The door to the Talon, made the familiar chime signaling a customer.
" We're closed," Lana said, not looking up, as she wiped down the tables.
" Hi," a meek voice came from behind her. She knew that voice, it was the one that had killed her parents upon his arrival to Earth: Clark's voice.
She wheeled around glaring at him" What?" she asked, hiding her broken heart behind an annoyed and angry facade.
" I.. I.., when I left, I kinda forgot to show you something," he stuttered." can I?"
"Okay," she agreed, it couldn't get any worse, The love of her life was an alien from some planet called Krypton after all.
He instantly brightened up slightly( This has to work) he thought." Great follow me," he said extending his hand for her to take. She reluctantly took it, and let her self be lead up through her apartment out onto the balcony."close your eyes," he whispered to her. Sighing, she did as he had instructed. " I can't forgive you for not telling me," she did manage.
' I know," he said quietly, a twinge of hurt and guilt in his voice.
" there " he whispered a moment later, " open your eyes"
When she did, she squealed in shock and delight, grabbing hold of the front of Clark's shirt, a huge smile on her face.
Clark was smiling down at her." You like it" he asked innocently" she only nodded, before looking back at the view below her. She was flying above Metropolis, with Clark..
About an hour later, they set back down on her balcony. " im sorry " he said again." I hope one day you'll understand why I didn't tell-" It was cut off when Lana kissed him. After they pulled apart she murmured " I always wanted to fly"
Yeah so thats it, it was based on the Talon scene in Leech, cause I still hope he takes Lana flying when he tells her, and that line set it up(in Leech). So yeah, review. Later!
