Welcome back to "Through the Rough", everyone! Got some more original content for you all before we get into the season finale stuff! With Rebecca getting back into class before Izuku and Katsuki, one has to wonder what she'll get to learn before either of them.
Well, I guess it's time to find out what that'll be!
THROUGH THE ROUGH
"Hah…" Rebecca exhaled, relieved to be putting on her school uniform for the first time in what felt like forever since the start of her house arrest. Wearing it now felt cathartic, especially in the wake of all that had happened. And she realized that today was going to be interesting. This would be the first day in class where she wouldn't get to learn with her boyfriend.
It would only be for one day, but it still bothered her a little. As she exited her dorm room, she was greeted by both Toru and Kyoka, who seemed really excited to have her back in class. They ventured down to the common space with their bags in hand, walking by a sweeping Izuku and a vacuuming Katsuki.
"Morning, boys!" the invisible girl greeted, "All ready for another day of cleaning?" she assumed of them.
"Yeah, pretty much…" the One For All inheritor responded, "I still have to finish my written apology, too…" he mentioned, sheepishly scratching at his left cheek.
"No doubt yours is probably gonna be better than jerkface's over there…" Kyoka remarked, making Katsuki scoff upon overhearing.
"Let's not poke the bear, Kyoka…" Rebecca advised, holding her hands up in a placating. She then went over to give her boyfriend a kiss on the cheek, "See you after class?" she guessed afterwards.
"Y-Yeah," he stammered out with a nod, making her giggle. She then left alongside her female classmates, waving goodbye.
"Hmph," Katsuki huffed once they were gone, getting his rival's attention.
"Something you wanna say, Kacchan?" he questioned, grabbing his broom and sweeping up more the dust on the floor. The Explosion Quirk glanced away for a moment.
"I always hated how she stood up for you," he confessed, making Izuku stop for a moment as he looked back at his rival, "Not just because you used to be a Quirkless failure, but because… she actually treated you like a friend," he explained, "Honestly, I never really had anyone like that…" he admitted, "And now that you two are a thing, it pisses me off even more…" he confessed on. The freckled teen was surprised by what the Explosion Quirk user had to say. However, he just smiled.
"Well, you've got guys like Kirishima and Kaminari looking to you for advice…" he pointed out, "And I think even Granbell has a lot of respect for you, even though he might not outwardly show it…" he mentioned on, "I mean, he invited you to I-Island, didn't he?" he inquired, causing Katsuki to blink in surprise.
"Hmph," he huffed again, "Just finish sweeping up over there already," he insisted, deciding to drop the subject, "You got the new stain remover, right?" he assumed.
"Yep," the One For All inheritor replied. Conversations were starting to feel a bit more normal between him and Katsuki. But only time would tell if they would get better.
OPENING
Insert "New Genesis" by Ado
Opens with Rebecca dressed in her hero costume, with her hair now in pigtails as she looks toward the dawning sky. The wind waves through her hair before she looks back and smiles to see the rest of Class 1-A, with her boyfriend standing at the front as he smiles. The title logo comes on screen.
As the music picks up, we get shots of each member of Class 1-A in training, thinking about their battles in the U.S.J., the Sports Festival, the hero killer attack in Hosu, the Müller raid in Shibuya, the final exams of the first semester, the forest training camp attack, and the incident in Camino. Everyone's motivating each other as they prepare to enter the next phase in order to become heroes. They all stand outside an exam center together, having determined looks on their faces.
There are several scenes of Homura drawing her energy blades to block off rubber balls being sent towards her, Denki, and Momo, Minoru unleashing a barrage of his sticky balls to trap opponents, and Fumikage releasing Dark Shadow as it covers him like armor. We see Weisz equip his Arsenal armor as he speeds past everyone alongside Tenya and Izuku. However, they're brought to a halt as the wind picks up around them.
