Crossing Over

A bad scientific reaction sends Ed into yet another strange world. Ours. But what if this 'bad' reaction turned out to be a good one?

'I don't know why I'm here, soaked to my bones standing in front of someone I never met. I'm cold and dirty but I'm here.'- Once Upon A Rainy Day by silent:tears:fall

I was soaked, to put it mildly. Mud caked a good portion of the bottom half of my pants, and my butt. I grimaced, looking up into the gray clouds that cried heavily, for an unknown purpose. I've always loved the rain—just not in my eyes.

Moving forward, I looked around. Not much to look at really. Just some bleachers, goal posts, grass, more grass, and a body.

Wait—a body!

I tentatively walked over, as I had no cell phone to call for help, hoping beyond all hope that the person wasn't dead. As I came closer I saw the steady rise and fall of the person's chest. I knelt next to them, and found my find to be a him with long blond hair, and a perpetual blush stretched across his cheeks.

I gasped as my mind placed the face from my many hours of watching my DVD's.

Edward Elric of Fullmetal Alchemist was here! In my world!

…On my school's football field…in the rain…

'Oh my fcking god, I've got to get him inside!' I mentally yelled. I took off my jacket—not much, but who gives a damn in a situation like this? —and wrapped it around the smaller boys frame. At that moment I thanked anyone who was listing that he was smaller than I was.

I pulled my wavy brown hair into a messy ponytail, and picked him up, automail arm going around my shoulders, and began trudging back to my house.

No one would be home, and for once, I wished there would be.

I, ordinary, nothing special, anime-loving, 16 year old girl Nicole Kelly, had just been thrust into something extraordinary.

Kudos to me! Something exciting finally happened!
