"Come on. In we go." Trunks told his kids, sending them inside first of him while he carried Miku in her car seat.

"Hello? Are you Trunks Briefs and family?" A man questioned, watching Trunks and his kids.

"Yes, Sir." Trunks replied, watching the man.

"I figured as much. On the phone you said you had a large family. I'm Vincent Caper." The man, Vincent, explained, reaching to shake Trunks's hand.

"Yes, I remember. Are you who I'm supposed to be talking to today or no?" Trunks asked, watching Vincent.

"Yes. Please follow me. We have a room for the kids to play in while you sign papers. Of course, you may bring the baby with you if you wish." Vincent explained, watching Trunks, showing him the room he was talking about.

"Ok… Botan: you focus on Miku. Cora: you keep an eye on Ryo and Tatsu. Taiyo: keep an eye on Katsuki, Phoenix, and Kobe. All of you keep an eye on each other and listen to Botan, Cora, and Taiyo." Trunks instructed, handing Miku over to Botan.

"Yes," "Dad." "Daddy." The kids replied before heading into the room.

"Please follow me." Vincent instructed with a smile, leading Trunks into a different room.

"Have a seat." Vincent insisted, having Trunks sit in a chair in front of a desk while he sat in his chair on the other side.

"Thank you." Trunks replied, taking a seat.

"Your children are very polite—and well-behaved it seems. I don't often see that—especially with single parents with a large amount of children." Vincent praised Trunks, stunned.

"Oh, yeah. They're all great. My oldest three a great help as well—despite what Taiyo says. They know the rules and to behave—especially in public." Trunks replied with a proud smile.

"I love my children, but I wish they'd listen to me more. And I only have four children—with one on the way." Vincent stated.

"Same mother?" Trunks questioned.

"My oldest two have the same mother, but she passed away years ago. Then yes, my youngest three have the same mother. But my older two consider her their mother and she loves them just as much as the two with one on the way that we share together." Vincent answered.

"At least they have a mother who helps you, right?" Trunks questioned.

"This is true. But they still drive us crazy. But at the same time, we love them." Vincent replied, looking at the pictures of his family on his desk.

"Yeah, I know how that is. I don't suppose you get many large families like mine, do you?" Trunks inquired, watching Vincent.

"Yes and no. You're my second large family, but others here have worked with many large families. I normally work with smaller or medium-sized families. The other family I'm working with just got placed here, but they weren't able to place them in a home yet. The mother is a young single mother of nine children. And she is young. But she doesn't have any work ethics, so I she doesn't have money to buy a house. So, I've been tasked with trying to find her a home. But most of the larger homes are filled. That poor girl: I think she was in an abusive home or something. But anyway: we should get down to business, shall we?" Vincent answered and then explained before insisting.

Forty Minutes Later:

"Well, Mr. Briefs: you are now a homeowner. It was a pleasure doing business with you." Vincent told Trunks, shaking his hand with a smile.

"Thank you. It was, indeed. When will I be able to move in?" Trunks replied before inquiring, shaking Vincent's hand.

"You may move in a soon as you wish. The renovations were finished the other day—a week and a half early. But I assure you the house is live-in ready and one hundred percent safe." Vincent assured Trunks.

"Awesome. Thank you." Trunks replied with a smile. He could tell Vincent was being honest. And even if the renovations weren't ready, he'd be able to fix whatever needed fixing up.

Knock. Knock.

"Yes? Who is it?" Vincent called.

"It's Gem, Sir. I have a Ms. Kori here to see you. I told her that you were in with someone else, but she insists that she was told to come see you." Vincent's assistant answered, opening the door just a crack.

"Yes, well Mr. Briefs and I were just finishing up here. You may send her in." Vincent calmly replied.

"Yes, Sir. You may go in. But please do not speak until he speaks first; he's with someone else right now." Gem replied for instructing.

"Yes, Ma'am." A soft voice spoke before walking into the room.

"Kori, it's good to see you again. What brings you by?" Vincent questioned, standing up.