They look to see that it's courtesy of Inasa Yoarashi, whose grin is wide until he spots Shoto through the crowd, making him glare with contempt. Other Shiketsu students are on the scene, including the likes of Milani Lucra, Nasseh Saimin, Lyra Dekki, and Callum Steelford. There's also students from Ketsubutsu Academy, which also includes the likes of Orc, Mora, and Britney.
We watch as Rebecca finds herself forced into battle against Britney, running around from her smoky form while using her new pulse blasters to try and throw her off. Orc confronts Izuku, while Mora locates Katsuki. The three U.A. students fight on with all their effort.
Meanwhile, Shiki has his green markings expand as he flies across a ruined battlefield to confront Gang Orca, who blows him back with a sonic blast. Ochaco catches him in midair, followed by Kyoka plugging her earphone jacks into her amps to unleash a soundwave that tears through the ground. Mashirao and Tsuyu join in the fray, taking care of Orca's minions in the exercise.
During his ordeals, Katsuki starts thinking about what had happened with All Might back in Camino. He looks toward Izuku, who is running beside him, and then at Rebecca. He brushes his thoughts off for the moment, continuing onward.
We get a shot of Nero in his office with Ijuna, the League of Villains hiding out in a warehouse, Overhaul and the Shie Hassaikai looking over a car fire, Kris finding the likes of Rogue Out, and Laguna meeting with the imposing figure of Goodwin. The song winds down as Rebecca brushes her back and smiles toward the horizon with her boyfriend. Their classmates all stand behind them, ready to become heroes.
END OPENING
"Welcome back, Rebecca!" Minoru exclaimed, lunging toward the Cat Leaper Quirk user with his arms outstretched, "In Midoriya's place, I will personally smother you—!" Tsuyu's tongue wrapped around him, yanking him away in a yelp.
"Stop that, ribbit," she insisted with a croak, tossing him onto the floor. Rebecca chuckled sheepishly.
"It's good to see you back in the classroom, Bluegarden," Tenya noted in greeting as he held his right hand out, "However, I expect you to perform your best to make up for lost time," he mentioned seriously.
"Dude, chill," Kyoka insisted in response, putting her hands at her hips, "It's not even her fault in the first place," she pointed out.
"It's okay, Kyoka," the Cat Leaper Quirk user assured as she placed a hand onto her shoulder, "I knew coming back after two days would be a grind, so I'm ready," she affirmed, clenching her left fist determinedly.
"NOW THAT'S WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR, YEAH!" Hizashi suddenly screamed, causing her and the others to flinch in surprise.
"Wait, Present Mic?" Toru uttered out afterwards, "Where's Mister Aizawa?" she inquired curiously.
"Eraser had to play hooky since some detectives came by to ask him and Mister Vlad King about some stuff that's been goin' on," the Voice Quirk user answered, "So you've got me for rollcall and first period English as usual, yeah!" he exclaimed excitedly, "And I see we've got the return of Miss Bluegarden today!" he mentioned.
"Uh, yeah…" the Cat Leaper Quirk responded nervously, not used to how boisterous her teacher was being. Elsewhere in Nezu's office, Naomasa was showing Shota, Sekijiro, and Toshinori security footage on a laptop. The three teachers took notice of a familiar figure in a leather jacket with blue lip gloss. The Blood Control Quirk user narrowed his eyes with frustration.
"Yeah, that's Husert alright…" he confirmed in frustration.
"So he's no longer associating with the League from the look of it…" the former hero noted.
"Yes, but this doesn't seem much better," the detective chimed in, pausing the security feed with a click of a button, "This was captured outside of the Port of Kobe, which used to be a villain hotspot in your early days, All Might," he explained to the group.
"Are you saying Husert's planning to ally himself with another villain group?" Shota assumed.
"There's a real possibility," Naomasa responded, "Kobe hasn't been used in years, so it's the perfect hideaway for small-time villains," he told the U.A. staff, "Or perhaps… a rebellion group," he suggested to their surprise.
"Only one name comes to mind from that front…" All Might noted, lowering his head slightly.
"Oasis…" Sekijiro muttered out, clenching his fists.
