Thank You
Thank you for just being there,
When I needed someone who would just listen and care.
You were the friend that I had longed for,
The one who was kind and never made me feel sore.
I wish all my friends could be like you,
Then they would be nice and caring too.
I'm writing this poem to thank you for what you've done,
Now I'm on top and I've won.
I feel much better inside,
Know that I am finally happy and I know why.
Thanks to you my heart soars to the skies,
I now feel more aware and alive.
Thanks is really all I can say,
Hopefully things can stay this way.
I hope this let's you know how much better I feel,
No more inside of a spinning wheel.
