Bring me to Life
A.N.-This is my second fanfic so please go easy on me 'cuz I'm just learning. Also, the song "Bring me to life" will come up in a chapter in future chapters but not anytime I soon I think... Btw in this story Tea is part of the real world meaning like real world and Seto is a make believe character that is part of a TV show and the Tea in the real world is named Anzu Mazaki and they're sort of the same person except they don't know each other and they live in different worlds. Tea Gardner was sitting on her bed reading the dusty spell book in front of her. She had come across the book while browsing the library. Even though it was small compared to all the giant books shelved beside it, it caught her attention immediately. It had a purple velvet cover with words embossed in gold, "Spells and Potions." She had opened it and was intrigued by the many spells and potions in it. Some of them were like "How to turn your worst enemy into a toad" and "Shrink down to the size of a mouse," but the one that intrigued her the most was a "Bring me to life" spell.
She was signing it out when the librarian commented on something. She remarked, "That's funny; I could have sworn that I had given that book away at the book fair yesterday. Let me check, honey. Hold on." She had then typed on the computer. "That's funny, it's still here. I must be getting forgetful in my old age. It must have been another book." Tea had thought that was weird and was thinking about it while flipping through the book.
Tea Gardener was interested in that particular spell because, well, you see, Tea Gardner had an obsession with a certain CEO, namely Seto Kaiba. She loved watching the TV show so that she could catch a fleeting glimpse of him. She knew he wasn't real but she was obsessed. She loved the way that he was so cool and composed and never lost his temper. She also thought that he was rather like her, a loner at school with no friends and she liked the way that he would risk everything for his brother. So, she decided to try the spell, just to satisfy her curiosity. A small part in Tea's mind was hoping dearly that it would work.
First, she substituted the example used in the book for Seto's name. Then she said the name of the person she wanted to bring to life (Seto) and then she said the chant.
I call upon the greater forces
Please hear my humble plea
Grant my greatest wish
Bring Seto to life for me.
It sounded rather pathetic to her ears but she wanted to go through with it. She was chanting when something happened. She was knocked backwards by a large wind and a blinding flash lit her second story room. All her papers blew around the room the vast wind blowing. Tea was recovering her eyesight when she heard a familiar voice ring through the room. "What the hell just happened?" a certain blue-eyed CEO hissed dangerously...