"Why would Husert go to them over being back with the League?" the Erasure Quirk user inquired.
"We're not certain just yet," Nezu replied, "The academic records of Husert, Slime and the Rutherford siblings were lies and forgery, so we don't have much to go off of…" he explained, "However…" he continued, looking toward Naomasa, who nodded.
"We did catch onto rumors that Husert used to be a target of Poseidon Nero's," he told the teachers, who all widened their eyes, "Given the circumstances, I'd say he's looking outside of the law in order to get protection," he inferred.
"Poseidon Nero…" All Might uttered out.
"That's not a name I've heard in a long time…" Shota admitted, "Same with Oasis…" he mentioned on. Sekijiro narrowed his eyes.
"What about Kris?" he inquired curiously, getting everyone's attention, "Are there any updates on his location?" he questioned on.
"Unfortunately, no," the detective answered with a shake of his head, "Even with the knowledge from his sister that he used to be a part of Rogue Out, they're constantly moving," he pointed out, "If we do manage to pinpoint them, we'll let you know," he assured. A few moments later, the Blood Control Quirk user found himself growling as he sauntered down the hall with Toshinori and Shota behind him.
"He definitely seems hot-blooded at this point…" the former pro whispered.
"I can't blame him, knowing that two of his students involved with the villains are still out on the loose," the Erasure Quirk user responded.
"That's a little harsh, Aizawa…" Toshinori pointed out.
"It's the truth," the Class 1-A teacher replied, closing his eyes for a moment, "That's the harsh reality we have to live with right now," he mentioned firmly. Meanwhile, in a warehouse outside of the Port of Kobe, Laguna stood in the shadow of a large figure that glared down onto him.
"So, your plan with that group of street freaks didn't pan out, huh?" he guessed, making the Tears Lover Quirk user tense up.
"If it wasn't for All Might and those other heroes, we would've stood a chance against Nero," he argued.
"That what you think, Laguna?" the figure before him inquired, "Let me ask, because apparently you forgot…" he continued, "Poseidon Nero's one of those rare ones when it comes to Quirks," he pointed out, "Do you really think someone like Drakken would've been able to defeat him?" he inquired, causing the Tears Lover Quirk to grimace again.
"Maybe not him, but…" he started to respond, lowering his gaze.
"Huh…" the figure sighed, coming into view. He was a giant cat man with light-brown fur, a muscular build, right earring, a scar on his right eye, and two distinct tattoos on each shoulder. He wore a sleeveless jacket with a fur collar that was held together by two belts and an undershirt with cloverleaf patterns, wristbands with flame patterns, white pants with a sash, and shoes. "I'm not mad at you, Laguna," he confirmed, "I know you want Nero to fall as much as I and the rest of Oasis do," he mentioned on, "But now, we're gonna do it our way," he advised seriously, letting off a smirk, "And that starts by giving the heroes some help," he declared additionally.
The Tears Lover Quirk user sighed in realization. If this was for the best, then so be it. There was much that needed to be done…
X
"Ugh…" Rebecca groaned, setting her food tray down as she plopped onto her seat in the cafeteria, "My brain's fried…" she grumbled out.
"Well, I suppose that's the price you pay for needing to catch up with the rest of the class after two days…" Momo noted as she sat down next to her with Kyoka.
"Still, Ectoplasm and Cementoss didn't have to go at her that hard today…" the Earphone Jack Quirk user pointed out.
"Two days in, and I feel just as overwhelmed…" Mina commented.
"Yeah, same…" Ochaco agreed. Sitting upright and eating her food, the Cat Leaper Quirk user was still growing curious over the work studies that were mentioned the other day. Was it another form of the internships? Or was it something else?
"Oh shoot, I forgot a drink…" she grumbled upon noticing something missing from her tray, "I'll be back in a bit," she promised, getting up from her seat and heading off.
"After today, she's definitely gonna need a breather…" Toru commented.
"Spa day, anyone?" Mina offered immediately with a smile.