Kori had long wavy, light purple hair and light green eyes with a crescent moon on her forehead.

Trunks couldn't stop staring at her: something inside of him clicked as he felt like he was being pulled toward this girl.

"Umm… I got your message asking me to come over right away. You sounded urgent. I thought maybe you found placement for my children and me." Kori spoke, watching Vincent. She wouldn't look at Trunks because she didn't understand the feeling that was washing over her—or why she felt like she was being pulled toward Trunks. And Trunks could see that—all of it.

"I'm sorry, Kori, but I didn't send you any messages of any sort. I promise you; I've been looking my hardest to find you and your children a home. I just haven't had any luck yet. I'm sorry. But when you have ten kids and no work experience, it's harder to find something." Vincent calmly and apologetically replied.

As soon as Vincent said he didn't send her any messages, Kori started feeling around her waist.

Knock. Knock.

"Firstly: there are only nine of us. Secondly: Mom, you left your phone in the car seat." A girl with long dark purple hair, light green eyes, and a crescent moon on her forehead spoke, handing Kori a phone.

"Thank you, Natsumi. Please go keep an eye on your brothers and sisters." Kori thanked her daughter before sending her off again.

"Umm… Here." Kori softly spoke, looking through her phone.

"Hi, Kori; it's Vincent Caper from Home Placements. It seems you are unavailable right now, but when you get this message, please come see me right away. Thank you. Bye."

Kori played a message on her phone, shocking Vincent.

"I don't know who sent you that message, but it wasn't me. I'm sorry." Vincent calmly spoke. But Trunks and Kori could tell he was annoyed.

'Nine kids? But she looks so young. I mean I know Mr. Caper said she was young, but her daughter didn't look too terribly much younger than her.' "I don't mean to intrude, but maybe the one who sent us all here—to this world sent her that message." Trunks spoke up after thinking to himself.

"But why would they do that?" Gem rudely questioned, walking in, annoyed.

"Now, Gem: be nice. Who knows why they do what they do other than they're allowed to? We were lucky enough to be brought to this world by whoever brought us. It is our duty to do as we are told and to follow the rules, not to question them. Now, what brings you back here?" Vincent calmly spoke to Gem before asking her.

"Her babies won't stop screaming—no matter what I do to quiet them down." Gem answered.

"But Natsumi and Seiya are supposed to be watching their younger siblings." Kori spoke, becoming ridged.

"You can't expect two tweens to care for a screaming child. Unless, of course, the baby is theirs. And in that case, what kind of mother let's their children have sex at such a young age?" Gem insulted Kori.

"Gem! That's enough! Go home and think about everything you've just said. And going off what you just said, I'm guessing you touched the baby without Kori's permission. You know better. Now, go! We'll discuss this more next Monday when you come back. Kori, I'm sorry." Vincent angrily scolded Gem, shocking her. He then apologized to Kori, who looked beyond upset.

"Excuse me." Kori quickly excused herself.

"I don't know her too terribly well; I've only been working with her for nearly two months now. But she is a good mother—and all nine of those kids are hers. I guess if anything; she's a little over emotional. I don't know what it is, but Gem can't seem to stand her, and is always so rude. Today, however, was the first time she ever said anything so cruel—that I know of." Vincent told Trunks.

"Why are you telling me this?" Trunks questioned.

"I saw the way you were looking at her. If whoever brought us all here (you, your family, and Kori and her family); I would have to say they're playing matchmaker. They probably know who people are meant to be with and bring them together. They know just about everything about one person. I'm sure they would know who someone is meant to be with as well." Vincent answered with a smile.

"Where is she and her children staying?" Trunks questioned, concerned.

"The shelter two miles down the road. It's getting cold—and dark, so I'm sure she's bundling the kids up for the walk back." Vincent explained.

"She doesn't have a vehicle?" Trunks questioned.

"I don't think she drives period." Vincent spoke.

"It's my house now, yes? I can do as I please with it?" Trunks inquired.

"Yes, Sir. It's your house to do with as you please. You've completely bought and paid it off." Vincent replied.

