exclaimed. "This food may taste horrible. But it has valuable nutrients in it, and your body needs those." Priya said.

Ripper looked up from his "meal" and over at the Ferocious Trout's table. Wayne, Raj, and Emma were all sitting together as usual, MK was playing a video game, but what caught his eye was that Caleb and Bowie weren't even acknowledging each other.

"Hey Scary, you're friends with Emma right?" Ripper asked. "Yep! Why do you ask?" Scary Girl asked. "Well, I noticed that the Trout's power couple don't seem to be as…"Powerful" anymore, why's that?" Ripper asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Oh that, well a couple days ago, they ended up getting into a fight. The details aren't too clear, but apparently Caleb is sick of Bowie not listening to him or something." Scary Girl explained.

"Oh really? That's interesting…" Ripper said, now interested in this little conflict. "*sigh* I just hope they make up soon. I hate seeing friends fight with each other." Scary Girl said. "Me too. Me too…" Ripper added.

It cut over to the Ferocious Trout's table. Wayne leaned over to Caleb. "Hey, you alright man? We all heard that fight you had." Wayne asked. "*sigh* Yeah, i'll pull through. There's been some tension between me and Bowie for quite some time, it had to spill over eventually." Caleb explained.

(Confessional)

Wayne- "Look, me and Raj really bonded with Caleb over the last couple challenges. It hurts to see a buddy like this, hopefully this next challenge won't just make things worse between him and Bowie."

(Confessional End)

After a little bit, Chris walked into the Mess Hall. But he had a weirdly panicked expression on his face. "G-*ahem* Good morning campers!" Chris seemed to regain his composure. "Enjoying your food?" "Define "enjoy" and we'll get back to you." Ripper said.

"I hope you're ready for today's challenge. It's a real blast from the past!" Chris exclaimed before walking out the door. "Huh, he seemed to be in a hurry. Don't you think?" MK asked. "Maybe…I don't really wanna talk at the moment, 'kay?" Bowie asked back.

It cut to a little while later, the eleven campers were now facing Chris. "Frogs of Death, Ferocious Trout, I hope you're ready, because THIS is the location of the first part of today's challenge!" Chris announced.

It panned over to show the Communal Washroom. "Umm…Look, Chris my homie, my main man, I gotta say…This is the weirdest location for a challenge i've ever seen." Damien said. "It's what's inside the washroom that's part of your challenge!" Chris clarified.

"Even worse!" Damien added. Chris merely opened the door, and inside was a multitude of dresses, suits, and accessories. There were various gasps from the girls, and multiple sounds of approval from the boys.

"We decided to go retro with today's challenge. It's time to get ready for the prom!" Chris announced. "*gasp* Did you say…The prom!?" Emma asked. "Yep, for the first part, you all have to pick out an outfit to wear for the second part of today's, or should I say tonight's challenge." Chris explained.

At that, Emma and Scary Girl grabbed each other's shoulders and started to jump up and down. "*squeal* We're going to the Prom! We're going to the Prom!" They both exclaimed. "Oh, I can't wait for my real prom." Millie clasped her hands together.

"I too have wondered what it would be like to experience the Prom. And it seems i'll be able to tonight!" Even Priya seemed to be excited. "All the fancy suits and dresses, the dancing, so romantic." Bowie said, leaving the rest of the guys just watching on the sidelines.

"What is it about the Prom that gets girls all excited? I mean, you wear something expensive that you'll never wear again, you're surrounded by those constantly flaunting their dates, and there's always at least one person who comes alone and awkwardly stands by the punch bowl for the whole night." Ripper said.

"But it is for a challenge. And also, when you get home from this, i'm sure you'll have no shortage of girls surrounding the boy from their school who was on TV." Raj explained. "A buncha honeys linen' up for me? I can get behind that…Along with a few other things if you know what I mean." Damien nudged Wayne.

"...Actually, there probably would be girls who would still go out with you." Wayne said. "Now hol' up! What you mean by-", but before Damien could finish, Chris began talking. "Alright, you've been waiting long enough, but before I say you can begin searching for your outfit, there's another thing I forgot to mention." Chris began.

"To keep this like the Prom, you all need dates, so before the main challenge begins, you must have a date, and it has to be someone from your team, i'd go into more detail but, i'm sure you'll figure out the rest." Chris finished before walking off.

(Confessional)

Chef- "Chris thought he was being all original with this Prom challenge. Then he found out an older Reality show did the exact same thing he was gonna do, so like the bike race he's basically making up the rules as he goes. This is what he gets for not doing his research."

Chris- "Look, how was I supposed to know "The Comeback" did a Prom challenge first? I've always had people do research for me!"

(Confessional End)

It cut to the five girls looking through the clothes. "Oh, what about this one? It matches my hair!" Scary Girl held up a purple dress. "Maybe, but the purple is a slightly different shade." Emma said.

"Hmm…This looks like the sari I wore for the cosplay competition." Priya was looking at a dark blue dress with gold highlights. "But I do want to be more original, but I also like this, what should I pick?" Priya was contemplating her choices, while Millie was looking at some simple one-color dresses.

