No Grey's Anatomy fanfics? I'm ashamed! Here's my stab at a one-shot. At least it's something, right?

Disclaimer: I don't Grey's Anatomy. Duh. If I did, I'd be writing scripts for the real show.

"Do you think I'm gay?"

"What are you talking about George?"

Meredith looked at him curiously. The two were sitting on a stretcher in the hall, waiting for the ER to pick up. It had been strangely calm the last few days.

"Do you think I'm gay?" he asked again, more serious this time.

"No, George, I do not think you are gay," she reassured, trying to hold back a smile. She thought he was actually gay for a very short period of time, the first time she'd met him. "How could I anyway? I see the way you look at Izzy!" she hinted, nudging him on his arm. "I know you're nuts for her."

"Izzy?"

"Yeah, I totally see the way you look at her George! Don't deny it!"

"No way. Izzy's really nice and I like her as a friend," he stammered, "but not like that."

"Sure. You keep thinking that. But I don't think you're gay," Meredith said before hopping off the stretcher and walking to the desk.

George sighed, amused slightly by Meredith. She was so oblivious to his desire. How could she think that he had feelings for Izzy? He only had eyes for Meredith. She was so beautiful and sure, so different from his timid self. It was dagger through his heart whenever she looked through him and it was a wound she refused to sow shut.

Not that his desire was well know. Only one person beside himself knew how he felt and it was a gay VIP liver cancer patient. He was quite the strange confidant. In a sense, George wished he could tell Meredith how he felt but there was no use. Why would she want someone ordinary like him? What would she say? That's great George, thanks. Now move out of my way so I can go brush my teeth? That wasn't exactly what he wanted to hear.

A twinge of jealous ran through him when he saw Meredith speaking to Derek, the attending at the hospital. He knew there was something between them. Of course there was. Derek was the prefect, handsome attending who lusted after the young, striking, smart and funny intern. If a relationship was forbidden, it was bound to happen.

"Hey, George, wake up," Cristina said, smacking him in the arm with a clipboard. "We've got some idiot coming in who got his head bashed in by a baseball bat. It may be too early to tell but I'm thinking some brain surgery may be involved. It's freaking awesome. Want to come? I'll fight you for it."

George chucked. Cristina was the perfect one to lift a guy's spirits when he was contemplating the love of his life. "Why not?" he said, hopping of the stretcher and joining her.

I'm hoping this wont turn out to be the only GA fanfic around here. I'm counting on you guys. I know it's short but its all just fluff. Good times. I wont tell you to review because if you weren't planning on reviewing, my words probably wont change your mind. I do want you to though, don't get me wrong.
