A Moonlit Night

Upon a Moonlit Night,
A Couple walked down the beach,
Hand in Hand.
What a sight,
Especially since they used to bicker.
They were the only two who made it through...
together.
In his mind he thought
'Her emerald eyes sparkled in the Moonlight.'
Her eyes lead to her soul and it's warm with passion.'
He, by-accident, spoke the words "I love you."
"I love you too." she spoke in an even softer voice.
"With your raven black hair all messed up,
and your hazel brown eyes that melt my heart.
It just took me longer to realize this than you."
They sat down on the beach together and sang,
"The Moonlight is where it first happened,
where I first met you.
Where we kissed under the starry lights,
Where we said 'I love you'.
Oh how I wish those days where back,
but not the ones without you."
He got down on one knee and said,"Will you marry me?
I have always loved you. From the day you stepped in the Great Hall,
I knew, that we would be together forever."
She spoke softly,"Wow. After all we've been through .
I mean, I used to hate you, but I love you so.
Yes, I will marry you."