"I've never looked good in a dress, might as well make it something basic and not over-the-top." She said before cutting to the guys outside. "They're sure taking a long time in there." "You know women, they take longer for everything." Caleb and Ripper conversed.

"This is a very important decision, the kind that even us guys have to be thorough about." Raj said. "Well…Unless your parents plan on what kind of outfit to get you." Wayne added. "So…Is anyone planning on going to their for-real Prom?" Ripper asked.

"Oh you bet WE are." "Yep, we've talked about it before and even if we both gotta go alone…We'll still have an awesome time." Wayne and Raj explained. "I will, especially when my rap career takes off, the bi*bleep*s will be leavin' they dates and flockin' over to me." Damien pointed to himself with a smug smile.

"Maybe when you have a career to begin with that'll happen. But frankly…I'd start preparing on asking a family member to go with you." Ripper said. "...Now you shut your mouth." Damien responded.

"I'm honestly not sure if i'll go or not." Caleb said. "Well, I know i'll be going." Bowie proudly said. "What about you Ripper? You're the one who brought up the question." Caleb asked. "Honestly, I think i'll skip. I don't think Prom's worth it." Ripper responded.

"Not worth it!?" Bowie exclaimed. "Dude, Prom's something you'll remember for the rest of your life! Even if your dateless it's worth going." Raj explained. "Yeah, do you really want to be someone who skipped out on probably the second biggest day of your highschool career, just to play some video games or go to bed early?" Wayne asked.

"...Fine, i'll consider going. But only 'cause you make some decent points." Ripper said. After a little bit more waiting, the girls came out, each holding a dress, a pair of shoes, and a couple might've had some accessories.

"Look alive people! It's our time to shine!" Bowie exclaimed. Before time skipping over to the girls, who were getting ready in The Frogs of Death's cabin. "*gasp* You look so cute in that dress! I'm so glad you ended up choosing that color!" Emma exclaimed.

It panned over to show Scary Girl, sitting on one of the beds, now in a slightly-above-ankle length dress that was a slightly darker shade of purple than earlier, she had a pair of black high heels beside her, and was also putting on a pair of black elbow-length gloves.

"You don't look so bad yourself! I actually feel a little jealous." Scary Girl responded. It then panned over to Emma, who was wearing an orange dress. "And it matches your sweater too." Scary Girl added from offscreen.

It then went over to Priya, who was wearing the blue and gold dress from earlier. "Such a beautiful dress is it not? Perfect for a night such as this." Priya said. "Y'all are takin' this too well. This is Chris we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised if the actual challenge is like…We gotta mess up each other's fancy clothes or something." Millie said, while wearing a plain white dress.

And then we cut over to MK who was wearing…A very ugly-looking dress. "We should expect anything. But for now, let's be optimistic about this." She said. "...Honey, I don't wanna be rude but, I wouldn't be optimistic if I was wearing that." Millie pointed at MK's dress.

"*sigh* I know, Bowie helped me pick out the dress that won my team the cosplay challenge, i'm on my own for this one and I don't know much about style." MK said. "Aw come on, you gotta know somethin' like, name someone who would pick out a beautiful dress by complete accident." Millie said, while Emma looked away at that comment.

"Well, I could just pick out another dress later…That reminds me, how do you think the boys are doing?" MK asked. "The stereotype says that boys get things done quicker than girls do. But in all seriousness…I dunno." Scary Girl shrugged.

It then time skipped backwards to when the boys first went into the Communal Washroom. "I know what i'm dressin' up as, I just hope the stuff's here." Damien said. "This isn't Halloween Damien, it's…You know what? You do you." Ripper said.

The six boys went around looking at the multiple racks of clothes and accessories. "Hey guys, what about this?" Caleb held up a light blue suit. "Hm, that looks good." "Yeah, go for it." Wayne and Raj responded.

Speaking of Wayne, it panned over to show him looking at a plain black suit. "You too huh?" Wayn turned to see Ripper holding a black suit like the one he was looking at. "Yeah, i'm thinkin' of just going with the classic black tux." Wayne responded.

"Oh, this looks pretty sweet." Raj was heard saying. "Anyways, i'm still unsure if i'm even going to my Prom. So for now I might as well just go with the most regular suit color instead of something loud and eye-catching." Ripper explained.

"So…Um, are you a baseball fan?" Wayne asked. "Uh, why do you ask?" "Just making some small talk to pass the time." Wayne explained. "Oh, then yes. I am a fan of baseball, my Dad was a fan, and so was my Grandpa, it's in the family." Ripper explained.

"I asked because that looks just like a Regals jersey. And since I wear the jersey of my favorite team..." "Hm, I see your simple logic. In this instance it's a pretty clear way of thinking." Ripper said.

"You know, this may sound weird but…When I first saw you, I thought you'd be this untrustworthy, manipulative genius or something. But you're actually a pretty cool guy." Wayne said.

"...*inhale* *exhale* And when I first saw you and Raj, I thought you'd be the new Katie and Sadie, two annoying individuals who make me want to tear out my brainstem everytime they speak…! But you're also pretty cool." Ripper tried his absolute hardest to give a non-psychotic-looking smile.

