An: hi everyone, and welcome to the next chapter of Harry Potter the Elemental Spell Gamer. We're almost at the end of the story, and it's because of this I have a question for you all.

Should Jasmine take the powers she has and travel to other worlds to help the hero or heroes with their task. If so, I have a decision to make on which world to send her to first.

If you would like to see Jasmine's adventures continue let me know through a review or a PM. You have until I publish the epilog in chapter 15 to make your voice heard, and yes, I realize that only leaves 1 chapter after this one to vote.

Before we get into Jasmine's adventure, I would like to respond to some reviews.

soniclord100: a Dranne is better known as a mermaid. They are not actually native to Jasmine's world, and the reason Jasmine has this as her race is because she let her race be picked at random.

AiyaKnight: actually no. Though I will admit the character sheets take up about half of the chapter length, the actual chapter was about Dumbledore trying to regain control of Jasmine.

Wijibo: don't worry. That was the last time I will be placing any songs in my multi-chapter stories.

With that, let's get on with the story.

13: The third task

Jasmine stood at the entrance to the maze. It had been a long couple of months since completing her elemental team. Now she waited on Bagman's whistle to start the final task for the tri-wizard tournament.

As she glanced around, she thought back on all that had happened to her after Amelia Bones had tricked Dumbledore into dropping his rule about her elemental team. First of course had been the finding of her shadow elemental.

– Flashback –

Jasmine looked at the group of fourth-year Hufflepuffs. There was Susan Bones niece of the woman who had forced Dumbledore to remove the rule that had been preventing Jasmine from completing her team.

Next to Susan stood Hannah Abbott. A cheerful blond who wore her hare in pig tales. Hannah had been 1 of Jasmine's most enthusiastic supporters during her second year. As well as the start of this year.

On Susan's left stood Megan Jones. She was the cousin of famous quidditch player Gweneth Jones. Jasmine knew very little about her. Only that she seemed to want to be a reporter of some kind.

"What can I do for you ladies?"

"We were wondering if you were still looking for a new team member" Susan answered.

"I do need 1 more " Jasmine nodded. "Witch one of you wanted to join?"

Megan looked scared, but asked, "what element slot do you have left?"

Jasmine smiled at Megan. "My last element needed is shadow" she said still smiling.

Susan looked confused. "But, aren't shadows evil?"

At this the girls around Jasmine wanted to laugh, but saw the genuine fear in Susan's eyes.

Jasmine pointed to something behind Susan. "Is that evil?"

Susan looked over her shoulder to see her own shadow. "Um, I don't understand."

Jasmine smiled. "Shadow elementals are the direct opposite to light. However, you can't have shadow without light. Because of this, both are necessary for balance."

"This doesn't mean they will have it easy though. Just like all elementals shadows need to constantly guard against being drawn toward the darkness, and that is doubly hard for shadows as they are the closest to the darkness."

"And yet, you still want one?"

Jasmine nodded to Megan. "The team won't be complete until we have 1 of each element."

At this point Hannah stepped forward. "Would you accept me into your team as your shadow elemental?"

Jasmine looked at each of the other elementals she led. Finding nothing but acceptance she smiled at Hannah, and sent her elementals invite.

– End flashback –

After filling out Hannah's character sheet a new message had popped up on all team member screens.

`quest complete.

Elemental team assembled.

Reward: 500 elemental experience points. 1 Elemental spell scroll. `

Jasmine had immediately used her spell scroll to learn the first of the north star technique. She planned to use this tech on someone very soon.

Interestingly it was at that point that Jasmine had been given a solo dungeon that took the form a library, and which had led her to a book about Horcruxes. Also, she had found a copy of Tom's personal diary before it had been cursed, and it talked about Tom's search for immortality. She had been about to leave the library believing she had found all she needed, that is until she stumbled across a book with "The Greater Good" written on the cover. After scanning through the book, she knew the DMLE would need to see this.

After informing her team about what she had discovered, Jasmine had located another artifact, and using it on the map had generated a large hedge maze to test her new skill on. She spent 2 weeks in the maze learning how to navigate mazes, and how to fight creatures while alone.

After that she had finally been sent to her next solo dungeon. This dungeon had found her making her way through a haunted mansion looking for a cursed ring. It had taken her 2 hours to find and destroy the ring that held the dungeon exit closed. However, when she woke up the following day, she got a message telling her that 1 of Voldemort's Horcruxes had been destroyed. It was this message that told her that Voldemort had used Horcruxes to gain his immortality.

