She was gorgeous, with soft brown tresses and a lithe body. Her back was smooth and her legs were long, and Erik especially liked the part where her legs and back combined...He slapped himself. This girl was barely a woman, and he was nearly fifty! Whatever he had been thinking ended when he saw which room was hers. The full length, two-way mirror in her room led straight down the commune's road to his home. Why, he could visit her every day! Christine was humming and Erik lost himself in his thoughts. Without realizing it, he threw his voice into her room, "Christine". "Who's there?" She cried out.

He heard her footsteps and backed behind the door. She looked but did not see him, nobody ever saw him. "Anyone out here?" She called. Erik did not want to be discovered, so he threw his voice into the room. "Christine, your very beautiful." She went back inside. "Did my footstool just compliment me?" She wondered aloud. "Oh, don't be silly." Erik watched from the open door. "Christine, why do you not sing at your full potential?" Her footstool asked. "Who are you?" Christine cried out. What was he doing? He would drive the young girl crazy. But all notions of him making her crazy ended when she asked

"Are you the Angel of Music?" WHATT! Erik tried not to laugh. "Of course I am" He said. Christine clapped her hands. "Oh I knew you'd come, Daddy always told me." Erik was doubled over with laughter, trying hard not to give away his presence. "Who was your father?" He asked. "Why Daae of course!" Erik had no idea who that was. "Ah, yes, he told me to come and give you singing lessons, so you could astound Paris." This girl may be beautiful, and she had a great voice, but there were a few screws missing. He threw his voice to the mirror, and Christine followed. This may be the only way he'd get to talk to her.

She would never consent to date a grotesque monster like him. So he arranged a time to visit her and teach her singing. In time, if she was willing, he would show her his presence and enjoy her company as a man, until then, he had to content himself with being an Angel.