"Pass," Kyoka responded bluntly, "Why not just do another movie night?" she suggested as she shrugged.
"I think that's a wonderful idea, Jiro!" Momo agreed, "We can have a relaxing evening for Rebecca's sake and enjoy another of those superhero films," she pointed out thoroughly.
"Awesome!" Ochaco exclaimed with a pump of her fist. Meanwhile, Rebecca thanked one of the employees for handing her the can of coffee she was given. It would be perfect to get her energy back on track after all the learning she had to go through in the morning. Just as she was about to open it though…
"Hey there!" a voice greeted, causing her to yelp as a figure stepped out in front of her. It was a tall young man with a very muscular build who possessed a number of noticeable scars around his lower arms. He had blue oval-shaped eyes with no visible sclera, and a nose which is prominently rounder than most others. He also had blond hair, the top part of which was arranged in a cowlick, while the bottom section was worn swept backward. "So you're one of the other first-years involved in that whole scuffle that happened a couple days back, right?" he inferred to the Cat Leaper Quirk user's surprise as she blushed with embarrassment.
"Well… uh…" she stuttered out, looking away.
"Hahaha!" the young man laughed, "No need to be embarrassed, my friend!" he assured, placing a hand onto her shoulder as she squeaked a little, "I get the feeling we'll be getting to know each other more real soon!" he inferred, "But for now, it was great meeting you!" he declared, heading off. Watching him go, Rebecca tilted her head in confusion, wondering who he was.
"Hey, Rebecca!" Mina called out, getting her attention, "Mind if I dig into one of your meat buns?" she inquired, taking some food off of her classmate's tray as she slowly opened her mouth.
"Ah, hey!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user yelled, hurrying over to reclaim her food. After lunch and a few more classes, it was time another round of hero training. Rebecca was relieved to see that Shota was there in Gym Gamma, with all the students dressed in their P.E. clothes.
"What happened this morning, Mister Aizawa?" Mina asked curiously as she raised her right hand.
"Nothing relating to any of you for the moment," he vaguely answered, "More importantly, we should be focusing on getting all of you ready prior to the school's decision on the work studies," he told his students.
"Can we get a refresher on that?" Kyoka requested, "I mean… for Rebecca, that is…" she mentioned, sheepishly scratching at her right cheek.
"Fine," the Erasure Quirk user replied, "The work study program for UA is similar to the internships, except now you have more opportunities given that most of you have received your provisional licenses," he explained, "You'll be able to make use of the connections you made during the Sports Festival to either intern under a hero you worked with previously or someone new," he told the class.
"Wow…" Rebecca uttered out, "Sounds a little more complicated than the last time…" she admitted, putting her hands onto her hips.
"Which is why we're making the training for you all a little tougher," Shota noted, "For first-years, you're already excelling beyond expectations in terms of performance and growth," he pointed out, "But now, we need to make sure you're truly ready to handle that in the field," he stated firmly, "So today, we'll start with one-on-one trainings," he decided as behind him, there were several small raised, round platforms courtesy of Cementoss.
"In this exercise, you'll be paired up on these platforms," the Cement Quirk user explained, "The goal for you all is to get your opponent to either yield or push them off of the platform," he told the students.
"Seems easy enough…" Weisz remarked confidently.
"You're not allowed to use your Quirks either," Shota pointed out, much to everyone's surprise, "This is to test everyone's ability to deal with problems without having to always rely on your powers," he said, "Go Plus Ultra and don't disappoint me," he advised seriously.
"Yes, sir!" his students all responded. The matchups between the students would switch every five minutes unless some were already decided in the allowed time. Ochaco had the misfortune of being paired up with Shiki.
"Let's do our best, Ochaco!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user insisted with a big grin. His opponent trembled a little, not because she was scared of fighting him, but mainly due to the fact that she recalled when she accidentally pinned him to the floor in class. Nevertheless, she understood that this was a serious exercise, so she needed to do her best.