(Confessional)

Ripper- [Ripper was screaming all kinds of profanities.]

(Confessional End)

"Uh-huh, now dat's what i'm talkin' about!" Damien exclaimed. "What is it, did you find something you were looking for?" Raj asked from the other side of a stall. "Hell yeah, but I can't show it off just yet. You all gotta wait till tonight to see me!" Damien exclaimed again.

Just then the stall door opened, and out walked Raj, wearing a white suit jacket, black dress pants, matching dress shoes, and with a red flower pin on his collar. "Well, hello Mr. Bond." "Hey, not a bad look." "That is just fantabulous if I do say so!" Wayne, Caleb, and Bowie commented.

"Oh, I wanna try mine on next!" Bowie grabbed his stuff and ran into an empty stall. "Well, we've already decided on what we're wearing. Might as well…" Ripper said as he and Wayne went into the other stalls.

"Yo Caleb, which one you like better?" Damien held up two gold chains, one with a big gold dollar sign, and one with a tiger head on it. "Tell me you aren't wearing a gold chain to Prom." Caleb pleaded.

"I wear a chain all the time. What's to stop me from wearin' one to a dance?" Damien held up his "D" medallion as he said that. "For God's sake Damien, you're almost eighteen, so please act like it." Caleb said.

"Bowie's almost eighteen and he doesn't act like it." Damien shrugged. "Ugh, I mean have a little more class or something." Caleb clarified. "Class? Alright, I can do classy." Damien said.

(Confessional)

Caleb- "I don't know Damien very well, being on opposite teams and everything. But why do I feel like I made this inconvenience a whole lot worse?"

Damien- "He said be classy. I can add classy on top of my getup."

(Confessional End)

"Get ready gentlemen, because here I am!" One of the stall doors burst open to reveal Bowie wearing a violet suit jacket, green dress pants, and black dress shoes. "It's…Basically your regular outfit, except you're covering your midriff." Raj said.

"Of course i'm the only one to get what I was going for." Bowie crossed his arms. Just then, the other two stalls opened, and out walked Ripper and Wayne in their black tuxedos. "Looking sharp, man." Raj and Wayne shared a fistbump, while Ripper started checking himself out in the mirror.

"Huh, I don't look half bad in a suit." He smirked. "Well, Damien isn't gonna put his suit on yet, so that just leaves you Caleb." Raj said. "Alright, I don't want there to be TWO odd men out." Caleb grabbed the clothes and headed into one of the stalls.

"So next up after this, we all need to get a date to Prom. So what, do we just go up and ask out our teammates?" Ripper asked. "Chris said we'd figure out the rest so…Maybe?" Wayne said.

"Well whatever the outcome, let's hope this episode doesn't cause a bunch of *shudder* shipping wars." Wayne said. "I mean, cartoon characters and stuff I get. But shipping REAL people? Just ridiculous." Ripper commented.

"And i've looked on the Total Drama forums before…They shipped ME with other people." Wayne said. "Why would they ship you with people?" Bowie asked. "I competed in The Ridonculous Race with my Dad a few years ago." Wayne explained.

"Hmm, blonde hair, red hat, basically the same name…Yeah I thought you seemed familiar when I first saw you." Ripper said. Shortly after that conversation, Caleb came out. "So, how do I look?" He asked. He was wearing the light blue suit, and a pair of white dress shoes.

"Rockin' a retro look? Very nice." Raj commented. Then all the guys looked at themselves in the mirror. "Well look at that, we got a bunch of ladykillers on the island!" Wayne exclaimed. But then he looked over at Caleb and Bowie and realized.

"Or boykillers." Wayne added. "This almost looks like a boyband album cover. Well, remove Damien's non-suit wearing body from the picture, then you'd have an album cover." Ripper said.

"Man, screw this! I'm goin' back to the cabin for a while." Damien huffed, before exiting the Communal Washroom with a bunch of clothes. "We should probably grab some ties on the way out, complete the look, y'know?" Raj said.

"So how do you think the girls are getting on? Think they're just now beginning to put on the dresses?" Wayne asked. "I dunno, a majority of the girls getting prepared will probably get cut out of the final episode. So only they will know how long they took." Ripper responded.

"Wait, if they cut out a majority of them getting ready…Does that mean they'll cut out us getting ready too?" Bowie asked. "Nope, and it's because of one simple reason…Those damn double-standards." Ripper began.

It cut to a while later as all the guys walked out of the Communal Washroom, back in their normal clothes and with their Prom clothes wrapped up. "Okay, so now we work on getting dates. And then…The Prom challenge I guess." Caleb explained.

"Alright, let's do this!" Raj exclaimed, then all the guys walked off. After that, it cut to all the girls leaving The Frogs of Death's cabin. "So, we have got everything ready for tonight." Priya said. "Oh, i'm so nervous!" Emma exclaimed.

"We just need our dates, THEN everything will be ready." Scary Girl said. "Actually, I need to go get a new dress, this one doesn't look good." MK said before walking away. Shortly after that, Scary Girl looked as if she just realized something.

