MONOPOLY

"Why does the board look like a map of Tokyo?" Kaminari asked as he got into the limo.

"Because it is," Momo replied. She rolled the dice and moved her figurine across the map. "To Fifth and Park."

"Right away, Miss Yaoyorozu."

The butler drove them to a large office building. Yaoyorozu walked out, and a few minutes later, came out holding the deed to the building.

"The sale came out to five billion yen. Rent will be ten-thousand."

"Wait," Kaminari said. "You bought the building?"

"We're playing monopoly. Iida, your turn."

Iida's throw took him to a takoyaki stand three blocks down. Then Todoroki rolled and bought a karaoke bar. On Izuku's turn, he threw sixes and went halfway across town to buy Backdraft's hero agency. Another set of sixes gave him Uwabami's studio, then a solid eleven let him buy out Gang Orca.

"Getting most the hero monopoly off the bat?" Momo asked.

"I have calculated the optimal strategy."

"But you still need to get lucky with the dice rolls," Iida pointed out.

Kaminari rolled fives. The butler drove them out to a parking lot. With nothing to buy and no money to buy it, he rolled another ten. He started panicking when the limo rolled up to a police station.

"We're only visiting," Momo said. "And no, you don't get to buy the police station."

"You can do that?"

Momo looked confused. "Of course you can. Everything is for sale. Some things are just more expensive than others."

Slightly unnerved, Kaminari sipped on his complementary non-alcoholic champagne while the other occupants of the limo carved out their own slices of Tokyo. Momo soon held an entire block of clothing boutiques, Iida started a fast food chain, while Todoroki bought everything he came across.

"Man, this sucks," Kaminari said as he rolled. "I couldn't even buy that kid's lemonade stand!"

As the limo drove past U.A., the butler passed Kaminari a stack of bills.

"What is this?"

"You passed go. You get two million yen."

"I take it all back. This game is amazing!"

His turn continued, and he landed in front of a video game store. Eyes widening, Kaminari sprinted inside, waving his pile of cash. Moments later, he ran out, holding a brand new PS5. Cackling maniacally, he shouted, "Yes! It's finally mine! I retire!"

"Can he do that?" Iida asked. "I do not believe that retiring pre-emptively is part of the rules."

"Neither is setting up hotels on a power plant," Todoroki said, "But we did that anyways."

Defensively, Iida said, "It was a good investment. Added revenue and cost savings."

Nezu popped out of the glove compartment. "Are you in need of a fifth player?"

Momo shrugged. "Sure, I guess you could join in."

"Excellent! I already have a monopoly on all the buildings in U.A. Your rent comes out to fifty-billion yen." He reached out, and Kaminari flew backwards into his outstretched paw.

"Time to pay rent! I suppose your PS5 will do."

Is it cheating if Izuku can perfectly calculate how to throw his dice to get perfect rolls?
