She tried to push herself up, but just fell back and hit her head on the stone floor. Blood soaked her red hair. She took a deep breath but refused to cry.

Her eyes flashed around the room and they landed on a tin jug of water. She licked her dry lips, they were cracked and bleeding. She crawled over to it and went to take a drink. The jug was empty.

The door creaked open and he walked in. he seemed so much taller than before. His grey eyes looked at her mockingly. He held out a small glass of water, "Thirsty?"

"Bastard," she replied hoarsely and crawled away from.

"Now, Ginny, that is no way to talk to me," Draco laughed.

If she had any fluid she would spit on him. He crouched next to her and grabbed her chin. "It's all over," he said sternly, "It's been over for a year now. Harry's dead, Hermione's dead, your entire family is dead. Just give up, it would be so much easier."

She laughed dryly, "I'd rather that you kill me."

He shoved her away, "You'll surrender to me, that I can guarantee." He stalked out of the room.

She leaned her back against the wall and began to laugh. All she could think of was how dry her mouth was.