"What is wrong? Something appears to be troubling you." Priya asked. "Well, this doesn't concern Emma, since she's from the other team. But there's three girls on our team." Scary Girl began.

"Yeah, so?" Millie responded with. "There are only two guys. Someone's getting left out." Scary Girl finished. The three girls on The Frogs of Death started to look concerned, even Emma, who was still there, was also looking concerned.

"I suppose that is something to worry about." Priya commented. "What? Neither of you should be worrying!" Scary Girl exclaimed. "Woah whoa, what do you mean by that?" Millie asked. "I mean, Priya is most likely gonna be asked by Ripper, you've gat Damien, but I-", "Now hold up there hon. Firstly, yeah Priya's definitely safe, but second, there ain't NOTHING goin' on between me and Damien." Millie explained.

"Really? But you both do that whole back-and-forth thing. I thought it was some kind of flirting." Scary Girl said. "*sigh* Even if Damien somehow became the most successful rapper in the world…I'd rather go out with a bland grocery store cashier than him." Millie said.

"Look, i've gathered from all the times Damien's tried hitting on me, he only wants me for this." Millie motioned to her body. "And not this." Millie pointed to where her brain is. "Personality comes first." She crossed her arms.

"But…Weren't you crushing on Caleb because of his lo-", Emma was in the middle of saying before Millie started clearing her throat loudly. "We don't talk about that. Now, let me get to the point of this whole thing. How about coming with me to Prom as a couple of Gal-Pals?" Millie asked.

"Really? I don't have to be alone tonight?" Scary Girl asked. "Nope, us girls gotta stick together you know?" Millie asked, before getting hugged by Scary Girl. "Thank you so much!" She, well, thanked Millie.

It then cut back over to the guy's POV. First starting with our Daredevil-Hockey Fans. "So, who ya gonna ask out?" Wayne asked. Raj just turned and looked Wayne in the eyes. "Well, even though Caleb and Bowie had that fight, I doubt either of them would go to the Prom with a girl to spite the other, you're obviously gonna ask Emma, which leaves me with…" Raj began.

"MK!/MK!" They both shouted. "Wait a second, what makes you think i'll ask Emma?" Wayne asked. "Dude…You told me you liked her, remember?" Raj asked with a raised eyebrow. "Oh…Right." Wayne responded a bit awkwardly.

"Well, I gotta go get to work on MK. Good luck to you." Raj said before walking off. "Right back at ya man." Wayne smiled before walking off himself. It then cut over to Caleb, who was sitting by himself, looking at the ground.

Ripper looked out from behind a bush, and gave a sinister smile.

(Confessional)

Ripper- "Scary Girl mentioned that Caleb and Bowie had some kinda fight about their relationship. And I know just the way to break my team's losing streak."

(Confessional End)

Ripper snuck out of the bush and walked up to Caleb. "Hey man, what's the matter?" Ripper asked with fake concern. "*sigh* Just thinking about…Things." Caleb answered. "Well I got some time, wanna talk about it?" Ripper smiled.

"...Alright, I guess that might help." Caleb said. Ripper sat down next to Caleb before he began. "Well first off, here's the context for what's about to happen. Back at home, me and Bowie aren't in the same vicinity like we are here. So when I saw him act all flamboyant and self-centered, I kinda liked it, I thought it was quirky." Caleb went on.

"But since you're constantly near him here…" Ripper interjected. "Yep, he never let me do anything, he always cast me to the side and made the focus about him. And he got angry when I was in the spotlight, and a couple days ago, I confronted him about this behavior, and it ended up getting a little…Heated." Caleb explained.

"That's rough buddy. Do you still like him?" Ripper asked. "Well of course I do, he's my boyfriend and I hate that we're fighting, but…" Caleb paused. "But…?" "I have this horrible feeling that maybe…Bowie might not be the right guy for me." Caleb finished.

"*gasp* Seriously? That's a bombshell and a half." Ripper said. "But i'm having doubts, like what should I do? How do I go through with this?" Caleb asked. "Well this is just my opinion but…I'd invite him to the Prom, try reconciling a bit, and if things still don't work out, try letting him off easy." Ripper explained.

"Are you sure?" "You can do whatever, i'm just telling you what i'd do." Caleb and Ripper conversed. "...Thanks man, i've got some thinking to do now." Caleb smiled before getting up. Ripper gave a friendly smile as Caleb walked away, but when Caleb was out of sight, his smile turned slightly less friendly.

Ripper got up and walked to a place that was out of camera-view. "Welp, one of them's gone. Or hell, even if not I might've just laid the foundation for another future ally." Ripper smirked. It then cut over to Damien, who was Crip-Walking over to Millie, who by this point had split up from the girls.

She looked him dead in the eyes with a "are you for real?" look, and Damien stopped in front of her. "Hey baby hey, whatchu doin' out here alone?" Damien asked. "Lemme stop you right there, no i'm not goin' to the Prom with you!" Millie said a little louder than necessary.

"Damn girl, don't gotta hate me, ya just gotta be-", "And rapping ain't gonna help!" Millie exclaimed. "...Pfft too bad for you, 'cause i'm takin' all this with me." Damien motioned to himself.