A few days later She had been sent into another solo dungeon. This time she had to navigate an old-time manor house. This dungeon was harder than the last one. For 1 thing this time she had to fight mummified elves. For another there were portraits dotted all around the manor, and whenever 1 of them caught sight of her the portrait would sound an alarm that would summon mor of those elves. At last, she located a locket inside a display case, and using the spell she had learned in the second solo dungeon destroyed it completing the dungeon, and teleporting her back to her dorm. When she woke the next morning, she received the message that another of Voldemort's Horcruxes had been destroyed.

After clearing that dungeon Jasmine had spent some time with her team.

Parvati led the team in painting their nails.

Luna had led the team as they searched the hedge maze for the Crumple-Horned Snorkack. They didn't find 1, but all of them had a great time.

Gabrielle had asked if they could all build sand castles on the beach. At first that seemed difficult since there was no beach at Hogwarts. However, Jasmine had led the others to the Room of Requirements on the seventh floor, and everyone had a fun time building sand castles, and then destroying them with their powers.

Hannah had simply asked for a picnic, and so thanks to the house elves the girls had a nice picnic lunch.

Daphne had simply wanted to spend time with Jasmine alone, and so the 2 girls had snuck away for a private dinner while everyone else was in the great hall.

After a few days of this Jasmine was summoned into her next solo dungeon. This time Jasmine found herself in tunnels that stretched in every direction. Even up and down.

Thankfully for this dungeon she had been provided with a compass that pointed in the direction she needed to travel. That wasn't to say that it would be an easy trek. There were strange looking goblins all over the place, and at each intersection she had been forced to fight a dragon. Along the way she also found plenty of jewels, and coins that she placed in the pouch she had also been given at the start of the dungeon.

Jasmine's first clue as to where the dungeon was supposed to represent was when she came across the deed to Malfoy Mannor. Upon examining it she realized the dungeon was supposed to represent Gringotts. Jasmine almost panicked when she discovered this, but thankfully she snapped out of it long enough to find a golden cup on a high shelf. Since the compass was pointing right at the cup Jasmine tried out her newest attack on the cup, blasting it into small pieces, and teleported out of the dungeon and receiving the expected message about the destruction of 1 of Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Nothing happened for the rest of march, or April. But in early May Jasmine was summoned to another solo dungeon. This time she found herself outside of a decrepit manor house. She still had the compass form the last dungeon, and when she looked at it, she was surprised to see the needle moving around.

"I guess this Horcrux doesn't stay in 1 spot" Jasmine thought to herself.

Following the needle as she circled the manor, Jasmine was surprised to come upon a giant snake slithering through the grass on the hunt for a meal.

Watching from a nearby tree Jasmine blinked as the needle pointed to the snake. "I guess I will have to have my first real boss fight when it comes to this" she thought.

As the snake paused to sniff the air, Jasmine jumped down and launched a punch at the snake. Just as she had expected it wasn't going to be that easy, as the snake just swayed out of the way of the punch.

"Oh yessss, food."

Jasmine didn't even try to dodge the snake's strike. Instead, she blocked the fangs with the gauntlets she had found in the tunnels, and returned a powerful punch that nearly took the snakes head off.

Sensing it was in danger the snake tried to flee, however for some reason neither snake nor human could leave the grounds of the manor. Realizing there was no escape the snake redoubled its efforts to kill Jasmine.

Kneeling down Jasmine waited for the snake's next attack. As the snake struck at the gauntlet covering Jasmine's left arm, Jasmine performed a "sky uppercut" slamming her fist into the head of the snake.

Without warning the head of the snake exploded, and a black whisp flew off. Smiling tiredly, Jasmine teleported out of the dungeon.

When Jasmine awoke the next morning, she expected to receive the usual message about destroying 1 of Voldemort's horcruxes. Instead, what she got was this.

`Mission complete

All of Voldemort's horcruxes destroyed.

Reward: life stone. `

Jasmine sagged in relief. She had no idea how many of these horcruxes Voldemort had made, but it seemed she had found them all. Now just what was this life stone?

Jasmine smiled quietly as she ignored Bagman's chatter, the looks from Dumbledore and her old friends, the curious looks she was getting from Diggory and Krum, and finally the cheers the students who had been ready to ostracize her over being picked as a champion. The exceptions were of course Parvati, Lavender, Daphne, Luna, Gabrielle, Fleur, Hannah, Susan, and Megan. For these people she flashed a soft and warm smile.

