Disclaimer: Her outfit is red,

Her eyes are blue,

I own the plot

But not Mimiru.

(or Tsukasa, or the World, but the rest is MINE)

A/N: Just so you know:

This is my first-ever posted fanfic, so please be kind.

This is demonspawn of my sister Vivi Scarlett-Sedai's Rojo Seda Rosa

This is the first one-shot in the "I Wish" series.

I wrote this on Valentine's Day.

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Oh look, it's Uoshoujo Michael!"

"He's sooo hot"

"Shhhh, he's looking over here!"

"I'm gonna give him my valentine's now."

"'K, good luck Mika!"

Amasa leaned over her friend's desk, a Nestle bar in her hand.

"Hey, Mimiru, look at all the chocolates your brother's got!" she gestured with her head towards the eighteen-year-old boy, one eyebrow arching almost to her hairline.

Mimiru didn't look. She have to. It was the same every year: all the girls gave Michael chocolates, all the boys gave Mel chocolates. No one even considered giving the youngest anything, not even a "happy valentine's day to my friend." Why should they? She wasn't very smart or popular.

Ami, sensing her friend's inner turmoil, patted her hand.

"Don' worry 'bout it, Mimiru, ye be an irreplaceable friend, an' eye 'on't be needin' a block o' chocolate to be a tellin' ye that" she said, imitating their English teacher perfectly.

Mimiru sighed heavily and thought about the e-mail she'd sent to Tsukasa that morning before she'd left for school;

Dear Tsukasa,

Happy valentine's day to the most irritating bestfriend ever.

Heaps of love Mimiru.

P.S. I'll give you your chocolate when you log off, OK?

For some reason, Mimiru kept thinking about it all day. When she was writing the e-mail, she had accidentally written 'the most irritating Boyfriendever', and had to go back and correct it.

Why did I write that? Mimiru wondered on her way home from Track practice.

When she got home, her father strode over to her.

"This was in the mail for you." He said carelessly, passing her a chocolate bar which was wrapped in bright red Nestle packaging.

"Remember to do your homework before you go on the computer, you don't want to fall behind."

When Mimiru logged into the world that evening , she had two messages waiting for her.

Dear Mimiru

Happy valentine's day to the most annoying girlfriend ever. Hope you like the chocolate- I e-mailed my sister (who's in your class) and got her to put it in your letter-box.

Heaps of love, Tsukasa.

The second was also from the wave master.

Dear Mimiru

Sorry! I didn't mean to call you my girlfriend- it sort of slipped out, I don't know why. Guess it's cos you're kinda special.

Love Tsukasa.

P.S. meet you at the normal place?

Mimiru smiled. Tsukasa thought she was special! She bit into her chocolate.

She'd have to give him hell about that 'annoying' comment.

THE END.
