"Please…please don't go…stay…stay. Don't leave me."
Her voice that pleaded kept playing in his head. He couldn't forget the look on her face that night. Never had he expected that the war would start all over again. Maybe he got his hopes to high, too high that he had lived with her for 3 years with no worries that they'd be torn apart…again.
The war was officially starting tomorrow but that dawn, she couldn't sleep. Thinking about her. Just everything about her was too much to miss. He wanted her in his arms badly. He looked up the stars.
"I'm sorry they had to call you," a familiar voice said.
He spun around and saw…the…dead Nakago. He said nothing.
"We may have thought the war had ended…but it actually didn't. Miraculously it started over again and Suboshi you were chosen to end it once again."
Suboshi looked at the ground then at Nakago. "If I don't go through this alive…I…I want you to give this to her." Suboshi said handing out a blue glittery paper to Nakago. "You could touch it right? You're strong enough to."
Nakago wasn't certain "No…I can't take that." He said.
Suboshi frowned "But why?"
"I know you're going through this alive."
"I'm not sure," he said "But just for safety."
Nakago's finger touched the edge of the paper. "I'll keep it first but I want you to go through this alive…for her."
Suboshi smiled and nodded "Thanks," he muttered.
"I know how you feel for her…every since."
Suboshi stiffened.
"Such strong love you hold for Miss Yui."
Silence continued.
"So that's why you have to go through this alive, Suboshi."
Suboshi just nodded.
"The war's going to start any time."
Suboshi smiled and walked out of the tent.

Yui opened her eyes and looked at the opened window. It was too cold for her to bear anymore. Yui stood up to close it. She walked towards it and closed it. She stroked her hair and sighed. She walked back to her bed and saw a blue glittery paper.
She looked at it and looked around. No one was there. She bit her lower lip and got it. She read:
Miss Yui,
Sorry I never told you. All I, wanted to say. But I guess I know you know how strong my love for you is. And this is mainly the reason why I accepted the offer. I want to go to the war to protect your world…the world where you are.
That night, I saw it in your eyes. There was certain sadness. Was it me who made you cry? Was it something I said or just how reacted. I can tell it with your smile. I know your hurting inside. Will you ever forgive me? If I tell you that I am sorry.
You know that no one makes me happy like you do. You're a very special girl to me, Miss Yui. Darling I never showed, never showed you my love. I love you, I love you even if the world goes dark.
But I guess now, all I can say is I'm….
SORRY
Truly and lovingly yours,
Suboshi
Yui's tears flowed down. No one may have told her but she knows. She knows all that are left with her are memories. But she knows, even though he is gone; love will make a way. She'd be with him again…someday. She sat on her bed holding the letter close to her chest…her heart.
THE END
