To Experience Life As You Did
From the comfort of my home
I looked down at yours
Wishing to be where you were
I would give anything
To experience life as you did
Sometimes I found the courage
To sneak away from it all
The responsibility, the burden
And find you, be with you
To experience life as you did
These were happy times
Our togetherness was forbidden
My heart was yours
I wished to be with you
To experience life as you did
Unfortunately this life was cut short
Our worlds were not built
To live in this sort of harmony
We were forbidden to want
To experience life as you did
Now you and I
Are left to wander
Until we find each other
So what we can be together
To experience life as we should have