Shiki rushed toward her, only for to pivot to the side to evade him, aiming to land a chop at his neck. However, he managed to grab her left arm by the wrist, pulling her toward him as she yelped. She quickly swung her right leg around with the added momentum to kick his face, which he blocked with his own left arm before letting go of hers.
They continued to exchange blows, with Shota watching on curiously. Most of the other battles were standard. Ones like Rikido and Mezo were easily making Yuga and Minoru respectively yield. Kyoka managed to get the upper hand over Mashirao thanks to her earphone jacks, which were hard to block against. There was also Homura overtaking Denki and pinning him to the ground, though he seemed to like it…
The Erasure Quirk user sighed, looking over to one platform in particular. Rebecca and Momo were facing off, taking ready stances. The Cat Leaper Quirk user made the first move, rushing in to try and land a flurry of jabs. Her opponent parried them all before managing to land a punch to her foe's left shoulder, making her grimace. She then ducked from the Creation Quirk user's right leg being swung at her, followed by leaping up and striking her stomach with both of her feet while she was off-balance. She stumbled back, managing to catch herself just as she reached the edge of the platform.
She breathed heavily as sweat trickled down her face. But she smiled. Rebecca did, too. This training reminded of their time as interns under Jaguar, sparring under his watchful eyes.
"Here I come!" the Cat Leaper Quirk user declared, charging in again. Instead of waiting for her, Momo also made a charge. The two met, exchanging blows rather furiously, parrying each other's hits while also withstanding others.
"Agh…!" Weisz grunted out after falling off of his platform, having been handed a loss thanks to Tsuyu. They looked over to see the class deputy and her current partner sparring rather ferociously on their platform. Almost everyone was watching the pair continue to do battle.
"Seems those two really took on Jaguar's lessons…" Cementoss commented as he walked up to Shota's side.
"I always thought he was a bit too violent given the nature of his Quirk," the Class 1-A teacher admitted, watching as Rebecca's next kick to Momo's stomach was barely blocked in time, "But for those two, I think it's necessary," he noted on with a grin.
"I agree," the Cement Quirk user concurred with a smile. After barely managing to stop a punch with her left hand, Rebecca reared her right fist back, while Momo clenched her left one. They thrusted them out at each other, passing by before managing to strike each other's faces. Many of the students gasped, seeing them fall off of the platform they were upon, landing on the ground upon their backs.
"Are you two okay?!" Ochaco asked in immediate as she came over alongside Shiki and Tenya. Both girls grimaced from the pain in their faces. But then, they both started laughing heartily. Everyone looked at them with bewildered expressions, wondering what they found amusing about taking a punch to the face. They were just reminded of their days training with Jaguar. And as sad as it made them, it also helped them grow.

"That was amazing, Rebecca!" Toru complimented later that day as she and the rest of the Class A girls were soaking up in the bath that evening back at the dorms, "The way you and Yaomomo went at it today was just awesome!" she mentioned excitedly.
"I was surprised at how well you did, Yaoyorozu," Tsuyu commented, "You normally don't seem like the kind of person who would go for something like close-quarters combat given your Quirk," she pointed out.
"Well, like Mister Aizawa said, we can't always rely on our powers," the class deputy noted, "And as such, I just fought the way I knew best from my experiences," she told her classmates.
"Same here," Rebecca affirmed, sharing a giggle with her classmate.
"It was so cute seeing Midoriya fuss all over you when we got back," Mina chimed in, recalling how panicked Izuku was when he saw that his girlfriend had a bandage on her cheek, "Ah, I wish I had a boyfriend like that…" she sighed out.
"You and Midoriya are like the glue of the class, Rebecca," Toru commented, "Both of you just have this… energy that resonates with everyone altogether," she noted.
"And it's not just our class," Ochaco mentioned, "Kleene and some people from Class B are pretty friendly with us thanks to you," she pointed out.
"Oh, stop it…" Rebecca said modestly, holding her reddening cheeks in her hands, "I just like helping my friends is all," she affirmed, "And now that we're moving forward, we're gonna be the best heroes we can be!" she declared with a clenched right fist.
