I have decided to take a stab at romance. STAB! Ummm, yeah. Trelawney & Snape. And if anyone knows Trelawney's first name I shall be greatly obliged. Until then, she is Susan. Hehehehe.

Snape patrolled the halls looking for students out of bed, especially Gryffindor. They had done revoltingly well on their last potions test, even Neville. Suddenly, he heard someone crying in the halls. He rolled his eyes and went to investigate. 'Probably some lost first-year,' he thought. He was surprised when the crys lead him to the forbidden section of the library. He was even more surprised when he realized from whom the cries were coming.

"Professor Trelawney?"

She was curled-up in a ball, shaking slightly. "I...I...I didn't mean it…they won't die...no one will die…"

Though he tried not to show it, Severus was worried. Every time he had seen Professor Trelawny she was…annoying. He decided he liked the annoying. He bent-down awkwardly and tried to comfort her.

"There, there, Potter's still alive," Snape reassured her, but he couldn't help mumbling, "and apparently copying from Hermione's test."

Trelawney looked-up, her eyes, no longer covered with her atrocious glasses were wide with fear. "No, all of them. I keep having the same dream. They're all dead and he keeps telling me I killed them. I'm sorry, so sorry."

There was no question who 'he' was. Snape helped Trelawny up. "Calm yourself, professor. Let's just tell Dumbledore. It will be fine."

Trelawney leaned up against Snape, steadying herself. Snape blushed the slightest bit when he realized he really didn't mind it. He fought it back. "Yes," Trelawney breathed, "Dumbledore will know."

They went down the hall together, Snape leading. Trelawney was a bit blind without her glasses. They were surprised to find the headmaster at his desk.

"Professors?"

Trelawny explained her troubling dreams while Dumbledore listened and nodded sagely.

"Hmmmm, I'll look into it. They don't seem like much more than innocent nightmares, but one can never be sure. Now, I suggest you two go to the kitchens and get yourselves some tea. I always find tea to be quite relaxing. The professors went off, and as they closed the door, Dumbledore chuckled, his eyes twinkling. "Hogwarts has seen stranger matches…"
