A Meeting of Manners- part 1
The wizarding world was in shock for at least a month over the fact that a Malfoy was proclaimed as a Gryffindor. That was not possible. The hero of the wizard was expected to share houses with his would-be murder? It just wasn't fathomable to the general public.
But, little Harry Potter didn't mind. Ever the noble little boy, he felt everyone deserved a second chance, and besides, Malfoy did have the prettiest blue eyes. Surely someone with eyes that blue couldn't be evil?
Well, Harry Potter decided to trust his instincts. He approached Malfoy in much a similar fashion to the way Malfoy approached him on the train. And, to everyone's surprise, the young blonde accepted Harry's gesture of friendship and the pair became inseparable.
Not a pair of students was as close as they were, not even the lovebirds, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Not even Fred and George, or Gred and Feorge as they are apt to be called, we quite that close.
This intense friendship lasted for quite some time…. From that very moment, they shared everything, lunches, crushes, classes, and had little care for what the world might think of them.
Until the day when devastation stuck; Draco received a letter from his father…..
I know it really is very, very short, but if I don't post this bit now, I probably never will... Hopefully, next chappie will fare better?