"Oh, that's got me convinced." Millie rolled her eyes then walked away. "She missin' out big time." Damien grumbled before it cut over to Emma, who was jogging down the beach. "Hey Emma, over here!" Emma looked over to see Wayne standing on a ledge.

"Hey Wayne, how's it going!?" She shouted over. Wayne jumped off the ledge and landed on the sand, then he began running up beside Emma. "Oh not much, how've you been?" He asked.

"Oh, pretty good actually. I'm just taking a little jog down he beach as you can see." "Cool cool…So uh, there was something I wanted to ask you." Wayne said, Emma mentally preparing herself for the question.

"If it's alright with you, would you like to y'know…Be my date to the Prom?" Wayne asked. This caused Emma to stop, and thus causing Wayne to stop as well. "You…Want me to go with you?" She asked.

"Well…Yeah, do you not wanna go? 'Cause I can understand-", but Wayne was interrupted by Emma nearly knocking him over from a running-hug. "Are you kidding? Of course i'll go with you!" She exclaimed, hugging him tighter.

It wasn't until Emma heard gasping noises that she let Wayne go. "*INHALE*...So uh, I guess i'll see ya tonight?" Wayne asked. "Yeah uh, I guess you will." Emma said, embarrassed.

(Confessional)

Emma- "I can't believe it, Wayne's taking me to Prom! Even if it isn't the real thing, it's still exciting…*squeal*!"

Wayne- "I can't believe i'm taking a girl to Prom…I can only imagine my Dad's reaction when this episode comes out. He'll probably be bouncin' off the walls with excitement!"

(Confessional End)

It cut over to Priya, who was meditating on a rock covered in vines. When the sound of footsteps could be heard. "I hope i'm not interrupting anything." Priya opened her eyes to see Ripper standing in front of her.

"Oh, no nothing really…" Priya said before patting the place on the rock next to her. "Would you like to sit down?" She asked. "Thank you, that'd be nice." Ripper sat next to Priya. "Y'know, for the people who usually just hang around the campground area, it's hard to remember just how overgrown the island is." Ripper said.

"That is correct. But the fact it is overgrown gives it a natural and untouched feel, and I find that quite relaxing." Priya explained. "I personally find it a bit scary, because you never know what lurks in the bushes." Ripper added.

"I sense that you did not just come here to make small talk. You have something else on your mind, yes?" Priya asked. "Well, I guess you read my mind. I'll make this short and sweet. Do you wanna be my date to the Prom?" This bluntness caused Priya to jump a little bit.

"M-Me!? Well, I mean…I suppose I c-could go with you." Priya actually started to stutter. "Cool, well i'll let you get back to your thing. See ya later!" Ripper walked off, leaving a very flustered Priya.

It then cut to the inside of the Communal Washroom, MK was looking for a new dress. Then the door opened, and Raj stepped in. "Oh, hey MK. What a surprise to see you he-", "*sigh* I know you're here to ask me out Raj." MK interrupted.

"...How did you guess?" Raj asked. "Well, we all know that Wayne is going to ask out Emma, or vice-versa, Caleb and Bowie will most likely still go together, thus leaving us two as the odd ones out." MK explained.

"Wow…That is a pretty accurate deduction." Raj said, quite amazed. "So yes, i'll go with you. Now I gotta get back to finding a new dress." MK said. "Hm? What happened to the first one you picked out?" "It didn't look right on me, and don't worry, i'll be fine on my own." MK assured.

"Well…Alright then." Raj exited the Communal Washroom before MK held up another dress. "Maybe this one will do?" MK looked at the dress that was 10X worse than the first one. It then quickly cut over to Chris, who was standing in the Mess Hall.

"We've already wasted enough time so I gotta do it now! Will the Prom challenge go off without a hitch? Or will something…I don't know! But find out on Total…Drama…Island!" Chris frantically said before fading out.

(Cut to Commercial)

It faded back in to show Camp Wawanakwa at nighttime. "Attention campers, enough waiting! Get into your fancy suits and dresses, 'cause it's time for the Prom!" Chris' voice was heard over the intercom.

"About damn time!" Damien exclaimed. "Why're you so excited? You don't have a date, remember?" Ripper added. "...Shut up fat boy." Damien said. "Are you really THAT torn up about it?" Ripper continued. "I said shut up!" Damien repeated.

It then cut over to the girls on The Frogs of Death. "Alright, it's happening it's happening!" Scary Girl was breathing quickly. "Yes, now hurry up you two, we must get ready!" Priya exclaimed. "Don't gotta tell me twice." Millie said.

It cut over to the guys on the Ferocious Trout next. "Well gentlemen, it's showtime." Wayne said. "Yeah, i'm gonna show off my talent to the viewing world!" Bowie exclaimed. "Um…Phrasing?" Raj said, wondering if he was using the right context.

"Let's just get our suits on." Caleb grabbed his and pointed towards the door. It panned over to the next room, showing Emma and MK gathering up their Prom clothes. "Can you believe this? For once i'm actually excited for a challenge. I didn't think that was possible!" Emma started to clutch her dress tightly.