"Thank you. Have a nice night." Trunks replied, heading out.

"You as well. If you get her to agree to move in with you, please let me know, so I can take her off my list." Vincent replied with a smile, looking toward his ceiling.

"Hey, Dad. Did you get everything figured out?" Botan questioned, seeing Trunks walk into the room.

"Do we get to move soon?" Taiyo questioned.

"Dad, is everything ok?" Botan questioned, seeing something in Trunks's eyes.

"Umm… I think we have a problem." Cora spoke up, looking in the car seat.

"What's wrong?" Everyone questioned.

"That lady with the purple hair took the wrong baby." Cora answered.

"Did you see where she went?" Trunks asked right away.

"I think she left." Taiyo answered.

"She said something about having to use the bathroom." Katsuki corrected Taiyo.

"She seemed upset." Cora noted.

"I am soo sorry!" Kori cried, rushing into the room with Trunks's car seat and her children, out of breath.

"I took your baby by mistake. I'm so sorry; I don't usually make a mistake like that." Kori frantically apologized.

"It's ok. At least you realized it before you got to wherever you were going. You can just set her down." Trunks calmly replied, watching Kori, getting the attention of Botan, Cora, and Taiyo.

"She's been changed. Before we figured out she wasn't our sister, Mom noted she needed a diaper change. She changed her and then we came back here right away." Natsumi spoke, watching Trunks.

"Is something going on?" Botan, Cora, Taiyo, Natsumi, and a boy with long brown hair, dark green eyes and a crescent moon on his forehead questioned, watching Trunks and Kori.

All of Kori's children had a crescent moon on their foreheads. However, unlike the one on Miku's forehead, theirs were all facing up instead of sideways.

"Why?" Kori questioned.

"Ok. I'll explain it. The being who brought you here is most likely the same one who brought me and my oldest four: Botan, Cora, Taiyo, and Katsuki here years ago. My youngest five: Kobe, Phoenix, Ryo, Tatsu, and Miku were born here. I don't know your situation and I don't claim to. However, you clearly know about the one who brought you here, yes?" Trunks started speaking.

"Yes. Our world wasn't safe." The boy with long brown hair spoke up.

"You do know they do what they do for whatever reason, right?" Trunks questioned.

"Yes." Kori softly replied, blushing. She had a feeling she knew where this was going.

"The message that you received wasn't from Vincent, but I do believe it was from whoever brought you here. I believe it brought you here because I'm here as well. I can see in your eyes that you know what I'm about to say. You're not human, I'm guessing Lunarian of some sort. My youngest, Miku, is half Lunarian. What did Sora say? Miku is specifically a Tsukiko Lunarian. What?" Trunks went on before asking when he saw a look of fear run across Kori's face.

"Sora?" Kori questioned before blacking out.

"What happened?" Trunks and his kids questioned, concerned.

"You mentioned Sora. We don't know much about her, but we know she's not a good person." The boy with long brown hair spoke.

"She hurt Mom—a lot before any of use were born. Who are you and what's going on?" Natsumi added before questioning.

"My name is Trunks Briefs." "That was fast." The boy with long brown hair interrupted Trunks as Kori came to.

"Are you all hungry? We're going to a buffet for dinner. My parents are going to be there as well, and I'm sure they're going to want to know everything as well. But right now, short story is we're all meant to be together. Whoever brought all of us here is telling us that Kori and I are supposed to be a couple. Now, he's the deal: you and your children will come stay with us. We're going to start moving in a week or two. You and your children can stay in the apartment and I'll continue to pay for it; I have no issue with that for a year or so. But that means you'll have to go out and get a job—which I can help you with. Or you can just agree to the inevitable and move with us right away. You can stay home and take care of the children. You may come and go from the house whenever you please. If it makes you feel any better, I rearrange the basement, so that you can have your own apartment-like home—just without a kitchen. I do believe there's a full bathroom in the basement along with a half of one. I'm sure we could figure something out. What do you say?" Trunks insisted, not taking no for an answer.