"Indeed…" Homura agreed, trembling as everyone in the bath looked over to her, "We shall continue to endure harsh training such as the temperatures of these baths…" she proclaimed.
"It's still just a regular bath, Kogetsu," Tsuyu bluntly noted.
"So anyways, we continuing the superhero movie nights?" Kyoka assumed, changing the subject.
"Mm-hmm!" Rebecca responded with a nod, "This next one's a little forgettable though…" she admitted sheepishly.
"I'm sure it's not that bad," Toru said.
"And even if it's… well, bland…" Momo continued, "we'll still be able to enjoy it as a class," she assured.
"I hope Deku and Bakugo can at least watch with us…" Ochaco admitted, "They've been working hard to clean the dorms up the past few days," she pointed out.
"And we'll be getting Midoriya back tomorrow," Tsuyu mentioned.
"Then let's enjoy another night of movie watching!" Rebecca insisted.
"Yeah!" her female classmates exclaimed in agreement, pumping their fists up. A while later, the girls were all dressed before gathering in the common area, with some of the boys already there. Izuku had just finished sweeping before he arrived, sitting down on the couch next to his girlfriend and Kyoka.
"So what's the flick tonight?" Denki inquired curiously.
"Iron Man Two!" Rebecca answered as she picked up the remote, searching up the film in question.
"Wait, the sequel came before any of the other heroes got their chance to shine?" Eijiro questioned, sounding surprised.
"Guess Iron Man was pretty popular…" Minoru assumed as he shrugged.
"Of course he was!" Weisz proclaimed proudly, leaning back with his arms folded behind his head, "He was practically the epitome of what every guy growing up wanted to be like," he noted, "Smart, rich, and famous," he listed off.
"And a total sleaze from what I remember…" Rebecca muttered out, much to the surprise of the Machina Maker Quirk user. Hitting the play button, she started to the movie. In a similar vein to the film that came before it, the opening focused on a man building his own version of the arc reactor that Tony had created, right in the wake of him revealing his identity as Iron Man.
Six months passed, and Tony had become even more of a celebrity thanks to his armor, making him seem even more attuned with his fame and fortune. But there was a problem. While playing an old recording of his father's message to the world for his expo, he checked his blood, seeing that its toxicity levels were rising.
"Wait, he's getting sick?" Mina inquired aloud.
"How come?" Toru asked.
"You'll see," Rebecca assured in reply to her classmates. The movie went with Tony having to deal with the government trying to seize his property, practically making a joke of those questioning him at the hearing. But not all was well. As it turned out, the very thing that was keeping him alive was also poisoning him. It would only be a matter of time before he'd be unable to properly function.
To make matters worse, he was exacerbating the problem rather than trying to combat it. He felt like there was nothing he could do, so he would just go down living his best life. He ended up participating in a formula one race, only to end up almost killed as the man from the start of the movie, known as Ivan Vanko, had arrived with his own arc reactor and electrically charged whips that he used to slice up cars coming along the track.
"Holy crap!" Eijiro yelped out.
"It's his fault for putting himself out there!" Toru argued.
"Yeah, but how did the bad guy even know to be there?" Ochaco wondered aloud. Fortunately, Tony was saved thanks to a new suit of armor he made, which was collapsed from a suitcase. He battled back and stopped Ivan, but the fact that he had an arc reactor at all was a great cause for concern.
That didn't seem to matter to him though. He was just going to live life to his fullest without a care for his well-being. That was proven when he threw a party, got drunk, and essentially made a fool of himself in front of hundreds of people while in his armor.
"Somebody's gotta stop him…" Hanta commented. Luckily, Tony's military friend, Rhodey, was quick to don one of his other armors. They got into a fight, resulting in most of the billionaire's residence being trashed by the damages they caused.
Rhodey took the armor he borrowed, leaving his friend to try and pick up the pieces of his crumbling life. And what did he do next? He went to get donuts.