At last Bagman had tired of his own voice, and sounded the whistle that allowed Jasmine to sprint into the maze.

– Separator –

As Jasmine reached a split in the path out of sight of those outside the maze, she pulled out the compass she had gotten in the tunnel maze solo dungeon. Studying the needle Jasmine turned right and continued following the path.

Eight turns, and 3 double backs later Jasmine encountered her first trap. It looked like a shimmering curtain of mist. Clearly the designers wanted the contestants to run through the mist, but Jasmine wasn't an elemental master for nothing.

Extending 1 arm into the mist Jasmine observed the change displayed on her status screen.

`Confusion mist.

Anyone who enters this mist will feel as if they are upside down, side wase, backwards, in effect any way other than the way they truly are. `

Nodding to herself Jasmine took a deep breath, and activating sprint shot through the mist, and out the other side in less than a second.

"To bad I'm not an air elemental" Jasmine thought as she took the next right turn. "If I was, I could have just blown the mist away."

Back outside of the maze Jasmine's team mates sat watching the other competitors, and the judges. After Jasmine had shown them the book about the "Grater Good" all of them had realized something was wrong with their head-master, and they were determined to be sure nothing happened to Jasmine and the other competitors.

It was because of this vigilance that Hannah noticed their defense professor slowly drawing close to Krum. Using her "Faid out" ability Hannah jumped from her seat, and hurried over to see what the professor was up too.

Hannah watched as Professor Moody surreptitiously raised his wand, and cast the "Imperious" curse at Krum. Thinking quickly Hanna willed a wall of shadow between the curse and Krum.

`New spell created

Shadow shield level 1`

To Hannah's relief, and Moody's confusion, Krum remained clear headed and ignored everyone else around him.

Hannah watched as Moody tried again, and again to cast the Imperius curse on Krum. Right up until the whistle blue for the third time, and Krum entered the maze.

Hannah waited, following Moody around, until the last contestant Fleur entered the maze. Smiling to herself Hannah made her way back up into the stands, and sat back down next to Gabrielle, and across from Luna.

"Where did you go for so long Hannah" Parvati asked.

"I saw Professor Moody sneaking around, and so I went to see what he was up too."

"Did anything happen" Daphne asked, a worried look on her face.

Hannah smiled. "No, but not for lack of trying on Moody's part. I caught the professor trying to imperius Krum. Thankfully I was able to create a shield of shadow protecting Krum from the curse."

"Is my sister ok" Gabrielle aske.

Hannah nodded. "Surprisingly Moody didn't even try to imperius Fleur."

Luna spoke up. "We need to keep an eye on both the fake Moody, and the head-master."

Use to Luna's abrupt manner of speaking, the other girls nodded, and settled down to watch the rest of the competition.

Meanwhile Jasmine had heard the whistle blow 3 more times, and so knew the others were now in the maze. Sighing to herself at the end of her fun, Jasmine looked at the compass, walked to the nearest hedge wall that pointed int the right direction, and unleashed "Ground dasher" blasting the walls away as she ran at nearly top speed for the center of the maze.

Arriving in front of a pedestal at the center of the maze, Jasmine saw the tri-wizard trophy just sitting there. Suspicious Jasmine held 1 hand over the trophy, and glanced at her status screen.

`Portkey to an unknown location. Either the destination is blocked, or the portkey will transport the user to a location that you have never been to before. `

Nodding to herself Jasmine activated the team chat.

"Team I'm about to spring a trap. I'll be fine, but I need you all to look for anyone who acts strangely when I disappear. Use any skills you need to take them down. I'll see you all when I get back."

With that Jasmine deactivated the team chat, and grabbed ahold of the trophy. At once she disappeared in the swirl of a portkey.

An: and that is where we will end this chapter. Next chapter we will have the fight with Voldemort. As well as another person whose identity was hinted at in this chapter.

Only 1 more chapter to go before the epilog. Please let me know if I should continue Jasmine's adventures in other worlds within the next couple of weeks.

Also, this will be the last we see of the character sheets, so the last 2 chapters will probably be much shorter than the rest of the story.

Daphne wants to find a way to save her little sister. Not only from whatever danger she is put into, but also the curse she was placed under at age 6. Daphne has narrowed the cure down to a potion of some kind, but Snape's teaching method is making her search harder, not easier.
