AN: This is just a little poem I came up with during a VERY boring IT lesson. This is my very first fanfic poem so please be nice and R&R. I hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I cant remember but I'm pretty sure I don't own DBZ… well I did, but it was a dream… I miss that dream.
My Shining Star
I never felt I had a home,
I never felt I was loved.
I lived a life in his shadow,
I never quite belonged.
In the darkness you left me,
And in the darkness I must stay.
Alone with no-one to guide me,
Just a father who's never there.
But then he came into my life,
My shining star come to guide me.
Away from the dark corners she left,
And his shadow in which I lived.
At first he annoyed me,
I couldn't stand his sweet smile, that stupid grin, that laugh.
He kept secrets and I couldn't stand that.
I had to know who he really was.
What I found I could never have guessed.
That naïve guy that sat next to me in class,
That book nerd I couldn't stand,
Was the one who taught me to fly.
He lifted me high,
Away from the shadows and the darkness,
And showed me a life I could never have dreamed.
