I'll admit...
This is one strange poem I just came up with, it doesn't even rhyme, or even have a good rhythm to it,
But there it is...
Hey, I do have an excuse for this, I am worn out from playing DDR (Dance Dance Revolution)...If you are one of those people who are rolling their eyes thinking I am the most pathetic person in the world from being worn out from a video game, it means you have never played it and have no right to judge me...
If you are one of those people who don't know what I'm ranting about, please excuse and politely ignore the above.
Feel free to flame this...or ignore this...whatever, I just want to put this up cause it makes me feel good to put up stuff.
If you like it, or even get it (and probably will) then three cheers for me..and you, of course...
Conundrum
In the streets of New York City
I am both predator and prey.
Within this urban jungle,
Life on the streets is bittersweet-
When you're not meant to live a charmed life.
I consider myself ordinary,
Yet I'm something extraordinary
Judging by the reactions of people who've seen.
No one else can tell me
They know what it's like
Hovering on the edge of evolution and extinction,
Both at the same time.
And no one will fully understand
What it's like to be a conundrum,
Disrupting their sense of normal
In this game we call life.
A/N: If I have used the word 'conundrum' in the wrong context, let me know in the nicest way. Because it was the only thing that my mind could come up with that would make some sense...I think...
