A short, story of How Professor Charles Francis Xavier lost the use of his legs.(yeah and I know in the comics it's all Magneto's fault but my friend gave me an idea and I decided to go with it, in fact she gave me the idea for my story the irresistible dance…wait no, that was mine….never mind!) and a brief mention of when he got his powers.
It was a fine day in Scotland and Young Charles Xavier was doing around the house. His father came out to him and said. "charles I need you to chop some wood for the winter." His father gave him an ax and a radio so on his break he could listen to Scottish music, such as Jigs and such. He packed it all in a small bag and carried it out to the woods. He went looking around for a good tree to cut down and chop into little tiny pieces. When he found that tree he put the bag down beside it and took out the ax and started chopping. When he was half way through he decided he needed a break. He put the ax down and took out his radio, he tuned it so it was on his favorite station he rested by a nearby tree and listened to the sound of Scottish music. He jumped up when he heard his favorite jig. He thought of how it went and then started doing it. After about a minute and a half two squirrels came running around his feet, he lost his balance and landed on the ax. He tried to scream but no sound came out and then he saw black.
When he woke up he was in his room and heard voices but it didn't seem like it was coming from his ears. He heard it in his head. "..when he fell on the ax, it went into his spine." He heard his mother and than his father. "and what will happen to him." He heard the doctor again. "the bottom half of his body is paralyzed for the rest of his life." Charles sat back and closed his eyes. His parents came in. "Charles, are you alright?" Charles opened his eyes. "oh mother, father my life is ruined!"
The End.
The ending is a bit sad, but oh well!
