Crippling Insanity
My sanity…it's crumbling,
And will soon be no more than
A broken dream,
A vision that once existed
Somewhere in my soul.
I used to know what love was
Or thought I did
But now all that is left
Is the struggle of life
The fight
Holding in the emotions
A constant battle for equanimity.
My sanity is crumbling
For my world is a prison,
A cell that I am trapped in,
And no matter how hard I try
I can't escape the confines
Of my own twisted mind.
Another little poem I came up with...hope you all like. I'm more satisfied with this one than 'The Nurse Who Loved Me'...but I'd love to hear what my darling reviewers have to say! I hope that I caught all of the errors in this one...
This poem is interesting because it could apply to a lot of characters...so you can pick which one, I guess!
