Duo wasn't much of a musician. Or a music afficionado for that matter. But, once while Quatre was off in endless discussions with his Maqanac Corps, he sat at Winner's laptop, looking for information, news about OZ is what he intended to find. But he ended up looking at colonial news bytes instead. Apparently there had been some malfunction in the aqueduct systems on the L2 cluster, and he tried to download the entire broadcast as he started munching on an apple. Unfortunately, he could not find the file once it was done. The feat of finding the file was difficult for him because he had no idea where it had saved to, or what it was called. "Aw, c'mon." He chomped another bite of fruit. He opened another file just as he nearly dropped the apple which he had been tossing up and down on the floor. He caught it, but it slipped from his hands as he heard the first notes of the music. At first it was just a violin, sad, sweet, it sounded like Quatre had played. The musician seemed unaware of any audience it had in the microphone. Duo was pondering the possibility of bugs when that flute piped in. It made Duo almost want to cover his ears, because the conjunction of the two was so arresting, so deeply stirring. It recalled the loss of his friend, but also the joy in the discovery of that friendship. The recording cut off midway through and though he didn't quite understand it, he was both relieved and unfulfilled when it ended. "That was intense," he shook his head and decided to shut off the laptop, and go buy a paper instead.
