I must say that this is not my style, usually. KishxIchigo is more hinted at than KishxMint, but I got the idea and... I had to get it out on paper. Well, actually computer screen. Enjoy!

Lost Dog, New Love

Mint was in a panic. Her beloved dog, Mikki, was nowhere to be found. She had checked everywhere for the pup, but she couldn't find him. Mint finally decided to search outside, around her mansion.

This, however, posed a problem. She had no one to drive her around to the places Mikki mightbe- her grandmother was at some spa- "Pampered PoofSpa", was it?- andthechauffer had the day off.She would have to walk everywhere.

Now walking anywhere when you wear shoes like Mint's is no small feat. Today she had chosen shoes that had been bought for her by Zakuro. They had incredibly large heels, but she never took them off if she could help it. Her idol's aurainfecting herwas more important than some small amount of personal pain.

But it was a problem.

As Mint stepped out of her house, she felt as if she was being watched. She ignored the feeling and moved the leash she had brought with her into her other hand.

After walking for less than a mile, Mint sat down under a tree. Okay, maybe there had been more than a small amount of pain involved. It felt as if every bone in her foot was broken, and she hadn't even made a dent in the distance she was travelling. She sighed and muttered to herself, "I'll never find Mikki like this!"

"Need some help, duckie?" said a voice from above her head. She looked up and saw Kish, which didn't help matters any.

"First of all, I'm a lorikeet- almostno resemblance to a duck at all. Second of all, you wouldn't be able to help me. I'm not trying to control the universe or ruin the world or anything."

"But your feet seem to be defective. I could carry you," he said, holding out his arms.

"Lower myself to being carried by an alien? No way!"

Kish put his arms down. "Then I guess you can find your precious pooch without my help. After all, who needs to teleport when you've got feet?"

Mint sighed. He had a point, and she wasn't going to be able to get anywhere if she just walked. "Oh, fine," she said. "But not a word of this to the others."

"And not a word of this to the rest of my kind," he said, picking her up and carrying her like on might hold a kitten or a baby. Mint had to admit that it was very comfortable.

They searched almost all of the places Mint thought Mikki might be, but at some point it became more of an afternoon stroll than a vigorous search for a lost puppy. Mint leaned more into Kish, and they slowed down. After awhile theyflew back to the mansion (Even though Kish could have just teleported...). Mint had almost completely forgotten about Mikki in the lull of being held in another's arms. Kish set Mint down. "Thank you for everything, Kish," said Mint quickly. "But don't let that make you think that I will take it easy on you during fights."

Kish leaned forward and kissed Mint softly on the lips. "And don't let that make you think that I won't pursue Ichigo anymore," he said softly. Then he teleported away.

Mint stood there, touching her lips, and the door slammed. A bark was heard. "I'm home!" shouted Grandma. "And Mikki and I had a wonderful time at the Pampered Pooch Spa!"