"He's a lot more unlikeable in this movie…" Tsuyu pointed out.
"Yeah, even though we kinda know why he's acting like this, it still seems pretty scummy…" Mashirao admitted, causing Weisz to grimace a little.
"Y-Yeah…" he stammered in agreement reluctantly. Things started to change when a certain someone came to talk with Tony, being the character that appeared at the end of the first film, Nick Fury.
"I told you, I don't wanna join your secret boy band," the hungover hero said. The whole reason Nick was there was try and help Tony get back onto the right track. In fact, he already had someone taking reconnaissance from inside the hero's company.
Earlier in the film, a character had been introduced, being a secretary to Pepper as she had taken over Tony's company. However, that wasn't her true calling. She was actually an agent of the government entity that Nick directed. Her name was Natasha Romanov.
"What an amazingly hot body…" Minoru whispered out, starting to drool. His comments were swiftly met with Kyoka jabbing her earphone jacks into his ears, bombarding him with sound waves and knocking him out.
"Perv…" she muttered, retracting her jacks. The movie continued, with Tony being told that he needed to find a cure for his current sickness due to the arc reactor, needing to use another form of power. Through archives that were given to him, he discovered an old video of outtakes from his father's presentation from the start of the film.
He didn't seem to care for the footage. It didn't help him at all. But then his father talked to him directly. It was message to his future self for when he grew up, to let him know how much his father cared.
"My greatest creation… is you," he had said.
"Aw…" Ochaco uttered, "That's so sweet…" she admitted. Beside her, Shiki was tearing up profusely.
"It's so sad, too…!" he whimpered out, sniffling as Momo patted his back reassuringly. From there, Tony was motivated to try and make things right. He uncovered his father's old model for the expo site, putting it together and discovering that it was actually a hidden diagram for the molecular structure of a new element. And potentially, it was an element that could save his life.
Through a bit more demolition and construction, he built an accelerator to help synthesize the potential new element. It worked, allowing him to have an arc reactor that not only wouldn't poison him, but would also cure his current symptoms. Things were looking good, but there was trouble on the horizon.
One of Tony's rivals, Justin Hammer, worked to free Ivan from his prison to work for him and create automated drones that were presented to be military assets. In reality, they would be remote controlled robots that Ivan was going to control. Realizing this, Tony went to the expo in a new suit of armor to try and stop his plans.
But it was more complicated as Rhodey was involved, donning an upgraded suit as well, fitted with multiple weapons. And to make matters worse, his suit ended up being controlled by Ivan. Tony had to lure him and the drones away from the expo for everyone's safety, taking down a few of the remote controlled machines.
In the meantime, Natasha went to confront Ivan, using her amazing martial arts and combat experience to deal with guards. Every girl in the room was smiling at that, while some of the boys were in awe. She managed to make her way into the control room, only for Ivan to have left. However, she used the computer to restore control of Rhodey's suit back to him.
With that, he and Tony were able to come together when the rest of the drones showed up to face them. They stood back-to-back before starting what was an epic battle, destroying all of the drones. However, there was one more opponent they had to face: Ivan. He returned in his own suit of armor, equipped with his electrical whips from before.
"How are they gonna take him out this time?" Denki wondered aloud. Rhodey tried to use one of the strongest weapons provided to him by Justin, being a mini-missile called the Ex-Wife. But it merely bounced off of his foe, uselessly falling into the water.
"Hammer tech?" Tony guessed.
"…Yeah…" Rhodey responded, evidently embarrassed.
"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Eijiro and Mina laughed. Many of the others were amused as well. The fight then continued, with Ivan pinning both Tony and Rhodey, trying to pull them in. The two seemed to be outmatched. But then, the billionaire genius had an idea.
By combining their repulsor rays, they were able to blast Ivan down and defeat him. But he wasn't done just yet. He had rigged every drone to blow, including the ones that were damaged back at the expo. Tony had to quickly go and save Pepper, flying her away before they landed atop a building. They managed to reconcile after some banter, followed by sharing a kiss that felt like a long time coming.