"Still, this seems a little too easy dontcha think?" MK asked. Emma turned around and for the first time got a look at MK's new…Dress. "MK that…Looks…Great." Emma said with a strained smile.

"Does it? It took me a little bit to find one that could replace the first one." MK said with pure obliviousness. They finished gathering up their stuff and went out to meet up with the rest of the girls.

Meanwhile, back with the boys. The six were heading over to the Communal Washroom, Caleb went in first, but what followed was a lot of screaming, and a panicked Caleb running out.

"Dude, what happened!?" Raj asked. "...The girls beat us here." Caleb answered. "Hold up, really?" Damien asked. Damien seemed like he was about to rush in before being stopped by both Wayne and Raj.

"Don't do it bro, you'll only regret it." Raj said before two pairs of footsteps were heard. "Oh hey guys, what's going on?" Everyone looked back to see Emma and MK walking towards them.

"Oh, we all thought you were getting ready in one of the cabins again. But Caleb found out the hard way that wasn't the case." Ripper explained. "Oh my…" Emma said, a little red in the face. "Yeah, "oh my" indeed." Ripper added.

"Well, I guess now WE'VE got no choice but to get ready in one of the cabins now." Wayne said. "You better not try anything, got it G?" Damien looked at Bowie. "Loud and clear!" Bowie stood up straight.

The boys then walked away as quickly as they got there, leaving Emma and MK alone to enter the Communal Washroom. They entered to see the other girls putting on makeup, brushing their hair, and putting on-, but suddenly the screen paused.

"Yeah, Chris here with Post-Production. I think we all have had enough filler so let's skip to the Prom." Chris' voice said as it fast forwarded to Chris standing in the Mess Hall, which had been renovated to look more Prom-Like.

"Alright people, enough waiting! It's time to dance!" Chris (who was now wearing his suit from Action) announced. "But Chris, the girls ain't exactly here yet." Wayne said from offscreen. It then panned over to show all the boys.

They were back in their suits from earlier, but now wearing bowties (and Wayne wasn't wearing his hat). And Damien was finally wearing his Prom clothes, it was a purple suit, white dress shoes, a big coat…He was dressed like a pimp.

"That's the thing, you know how when you go to pick up your date, and you gotta wait with her Dad, and then after a while…She finally descends the stairs and your left breathtaken." Chris explained.

"So more waiting? Yippee…" Ripper said sarcastically. After some waiting, the first girl came in, it was Emma in her orange dress, and wearing a pair of white high-heels. But now her hair was also down.

"*whistle* What a catch. Well, go get 'em tiger!" Raj gently shoved Wayne towards Emma. "Um, hey…Nice dress." Wayne awkwardly said. "Thanks, nice suit." She responded. "Ah, young love. Now onto the next one!" Chris exclaimed.

Then Priya walked in, wearing the blue and gold dress. Ripper walked up to her. "I gotta admit, you pull that off pretty well." He said. "Well, you did once say that I could pull off wearing just about anything." Priya added.

After that, both Millie and Scary Girl walked into the Mess Hall. "So you two decided to come together?" Chris asked. "Yeah, we'd rather come to the Prom as friends than one of us come with THAT guy over there." Millie explained, pointing at Damien.

"Ayo, whaddup with all the Damien hate all of a sudden?" Damien asked. "Take one look at that outfit and you'll see why." Millie rolled her eyes. "She may have a point, that probably isn't the best thing to wear to Prom." Raj said.

"And finally, here's…MK!" Chris announced. But whatever background music that was playing was replaced with a record scratch when MK entered the Mess Hall. It briefly focused on MK, and…Ugh! (Insert Flapjack AUGH! Sound effect).

Raj shuffled over to MK. "Um…You look great." He said with a fake smile. "...*sigh* It's bad isn't it?" She asked. "Yeah, it's pretty bad." Raj responded. "Well…I appreciate your honesty." MK said.

"Okay, so now that everyone's here, here's the rules! Our resident DJ will play three songs, and you will all be judged by how well you dance to them. The team with the most collected points by the end, wins immunity!" Chris explained.

"Damien, since you're the only one without a date, you have to be the guy who stands by the punchbowl for the whole night." Chris said. "Aw this some bulls-*bleep*" Damien said as he walked over to a table with both a large punchbowl and a giant cake.

"Damn…On second thought, maybe I don't mind this." Damien smirked. "I get you're going for authentic, but why the cake?" Ripper asked. "Well, this challenge was originally going to be that whoever can mess up their partner's clothes more would be the winner. But I changed it last minute." Chris explained.

"All right, now get to your positions. 'Cause this challenge has officially…Started!" Chris announced. So as instructed, Wayne got with Emma, Ripper got with Priya, Raj got with MK, Millie and Scary Girl paired up, and finally, Caleb and Bowie paired up.

It cut to Chef who was at a music table, and then he started to play a song with a normal rhythm to it. Emma and Wayne were meshing pretty well, Ripper was looking out of place against Priya's more foreign dancing, Raj was keeping a slight distance from MK, mostly because of what she decided to wear tonight, Millie and Scary Girl were doing some kind of synchronized dance move, and Caleb and Bowie seemed to be getting along well, but there was still a hint of tension.