"Do you know how to cook?" A girl with dark red hair and dark green eyes questioned.

"Sold! Mom, please! I love you, and I know you do everything for us, but I can't stand anymore instant microwaved food—or rice and sushi." The girl begged Kori.

"Hey. I didn't hear you complaining. At least you got rice and sushi twice a week. I just realized how that sounded. But still…" "They'll be taken care of?" Kori softly questioned, interrupting Natsumi.

"Yes, your children will be taken care of. And so will you." Trunks assured Kori.

"Ok. As long as it's truly ok with you and your children." Kori softly spoke.

"Cool. More girls!" Cora happily exclaimed.

"Works for me. As long as Dad's happy." Botan added with a smile. He didn't care; he was happy to have more family members.

"More girls? I suppose, at least there are more boys." The boy with long brown hair spoke up.

"But wait—I don't have a car or anything. I don't even know how to drive." Kori spoke as Trunks and Natsumi helped her up.

"That's not a problem. I have our van; we'll figure something out. Now, come on; we'll do introductions as we pile everyone into the van." Trunks instructed, getting both car seats.

"Welcome to the family." Botan and Cora sincerely accepted Kori and her children.

"Where's the van?" Taiyo questioned, looking around, not seeing their van.

"I don't know. Isn't this your van?" Kori questioned, looking at the bigger vehicle where Trunks had parked.

"Dad, there's a note with your name on the front. It also has the name Kori on it." Katsuki pointed to the windshield.

Dear Trunks Briefs, Kori & Family,

I see you figured out your families have increased in size…

Your two families of ten have become one of twenty.

I understand nine children on your own is difficult.

Now, together, Trunks and Kori: you have eighteen.

Good luck.

I'm kidding; I know you can handle it.

For the most part, all of your children are well-behaved.

And I know the older ones are willing or eager to help.

Anyway:

With as big a family as you now have—which may or may not get larger, you deserve a vehicle that fits all of you—plus some.

So, here you go.

Don't worry about paying anything for it:

It's all paid for.

All either of you has to do is take care of yourselves and your new family.

For Trunks Specifically:

I've already taken the liberty of informing your parents of what's going on—to a point.

Introductions are up to all of you.

Your mother seems concerned, yet happy so long as you're happy.

Your father seems weary but has agreed to behave.

Finally, your vasectomy has been rescinded.

You never know if you'll have any more children.

You do have forever, after all.

For Kori Specifically:

I just found out you weren't informed,

But you are now on a five-year birth control IUD.

You cannot become pregnant until you decide otherwise.

Like I told Trunks:

You have forever, so you may want to have children together in the future.

Finally, I wanted to let you know they were brought to this world just the other night.

So, if you want to avoid them, they live fifteen minutes from your new home.

However, that's only for a few weeks.

Once you move to the house, they will live forty-five minutes east of you.

They know you and your children live here as well.

But they do not know where.

Have a good evening, all over you.

And have a good rest of your lives.

Sincerely,

You know who.

"Well, that's certainly interesting—and generous. Well, that makes another thing I'm thankful for the being who brought us here for." Trunks spoke, walking around to the other side of the van.

"It's almost like a small bus." Katsuki noted, looking at the van.

"That it does." Trunks replied, opening the middle door.

"What's a bus?" Kori and her children questioned.

"You don't know what a bus is?" Taiyo questioned, staring at Kori's children.

"No, we don't. Do you have a problem with that?" Natsumi retorted, shocking Taiyo.

"Natsumi, please behave." Kori softly pleaded with her daughter.

"Sorry, Mom. Sorry, Mr. Briefs." Natsumi apologized.

"Thank you." Taiyo smugly replied.

"Not you: you're father." Natsumi replied as calmly as she could.

"You're just fine. Aside from Botan, Cora, and myself; he has someone to take him down a peg. Just so long as you behave in the buffet and stores—and any other public places; we won't have a problems." Trunks replied, strapping Miku in behind the passenger seat.

"Stores? What do you mean stores?" Kori softly questioned, hearing something in Trunks's voice.

