She never knew how it started, but she thought that it happened when she was three. Eden sat in the middle of potions staring at the drenched figures around her. Snape had told her that her potion was wrong and had to start over. Eden had been working on it for the past hour. She became anger, her eyes turned black and the cauldron exploded causing the awaking potion to cover everyone.
When Eden was little, her mother was cooking and she distracted her causing it to burn. Her father yelled at Eden, when he turned around, her eyes glowed black causing the spaghetti sauce to explode drenching the whole kitchen.
Eden was born in April and looked nothing like her family. Her mother, father, older brother and sister were tan with dark hair and brown eyes. She looked nothing like them. She had light blond hair, pale skin, and large green eyes with a dusting of freckles on her face. Her parents always thought that she was switched at birth. But a blood test proved that she was their daughter. Her parents were muggles, and knew nothing about her being a witch. Her grandmother told her what Eden was when a book she wanted across the room flew right over to her. Her Grandmother saw this, and told her everything. So now her parents think she goes to a boarding school, when really she goes to Hogwarts.
That's how she was standing in the middle of Advanced Potions (6th year) drenched in her awaking potion.
"20 points from Gryffindor Miss. Evans and detention." Said Snape
The Slytherins stared to laugh as Eden blushed and started to clean everything up. "I…I'm…Sorry." Eden whispered. The bell ringed as everyone got up to leave. Neville looked at her with sad eyes. But he turned around with a happy look in his eyes. "Finally, not me."
Snape finished the rest of the cleaning. Well a little bit. Eden grabbed her books and left. But Snape stopped her. "Come here at 7:00 to do your detention" with that she ran out of the room.
She ran up the stairs to put her thing up in her dorm. But missed the missing step and fell down the stairs and laid sprawled at the bottom of the steps. Everyone in the entrance hall laughed. A hand reached down "Here, let me help you up." Eden grabbed the hand and stood looking in to the eyes of the boy-who-lived.