The song ended after a couple of minutes, and Chris walked back onscreen. "Not bad people, not bad. I saw some nice moves out there, but how will you react to a more fast-paced song? Hit it!" Chris exclaimed.

Then a more fast-paced techno song began playing. Everyone was scrambling this time. Wayne could barely make any coherent moves because of the song's pace, and Emma was dancing like an awkward Middle-Schooler.

Priya was keeping up surprisingly well, but Ripper looked like he was about to pass out. Raj was just about in the same position as Wayne, and MK ended up tripping over her dress and taking out Raj with her. Millie and Scary Girl were complete opposites, Millie was barely dancing anymore, while Scary Girl looked like she was having the time of her life.

Caleb and Bowie were going pretty fast too, but they also seemed to be bickering with each other. Thankfully the song didn't last as long as the last one, and when it ended, just about everyone dropped from exhaustion.

"Alright, if it was too much for you then we'll take a brief intermission to let you catch your breath." Chris said.

(Brief Intermission)

"Okay, now it's down to this…The dreaded…Slow dance!" Chris announced. That caused several of the campers to gasp, some for different reasons. "Now get back into positions, and let's see who brings home the crown!" Chris exclaimed.

After everyone paired up again, Chef began the slow song. It panned over every camper. "...Ouch!" Wayne said. "Sorry, I don't mean to keep stepping on your foot." Emma whispered. "Don't worry, just follow my lead okay?" Wayne instructed. Emma looked down and began to mimic Wayne's footsteps.

"You know, you're a lot better than this than I thought you'd be." Emma commented. "My Mom was a dancer back in the day, it musta rubbed off on me." Wayne said before noticing the camera on them. "I know what you're dirty minds are thinking, she didn't do THAT kind of dancing!" Wayne exclaimed, but not too loudly.

"Um…" Emma's voice awkwardly interrupted. "Hehe, sorry about that." Wayne apologized.

(Confessional)

Wayne- "...Maybe I should've just left my Mom out of it and taken the compliment…"

(Confessional End)

It then cut over to Millie and Scary Girl, who both had weird looks on their faces. "So uh-", "I think it's best we just get through this as soon as possible." "...Yeah, you're right." Scary Girl and Millie conversed.

Meanwhile with Ripper and Priya, Ripper was trying his best to keep up. "Ripper, you are struggling. What is wrong?" Priya asked. "You're style of dancing is just so much different than mine. Or maybe you're just better altogether." Ripper explained.

"Do not say that. If you are having trouble, than I will adjust to fit more with your style of dancing. Is that okay?" Priya asked. "Actually…Yeah that is okay." Ripper responded. "Excellent, I am happy that I could solve your problem." Priya said before slowly changing her style of dance.

Raj and MK were next, Raj still seemed to be keeping his distance a little bit. "I get that the dress I picked is ugly, but do you have to keep acting like that?" MK asked. "I'm sorry MK, I really am. But that dress just reminds me of something that my Aunt would always wear." Raj said.

"Your Aunt? Was she weird or something?" MK asked. "IS she weird. She herself is still alive, not so much the "something" she always wore. But anyway, yeah she is a little weird, she always wears things with super bright and always-clashing colors, no offense to her…But my eyes are always assaulted when she comes to visit." Raj explained.

"Wow, can't imagine something like that. Annoying family members are the worst." MK said. "Hey um, I don't really wanna buy into the whole stereotype but…Are your parents like, super strict about everything?" Raj asked.

"What, the strict Asian parents stereotype? Well to be honest…No, they're actually pretty chill. In fact, my Mom was the person who introduced me to video games. But that's not to say they're pushovers either, they still want me to succeed in life." MK explained.

"But shouldn't everyone's parents want them to succeed?" Raj asked. "Well sure…Hey uh, I think we should get back to dancing before we get penalized or something." MK pointed out. "Oh, right!" Raj exclaimed before briefly cutting over to Damien.

Damien was sitting at a table, he had a cup of punch and a big slice of cake. "*eating noises* This some good cake." He said before finally cutting to Caleb and Bowie. "Look, I asked you because I wanted us to reconcile, I don't want to hang on to this." Caleb said.

"And i'm telling you that it isn't gonna be as simple as that, you betrayed me Caleb." Bowie responded. "Betrayed? How'd I betray you?" "You've been making all these big decisions…And you've never once consulted me about it!" "I shouldn't have to run every little thing by you, and I also do try to tell you things, but you NEVER. LISTEN!" Caleb and Bowie argued.

"Where is this all coming from? You never said these kinds of things back home!" Bowie exclaimed. "Well after spending basically every waking moment with you, my eyes have opened a bit!" They didn't even notice the music stop.

"So you're saying I wasn't the person you thought I was, is that it?" Bowie asked "...You're DAMN right that's what it is!" Caleb harshly responded. Everyone else was just staring at the display unfolding, even Chris was looking on.