"Well, once we get done eating, we have to stop at a store to get Miku a new crib and everything else Sora didn't leave her. Hey. Are you alright?" Trunks answered before questioning, barely catching Kori as she collapsed against the van.

"I'll be ok." Kori softly replied, trying to stand.

"Is Mom sitting in the front?" Natsumi questioned, holding her baby sister.

"That would be the plan. It would seem the babies are behind us with everyone else behind them." Trunks replied, helping Kori to stand.

"Speaking of babies. We'll go from youngest to oldest. Your baby in the car seat: what's her name?" Trunks questioned, taking the car seat from Natsumi.

"Kohana: she's six months as of two days ago." Kori answered as Trunks hooked Kohana in behind him. Kohana had purple hair and light green eyes.

"Who are sitting between Kohana and Miku? Oh, Miku is my youngest: she's five months, but will be six months in a few weeks." Trunks questioned before introducing Miku to everyone.

"Shoku and Sakura are two-year-old twins." Shoku was male with darker pink hair and light green eyes. Sakura was female with lighter pink hair and light green eyes.

"Ok… Who is your next oldest?" Trunks questioned, looking at Kori.

This is where the inside of the van started looking like a bus. Each seat could hold two people.

"Yusuke is four." Kori answered as a boy with dark purple hair and dark green eyes stood beside her.

"Ok. He'll be sitting next to my four-year-old son, Phoenix. You two will sit behind Sakura and Miku. Ryo and Tatsu: you two sit behind Shoku and Kohana. Ryo and Tatsu are three-year-old twins. Who's next? Katsuki is seven and Kobe is five." Trunks spoke, shutting the middle door before opening the back door.

"Fuyumi is seven and Harumi is six." Kori answered.

"They're not twins?" Trunks, Botan, Cora, Taiyo, and Katsuki, questioned, stunned.

"No. Fuyumi was born in January. Harumi was born a year later in May." Kori softly answered.

Fuyumi and Harumi were almost identical, with long purple hair. However, Fuyumi had dark green eyes, whereas Harumi had light green eyes.

"Ok. Well, Fuyumi and Harumi: you two will sit behind Ryo and Tatsu. Katsuki and Kobe: you two will sit behind Yusuke and Phoenix. My next to are Taiyo, nine, and Cora, eleven." Trunks instructed before introducing Taiyo and Cora.

"Akimi is nine, Seiya is ten, Natsumi is twelve, and… Ummm… Sorry." Kori introduced the rest of her children, standing there. She started to say something else but stopped, becoming upset.

"Mom, don't do that." Natsumi and Seiya insisted, hugging Kori.

Akimi had dark red hair and light green eyes. Trunks couldn't tell how long her hair was because she wore it up in two tight buns and wore a hat.

Seiya was the boy with long brown hair.

"Where do we sit?" Akimi questioned.

"Now, don't start; it's ok. I'm ok." Kori insisted, wiping her eyes.

"Seiya and Taiyo: I want you two behind Fuyumi and Harumi. Cora and Akimi: you two will be behind Katsuki and Kobe. And then Botan and Natsumi: you two will be in the back. And you, my dear, will be up front with me. Sorry. I didn't know if you remember me saying that before." Trunks instructed before calmly speaking to Kori.

Now, he was sure something happened to them. And it was going to drive him crazy not knowing. Yet, he couldn't just ask her; he didn't know her well enough. He'd give it time, and hopefully, she'd open up.

"Thank you." Kori softly replied.

"Now, before we get in, I'm only going to say this once. This is a brand-new vehicle. That means NO kicking the seats in front of you, no hitting things, no spitting, and no fighting. Am I understood?" Trunks spoke to all the kids.

"Yes," "Dad." "Daddy." Trunks's children replied.

"Please listen to Mr. Trunks and follow his rules." Kori nervously spoke to her children.

"Yes," "Mom." "Mommy." Kori's children replied.

"Ok. Just give me a few minutes to find out if we can get a reservation at the buffet." Trunks insisted after making sure Kori got in the van…
