IssueshaveI: Well guys. I hate to say it, but I think I'm going to give up on my other story. It was getting dull, and I got a review about it being "unoriginal". If you have the time, I would appreciate it if you read it and told me if you would like me to continue it. So, I've decided to make up a new story! Hope you like it! It's being made up as I type.

The wind rushed through his long red hair, making goose bumps appear on his neck. 'Where is he? He promised to be here an hour ago.' He thought to himself. His green orbs traced the outline of the park again. He saw nothing and sighed, sulking back down into the bench that he had become accustomed to. Then, underneath the oak tree at the entrance to the park, was a small figure, running. The tall boy stood up quickly and rushed over to him.

The small figure grew bigger as the boy ran towards him. "Hiei!" he called. The small figure finally reached him and looked nonchalantly at the tall boy. "Hn." He replied.

"Do you have the news?" the boy asked him.

"No." Hiei replied coldly. "He found nothing. Don't make it a habit of asking me to do your bidding, Kurama."

The red haired boy, now known as Kurama, smiled at him. "Thank you for your help, Hiei. I will have to find out on my own."

"Hn." The short figure called and disappeared before Kurama's eyes. 'Always in a rush.' He thought to himself.

Kurama picked up his book bag, rising the heavy load onto his shoulder, and starting walking home. The wind was cold, but the sun beat down heavily on him, making the wind feel like a refreshing breeze. He whistled a somewhat happy tune as he walked, creating a small skip in his step. "I hope mother hasn't been delaying dinner too long." He spoke softly to himself.

Reaching his destination a few minutes later, he touched the cold door handle and opened it. Stepping inside he could smell the aroma of baked bread. "Mother, I'm home." He called.

A woman appeared in the room that the boy was standing in. "Shuichi!" She smiled. Her black hair was tied with a ribbon behind her head and she wore an apron around her neck. Her smile was small, but showed the happiness throughout her face. "You're a little late, but I saved a dinner plate for you."

"Thank you mother." He said sweetly. Setting down his book bag and taking off his shoes, he walked into the kitchen where the aroma of bread was strongest. His mother handed him a plate filled with fruits and vegetables, a large piece of steak, and a slice of the freshly baked bread. He ate heartily and thanked her for the meal.

After helping his mother with the dishes he retired to his room. As he lay down on his bed, he looked at his surroundings. His shelf was neatly stacked with books of many genres, the nightstand held an alarm clock and lamp that made a dim light, and his floor was spotless, just vacuumed. Squeezing himself between the soft clean sheets and his mattress, he stared at the clock. 'When will I know?' He asked. 'When?' Drooping, his eyelids finally shut themselves closed and he fell into a dreamless sleep.

IssueshaveI: I'm sorry! I didn't really put a lot of information in this chapter, but that's to grab your attention! XD I try so hard. Well, please review and tell me if you'd like me to continue. I wrote this totally without a plan, so maybe your reviews will encourage me to continue with an actual plot! Ja ne!
