Chap. 2/ 5 purple bows
We drove up the trail past a bridge then up to the middle of the mountain. Stonefire dragged me around to each room, floor to floor. It was a beautiful and wondrous house, even though it the walls painted.
A metal spiral stair leaded to the kitchen which was the attic. There were red, orange, and yellow lights, a huge plasma screen TV, and other 'hip' decorations. Stonefire and I chewed down on some pizza and 'Pepsi.' We watched a little TV, music, and games. It was time for bed, but before that, she showed me her outfits.
"And since there's school tomorrow! You should wear this!" She pulled out a purple skirt with a silver belt. Two purple boots, and a white tank top with a small purple bow. My eyes dazzled at the outfit. It was unbelievable, breathtaking, and pretty! I squeezed my cousin with love, very tight. She went to her jewelry box and pulled out five other purple bows.
"Put on your skirt." I did as she told me. She sewed on 3 bows under the silver belt. Their ribbons shined as they hung down long. I was impressed with Stonefire's talent and knowledge. She knew so much more than I, but that is probably because she is 17. And I am only 14 ½.
I got back into my nightgown and tucked myself into the bed. I closed my eyes slowly, and dreamt quickly.