Afterwards, Tony was debriefed by Nick in reference to his application for being a part of the Avengers. He as Iron Man was approved, but as Tony, he wasn't. Therefore, he was unsuitable for the moment.
"So that's it?" Hanta questioned, "He doesn't get to be part of the hero team they're making?" he inquired on.
"Not yet, I guess…" Mashirao answered with an unsure shrug. As the credits rolled, there was an extra scene at the end depicting one of the more prominent agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. arriving on a location where a large hammer lied.
"Sir… we found it," he confirmed through a phone before the film finally ended.
"Well, that was tolerable," Momo commented.
"Definitely like the other movies more, but this was fun, too," Toru admitted on.
"So what's the next one gonna be?" Denki asked curiously.
"Thor!" Rebecca answered, "Bet you'll like that one!" she remarked with a wink.
"Oh, totally!" the Electrification Quirk user agreed, "I always liked how funny he was!" he pointed out, "Especially in that one flick where—"
"NO SPOILERS!" Eijiro, Minoru and Hanta all screamed, dogpiling him as he yelped in surprise. Everyone watched on with varying expressions before letting out nervous laughs.
"Well, let's wait until the weekend to find out what's next," Rebecca advised, "For now, we got Izu coming back to class tomorrow," she pointed out, winking at her boyfriend, who blushed in surprise before chuckling.
"Then it's time for us to go to bed!" Tenya declared. With that, everyone departed for their rooms for the night, motivated to take on a new day tomorrow. But they had yet to realize was that their next challenge would be quite a surprise…

Opens with Class 1-A's girls hanging out in the common room of their Heights Alliance building. Rebecca finds herself totally bored until she realizes something, running off. She returns a moment later with her Switch in hand, along with four controllers. She, Homura, Tsuyu and Ochaco are the first ones to start playing, though the Soul Blade Quirk user is initially holding her controller upside down.
They play a racing game to start things off, with the scene changing to show chibi forms of the girls driving in their karts. Homura slips on a banana peel and spins out, while Tsuyu gets hit by a green shell. Ochaco and Rebecca are neck-and-neck as they approach the finish line, and the Zero Gravity Quirk user wins by a hair.
After a brief celebration, the girls switch to a dancing game, where Mina, Toru, Kyoka and Momo compete. We again shift to a fantasy where the girls are dressed like dancers on a stage. Everyone's surprised by how good of a dancer the Acid Quirk user is, cheering her on excitedly. As the games continue, the boys enter the common area to find them playing.
Next up is a multiplayer first-person shooter that Rebecca, Weisz, Izuku, and Shoto start playing. We see that in the fantasy sequence, the Cat Leaper Quirk user has the best shot amongst her peers, even beating out Weisz. Afterwards, Hanta brings down four more controllers so that more people can play.
And so, it comes down to a fighter game, in which Izuku, Katsuki, Eijiro, Tenya, Homura, Momo, Shoto and Shiki play. Not knowing the controls, Tenya's character can only move like a robot before getting knocked off by Katsuki. Eijiro withstands Homura's blows until she's tired out, landing a finishing punch. Momo is hesitant to battle against Shiki, so she just falls off the edge of the stage as everyone looks to her in confusion in reality.
Katsuki's character bests Shiki, while Izuku manages to defeat Eijiro. The two face off against each other, exchanging blows before ultimately, Izuku wins. The class cheers excitedly, while Katsuki scoffs, though isn't as annoyed over losing.
The rest of the day continues with Denki and Hanta playing a golfing game, Minoru and Tsuyu facing off in a MOBA to everyone's surprise, Mezo and Koji enjoying a relaxing simulation game, and Yuga trying to sing in a karaoke game, only to make everyone flinch from the sound of his falsetto. As Shota and All Might wander in to check on the class, they smile to see Rebecca and Kyoka playing together as a team in a two-person fighter. They imagine themselves in their hero costumes, fighting against a villain as they charge in…