"And you know why that is? Because you're a huge attention-seeker, you always talk me down, and you get mad whenever the attention is on me!" Caleb shouted. "This is all leading up to something, spit it out already!" Bowie also shouted.

"Bowie…I'm sorry, but i'm officially breaking up with you." Caleb said in a more calm manner. "...What did you say?" Bowie asked. "You heard me, as of tonight, we're no longer together." Caleb reiterated.

But before Bowie could say something else, Caleb walked out of the Mess Hall, leaving Bowie alone on the dance floor. "Well…That was certainly…Something." Chris finally said. "So, compiling the results of the Prom challenge, it's safe to say that the winners are…The Frogs of Death." Chris said with less energy than usual.

And for once, there was no cheering. Just awkward silence at the fact everyone just witnessed two people break up. The only one remotely smiling…Was the person who suggested they partner up to begin with.

"*ahem* Well Ferocious Trout, I won't sugarcoat it, it's time to vote someone off. I'd think this over very carefully." Chris said.

After that, it cut over to the bonfire pit. The six remaining members of the Ferocious Trout were still in their Prom clothes.

"A lot happened today. There was love, dancing, and a breakup. But unfortunately there's also an elimination, bad luck for you guys." Chris said. "Now, there's five marshmallows on this tray. You better hope you get one, 'cause if you don't, you gotta take a stroll right down the Dock of Shame, ride the Boat of Losers, and you can't come back…EVER!" Chris explained.

"...Raj, Wayne, Emma, and…MK!" Chris called out, until Caleb and Bowie were the only two left. "Both of you, the tension between the two of you has been unnerving the other people on your team. And that came to a point where it cost your team the win. So with that in mind, the unlucky loser going home is…" Chris paused.

"Bowie." Chris said before throwing Caleb the final marshmallow, and leaving Bowie with a gobsmacked expression.

(Confessional)

Wayne- "He may have been part of the reason that we lost the challenge…But Caleb's a cool guy. He's never led us astray, and I respect that in a person."

Raj- "All the tension was driving me crazy, this may be controversial, but I like Caleb more over Bowie because he's a WAY more subtle guy than Bowie…I think you know what I mean by "subtle"."

Emma- "I don't know him as well as the other boys but…He seems like a good guy."

MK- "I'm sorry but…Bowie's helped me in the past, and I can't ignore that."

Bowie- "I can't believe you'd do this to me! And over a little thing like that!?"

Caleb- "...*sigh* I'm sorry, but maybe we just aren't the right guys for each other."

(Confessional End)

It cut back to Bowie (now in his normal clothes) waiting for the Boat of Losers. "I can't believe this…I just…I'm too mad to even speak right now." Bowie said before the Boat of Losers finally came. Bowie got on, then it drove away.

It panned over to Caleb and the rest. "You kept me over him?" Caleb asked. "Well yeah man, you've helped this team so much, it'd be stupid to let ya go over an argument!" Wayne exclaimed.

"And also, you're more bearable to be around than Bowie, so…" Emma said. "...Aw come here guys!" Caleb then initiated a group hug, everyone was smiling, but MK was only half-smiling.

Chris appeared back onscreen. "So now that the Ferocious Trout's winning streak has been broken, can The Frogs of Death keep at it? And will things start to mellow out now that the tension between Caleb and Bowie is gone? Find out on the next episode of Total…Drama…Island!" Chris announced before the cameras cut off.

"That was EXHAUSTING! Hopefully nobody from "The Comeback" complains about the challenge or something." Chris walked off before cutting back to the Ferocious Trout, now walking back towards the Mess Hall.

"So, you gonna rejoin the Prom? Chef said it'll be open for another few hours." Emma asked. "I don't know. I kinda killed the mood earlier, I wouldn't feel right just coming back again." Caleb answered.

"Come on, it wasn't entirely your fault. And you'd also be putting that nice suit to waste!" Wayne exclaimed. "Well…Alright, maybe for a little bit." Caleb said, before everyone went inside.

Without a challenge in mind, no one was dancing as if they were being judged. Damien was out on the dance floor busting a move, Emma and Scary Girl were enjoying some cake and laughing about something, and even Caleb was enjoying himself, acting as if a huge weight had been lifted.

A few hours passed and everyone began filing out. "You know what…? I'm glad I came back, that was pretty fun!" Caleb said. "And you wanted to skip out. A lot of people miss out on fun stuff because of skipping." Wayne said, before zooming in on the treeline.

The infamous figure was watching the whole group leave the Mess Hall. Then a rabbit hopped up next to them and made a noise. "I know, they are a strange lot aren't they, eh?" The figure said before zooming out to show the entire island.

Author's Note- Post Script

So that's the end. I honestly don't know why I wrote the chapter this long, I mean the challenge was barely part of it to be honest.

So it actually kinda became more of a character-building chapter/episode now that I think about it.

But anyways, some small stuff. Like the show "The Comeback, and Chris' original plan for the challenge are both references to the fanfiction, "Total Drama Comeback", where there's also a Prom challenge.

Well this is getting pretty long, so look out for the next chapter of Total Drama Island: 2022 Season!
